Story
Meet Kylie: A Survivor, A Mama, A SweetheartKylie’s story begins in the harshest of conditions. Rescued from under an abandoned home on a freezing cold day, this gentle soul was not alone—she was found huddled with her eight puppies, doing everything she could to protect and care for them. Kylie’s nurturing instincts kicked in from the moment she became a mama, showing boundless love and devotion to her little ones. Thankfully, she and her pups were given a second chance when they were rescued and brought into the warmth of a loving foster home. Now, Kylie is ready to share her heart with a family of her own. Despite her tough beginnings, she has blossomed into a calm, loving, and sweet dog who thrives in a home filled with affection and companionship. Kylie is great with children, currently staying with a 6-year-old in her foster home, and she has proven to be patient and gentle. Kids also come over and interact with her puppies on a daily basis and she is just great!Kylie is fully crate-trained and willingly enters her crate, making it a safe, cozy space when needed. She’s also housetrained, and although she’s rarely left alone in her foster home, she does just fine when she is. She walks well on a leash and enjoys car rides, making her an excellent companion for outings. Kylie is not a chewer, so she’s easy to manage indoors, and she’s perfectly content with a routine. One thing to note about Kylie: she is possessive of her food, so she’s best fed separately from other pets. But with this small exception, she is nothing but sweet and loving—always ready for snuggles, belly rubs, and moments of calm companionship.Kylie’s journey from survival to thriving is a testament to her resilience and loving nature. She is looking for a forever home where she can continue to be the wonderful, affectionate dog that she is—bringing joy and warmth to those lucky enough to welcome her into their lives. She so deserves a life filled with attentiveness, long walks and endless affection.Check out her amazing video montages:https://youtube.com/shorts/j2nNz_fV3T8?si=03-nL-0KfFggo1t6https://youtube.com/shorts/IWMtgNsinHc?si=1q-g366O9GQGe9eTAnd her relaxing on the couch with her foster sibling:https://youtu.be/tvHNoRXBI6E?si=sLO-B6kBU6Ig0S4oName: KylieBreed: German Shepherd Dog/CrossbreedSex: FemaleAge: 3 years (estimated)Weight: 67 lbs Spayed/Neutered: YesVaccinations: Up to dateHeartworm: on recent testing Microchipped: YesBASED ON OUR OBSERVATIONS:Good with Children: Over 5Good with Dogs: YesGood with Cats: NoAdoption Fee: $550.00 (includes transport fee when applicable)Location of dog currently: Tennessee IMPORTANT INFORMATION - Paws New England is a foster-based rescue; our dogs reside in various locations throughout the south & New England.
