Story
REAGAN NEEDS A HOME!  (courtesy post - if you are interested, use the contact info at the end of this post)  From Reagan's current caretaker:   "Reagan is a beautiful and loving eight-year-old female German Shepherd. She is very loving and has soulful eyes that seem to say “love me” every time you look at her. Her owner is unable to care for her due to illness. Reagan is looking for a nice home where she can lay by her person or people and would benefit from a yard as well. She has lived in a family with multiple dogs, and there has been no aggression that we know of. We are fostering in our home and cannot foster her inside because two of my older dogs are aggressive towards her. So, she and her son, Sunny Boy are being fostered by us and living in a large pen. They are used to running free and aren’t too happy with the situation, but are taking it in stride and want nothing more than as much attention and love as we can give them. Reagan is definitely a dominant female, as she kept all of the other boy dogs at her house in check over the years. She is extremely intelligent and eager to please. Reagan is a spade female and will be up-to-date on all vaccinations and heartworm testing. I guess Reagan would be considered a senior citizen. She definitely doesn’t act like it, as she plays with Sunny boy and still runs around our farm with ease. We know that she has been aggressive to a cat at one time, but she also has been around cats her whole life and not bothered them. Therefore, it would be best if she went to a home without a cat, just in case. I can say for sure that anybody who adopts Reagan will have a friend and loyal and loving companion for as long as she lives. She has had a rough life, but that is a story to be discussed if you’re interested in adopting her. Please contact Lindy at (304)646-5051 or at Greenspiritwv@frontier.com"  November 14, 2024, 6:28 pm

Story
Meet Dozer! Dozer is a handsome German Shepherd mix with a heart as big as his bark! This 2-year-old, 88-pound brown brindle boy is looking for a loving forever home where he can be the center of attention. While Dozer may not be a fan of other furry friends, he adores children aged 10 and up! He's a gentle giant who loves to play and cuddle with his human companions. With his loyal and affectionate nature, he'll quickly become your best friend. Although Dozer faces some health challenges, including a torn cruciate ligament in his knee and hip dysplasia, he doesn't let that slow him down! He'll need lifelong joint supplements to keep him feeling his best, but with your love and care, he'll thrive. He's also undergoing treatment for Lyme disease, but that doesn't dampen his spirits one bit. If you're ready to open your heart and home to a loving and loyal companion, Dozer is the perfect match for you! Come meet him today and discover the joy of having this wonderful boy by your side. Adopt Dozer and make a difference in both your lives!
