Story
Enchanted is looking for a home that understands Shepherds LOVE to be with their people, and that she in particular would like to spend EVERY MINUTE possible with you! This gorgeous girl tested the limits with the other dogs in her previous home, and was on the receiving end of some scuffles, so we are looking to adopt her to a home with no other pets. She has never met cats or children, but she does very well meeting adult strangers, so teenagers would probably also be ok for her.She is a classic Shepherd, steadfastly `patrolling` her environment, checking in on her people to make sure everything is in order, and pausing for some loving pets before moving along to the next. She is making sure our office space is protected and productive!A 5-week Good Manners training course is included in Enchanted`s $350.00 adoption fee. Please call the Adoption Center at 802-476-3811, or email info@centralvermonthumane.org, to schedule a time to talk to an adoption counselor about her, and to determine if you should meet Enchanted.

Story
Seamus came to CVHS when his person was no longer able to care for multiple dogs in the home. This big fluffy boy LOVES being outside, no matter the temperature, and enjoys sniffing and patrolling our yards. He has done really well with everyone he has met here, and has a very gentle temperament. He hasn`t had any exposure to cats or kids, but feel he`d do just fine with kids over 6, with proper introductions. He was involved in a couple scuffles in his prior home, so even though he`s been non-reactive to the other dogs here, we feel he would do best being the only pet in the home at this time.Seamus loves to ride in the car, so as long as you can tolerate having the window down, he`d be happy being your traveling sidekick!A 5-week Good Manners training course is included in Seamus` $350.00 adoption fee. Please call the Adoption Center at 802-476-3811, or email info@centralvermonthumane.org, to schedule a time to talk to an adoption counselor about him, and to determine if you should meet Seamus.

Story
Meet Lolli, the Energetic and Loving Terrier! This playful 6-month-old spayed girl is searching for an active, experienced family to call her own. Lolli is full of life and loves to run, jump, and explore. She's an intelligent pup who is eager to learn and bond with her new humans. Ideal Home Requirements: No cats or small animals: Lolli has a strong prey drive and would be best suited in a home without them. Fenced yard: A secure outdoor space is essential for her to burn off energy. Another playful dog or doggy daycare: Lolli would thrive in a home with a canine companion or enjoy attending daycare. Very active family: She needs lots of exercise and would do best with owners who enjoy walking, running, or hiking. Children in home are 10+: Lolli is still learning manners and may be a bit mouthy or jumpy, making her a better fit for older children. About Lolli: Endless energy: Lolli is a high-energy dog who loves to play and explore. Some training done: She's already crate-trained and eager to learn new commands. If you're an active family looking for a loyal and energetic companion, Lolli might be the perfect fit for you! Loving and affectionate: Despite her playful energy, Lolli is a sweet and loving companion. Lolli's genetic tests are back: 25% German Sheperd 25% Alaskan Malamute 25% Siberian Husky 25% Poodle & Golden Retriever   We highly recommend training classes for all of our dogs to get everyone off to a great start. Training recommendations are available. Our adoption fee is $400 which includes age-appropriate vaccines (such as Distemper, Bordetella, Parvo, and Rabies), neutering, worming, microchipping, and health exam. Discount vouchers for training, grooming, and similar dog-related products and services are provided. Thank you for your interest in Lolli—she is a special girl!      December 9, 2024, 7:41 am

Story
Meet Rex! Rex is searching for a new home - no fault of his own.  His current owners are in poor health and looking to move into assisted living. He needs help quickly.  Rex would do best in a home with another dog and/or cat, as he’s used to living with other animals. Young children would be too energetic for Rex, but we think he could do well with older, gentle children.    Rex is 6 yrs old and is guessed to be a Shepard/Husky mix.  Rex is a shy and gentle guy who appreciates having time to warm up to new people and situations.  His sweet nature shines through once he’s comfortable.  Rex is highly food motivated which makes training easier. If you have treats, you are an immediate friend.  He knows “sit”, “paw” and “gentle”.  Rex has mostly been in a fenced area, so will need support and training with his leash walking.   Rex will be neutered prior to going to his new home.   Rex has lived a quiet life so still gets a little nervous in unfamiliar environments or with new people.  He's best introduced slowly and given time to adjust at his own speed.  Rex is not aggressive; he is a sensitive boy and is unsure of himself. He’s still figuring out how to navigate the outside world. He can jump when excited, but with the right training, he'll quickly learn to keep all four paws on the ground!   Rex is ready to bond with a new family who can support him through his journey of becoming the confident, happy pup we know he can be!        December 4, 2024, 8:48 am

Story
Ghost is a strikingly handsome young boy with a strong personality and a heart full of love to share! This confident pup knows what he wants, and he’ll fit perfectly into a home that appreciates his independence and zest for life. Ghost loves being around people and kids, and his playful spirit shines when he’s out and about with his human friends. Ghost does best with female dog companions and would thrive in a home without cats. His ideal family is one that loves to stay active and can match his adventurous energy. If you’re the kind of family that enjoys hiking, jogging, or exploring the outdoors, Ghost will be your loyal sidekick every step of the way. He’s a smart boy who enjoys learning, and he’d love a family dedicated to continuing his training and mental enrichment. If you're ready to welcome a bold, spirited pup into your life, Ghost is ready to be your loyal, lifelong friend! To add Ghost to your family, simply send us an email at springbranchrescue@gmail.com for adoption and fee information. He is wagging his tail and wiggling his butt at just the thought of finding his forever home and his story is just beginning! His next chapter could be with you! Our adoption fee includes transport, all age required shots, microchip, & a health certificate from a licensed veterinarian. We look forward to receiving your application! We will review it shortly and give you a call to set up a phone interview.  We are thrilled to offer transport services every 3 weeks from Houston to the Pacific Northwest, the Midwest, and the East Coast, ensuring that these incredible pets can find their way to you no matter where you are. This makes the adoption process smooth and convenient, allowing you to focus on welcoming your new family member with open arms. Why should you adopt from a Texas Rescue? Because you will be giving one of our many dogs and cats in need a chance for a better future away from a city that has an animal crisis. We are heartbroken each day with the many incredible and loving animals found wandering our streets. So often are these animals dumped, abandoned, or born on the streets and never find a home to call their own. We are giving them the chance that every animal deserves. We know that since you are looking to add a furry family member to your home here, you will provide the love, care, and attention they need to thrive. Thank you for considering adopting and not shopping. ##2218341##
