Story
Rehoming 3 year old shepherd mixed with livestock guardian breed dog. Neutered male. He’s a great dog. Very loyal and sweet. He’s a big boy at around 75-80 lbs. Looking for an active person or someone who has some property for him to run and be loved. Would be a nice farm hand. Has had professional training and comes with a free lesson from our trainer. Could do okay with older kids but is large and high energy. Can do well with the right dog— a female of similar size. May be okay with cats— we can cat test if needed. Currently lives on a farm.

Courtesy Post - please contact Jeremy Deguc directly at 541-505-4884. Meet Jackson! Jackson is being fostered with a professional trainer. Jackson is a lovable 3-year-old German Shepherd-Karakachan mix and the definition of a good boy! He’s had extensive training and knows all his basic commands, walking politely on leash and recalling instantly. At around 85 pounds, Jackson is a big, energetic, and athletic pup who thrives in an active household. He loves to train and bond through obedience, so if you enjoy working with your dogs, he’ll be a perfect match! Jackson would do great as an only dog or with a large female canine companion and would flourish in a home with adults or older kids due to his size and energetic nature. Despite his big stature, he’s a big sweetheart who craves affection and loves being told he's a good boy. Given his breed mix, Jackson could also make a fantastic farm dog in the right environment. If you’re looking for a loyal, active, and affectionate companion, Jackson might just be the perfect fit!

Story
Hi, I`m Kopi! I`m about 3 years old and weigh roughly 50 pounds.*I have a behavior waiver that staff will talk to you about when you come to see me*Do you like...Dogs? I have a history of being reactive to dogs at a distance, and may do best as a single dog.Cats? I am looking for a kitty free home!Kids? While friendly I can be reactive and should go to a home with kids old enough to understand this behavior. Recommended kids 13+.Anything else you`d like us to know, Kopi? I`m a nice boy with some nervous energy! I would do best in an active home with people who can spend time exercising with me. I do need some training to make sure I`m being my best self but I`m smart and love to learn so we should all have fun with it!I came into the shelter as a surrender and the above information is all recommendations based on my previous history and the behavior seen at the shelter. Expect to learn more about me after adoption. It is unknown how this animal will do in their new home as all animals can be different with each person. It is important to take this into consideration when thinking about adopting and making sure you are prepared to work with any potential medical or behavior issues that occur after adoption. My adoption fee includes my spay/neuter, current vaccinations, permanent microchip identification, certificate for a free veterinary exam, post-adoption support and more!Thank you for taking the time to learn a little about me! If you think we would be a good match come on down and ask to meet me! I`m looking for my forever home and it could be with you!ADOPTION INFORMATION: If you live in the city of Eugene or in Lane County you will be purchasing a dog license in addition to the adoption fee. You will get to choose between a one year, two year, or three year license. This pet is located at Greenhill Humane Society. 88530 Greenhill Road Eugene, OR 97402 (541) 689-1503. I have a medical release about my teeth that staff will discuss with you further!** Here is what volunteers say about me:`She was nuzzling against me and wanting a lot of love! She even plopped down and rolled onto her back for tummy rubs as I kept petting her. Very sweet dog and a good listener!``She is a great dog, her personality really shines when she is out of the kennel.``Binx is a lovely, gentle dog. She is a joy to spend time with, and her fur is very soft.` **Do you like...Dogs? I am protective over my toys and would prefer to be the only dog in the home. Cats? Staff are not sure I would be successful living with a feline friend.Kids? I have a good history with respectful kiddos. Please bring any kids in the home to meet!Anything else you`d like us to know, Binx?
