❗Current Location: in a local shelter in South Korea❗• • Rescue Story : Meet Hyonie👋 the sweetest gentlest soul! Hyonie was found in a park in South Korea at four months old in March 2022 and taken to a high-risk shelter alongside her two sisters. Luckily, they were saved right before euthanasia by the rescue team. While one of her sisters is living with a foster family, Hyonie is still in the crowded shelter, awaiting her forever family. • Personality: Affectionate, Submissive, Smart Hyonie may seem a little shy at first, but she is surprisingly a BIG cuddler to people, which means that all she needs is a little bit of time to open up in the beginning. She would thrive on affection as she loves to be petted all the time! She would be a great fit if you are searching for a cuddly pup. She learns things quickly as she is a food-driven smart cookie. You will definitely find training her a part of the joyful journey with her! • With Cats: Not tested • With Dogs: Gets along well with other dogs. She’s a submissive and gentle type of dog. • With Adults/Kids: Good with adults / Unknown for kids • Housetrained: Hyonie knows how to use pee-pads even though she lives in the shelter. She may go potty indoors (pads) and outdoors both when adopted. • Shedding: 5-6 • Food Allergies: No. • Walking Manner: in training and improving! • Bathing/Brushing: Good • Bark or Howl: Barks a little bit toward strangers • Likes & Dislikes: She likes going for walks, playing with toys, and chewing stuff. / She doesn’t like being kept in confined spaces. • Note: She has had two of her toes removed due to blocked circulation of blood caused by blankets tangled around her toes. She's been fully recovered and now fine walking and jumping!

Story
❗Current Location: in a foster home in South Korea❗ • Rescue Story : Meet Jinyea👋 This laid-back sweetheart was found wandering alone on a street in South Korea when she was just three months old. Sadly, she ended up in a high-risk shelter and on the euthanasia list. Thankfully, the rescue team stepped in just in time, giving her a second chance at life. After spending over two years in a private shelter, Jinyea moved into her loving foster home in December 2024. Now, she’s ready to find her forever family! • Personality: Affectionate, Adaptable, Calm Jinyea is a total lovebug—gentle and sweet with everyone she meets. While she might need a little extra time to warm up to men, all she really wants are some good pets! She’s also one of the most easygoing pups you’ll meet, with a mid-to-low energy level. At home, she’s happiest resting and taking it easy. Her resilient nature means she adjusts quickly to new environments, so she’ll likely settle into her forever home without a hitch. • Affinity with -Cats: She's curious about cats when she sees them on walks. -Dogs: Well-mannered and submissive around other dogs. She gets along well with the resident dog in her foster home. -Adults/Kids: Good with adults. For men, she might need a little extra time to warm up. / Not much interested in kids during walks • Housetrained: She's fully housebroken and does her business both indoors (pee pads) and outdoors. • Walking Manner: This girl is a dream on a leash—she walks gently and matches your pace. • Shedding: 5-7 • Food Allergies: No • Car Rides: Good • Barker or Quiet: She's very quiet most of the time except when she hears suspicious sounds outside the door. • Separation Anxiety: She howls for a few minutes right after her most intimate person goes outside and rests calmly. This gets better as she learns the family routine. • Bathing/Brushing: She's a champ when it comes to baths and brushing! • Likes & Dislikes: She likes to play with a ball! She adores snuggling up with cozy blankets and cushions. / Not a fan of being left alone!

Story
** Current location: in a foster home in South Korea ** Meet Silvia👋 Silvia’s story began when she was found wandering the streets of Paju at just three months old. In March 2022, she and her sisters ended up in a high-kill shelter. Thankfully, they were rescued just in time! While one of her sisters had a chance to stay in a foster home, Silvia spent over two years in a crowded shelter, waiting for her chance at a forever home. Now, she‘s eager to finally find a family of her own! • Personality: Sweet, Cheerful, Chill Silvia may be a little shy at first, but she quickly warms up and has a playful, cheerful personality! She can get along with men, as long as they approach her slowly. She loves squeezing between people’s legs for some extra affection! She can be a bit barky when she’s unsure and may nip if startled☝️ / Her energy level is moderate—she enjoys playing but also loves her naps. • Affinity with - Dogs: Silvia plays well with other dogs at the shelter! - Cats: Not tested - Adults/Kids: She may be a big shy at first but becomes friendly to anyone including men quickly / Not tested with children. • Walking Manners: Despite her limited experience with walks, Silvia does amazingly well on a leash and follows along nicely! • Housetrained: She‘ll need work on potty training. We recommend regular walks to encourage outdoor potty habits over using pee pads. • Baths/Brushing: As for grooming, Silvia’s a star—she’s great with baths and brushing! • Car Sickness: Not experienced with cars yet. • Separation Anxiety: none • Barks/Howls: She occasionally barks at unfamiliar/scary things for her. • Appetite/Food Allergies: Eats good / No food allergies • Shedding level (1~10): 5-6 • Likes/Dislikes: She likes to go under people’s legs! Also, she loves to play with tennis balls! / She is not a big fan of being confined in a small space.

Story
To learn more about Bodey, please get in touch with his foster parent at michaelaturco@gmail.com Bodey is a vibrant, high-energy German Shepherd who embraces life with enthusiasm and a love for adventure. True to his breed, this strikingly handsome pup thrives on activity and needs both mental and physical stimulation to stay content. With his boundless zest for life and eager-to-please nature, Bodey is an incredibly intelligent and trainable dog who has already mastered several commands. Whether it's fetching a ball, going for long walks, or hiking in the woods, he is always ready for action! Despite his lively puppy-like personality, Bodey is a loyal and dedicated dog who loves to be near his people. He’s often found at your side, napping nearby or occasionally trying to curl up in your lap for some affection. Once he warms up to you, Bodey is playful and affectionate, but he doesn’t demand constant attention—he’s independent when he needs to be, but you might get a big, goofy kiss from him if he gets a little too excited! Bodey absolutely loves chew toys/tennis balls, a good nap, and especially long walks, ideally in the woods where he can explore to his heart’s content. He’s a very strong guy who’s still learning to manage his impulses and excitability, particularly when it comes to seeing other dogs while out on walks (he’s just so eager to make new doggy friends!). In the home, Bodey has made significant progress with his training and is house-trained and crate-trained, and he even puts himself to bed each night. His protective instincts make him a great companion, but he also requires an owner who understands his need for exercise and structure and can adequately provide that to him. His ideal home would be an active one with a good-sized, fully high-fenced yard for him to run around in to help burn off some of his energy. Prior experience owning a German Shepherd or a similar high-energy breed is a plus. Bodey would thrive in a patient, stable environment—one without cats—where he can continue to grow and learn. With plenty of exercise, consistent training, and the right loving home, Bodey will be the most loyal, loving companion anyone could ask for. If you’re ready to open up your heart and home to an active, adventurous dog, Bodey just might be the perfect match for you!
