Apply at www.streetsavvydogrescue.org. URGENT SITUATION! Star, a dog adopted from Street Savvy Dog Rescue at least 6 yrs ago has turned up AGAIN Roaming the streets last seen with a homeless person. Back in July, we were having trouble getting hold of her owner and finally made the connection and returned her to him. Now we are experiencing a repeat of not being able to get an answer back from him despite repeated calls and texts. Sniff Daycare @sniffdoghotel kindly took her in overnight last night but we had to get her into our foster program and she is not doing well with other dogs in a not very large home with too little enough space to keep her separated properly from the resident three dogs and two cats! IMMEDIATE TEMP FOSTER HOME NEEDED! Star is great with people! TEXT 971-303-9415 THANK YOU COMMUNITY MEMBERS! Streetsavvydogrescue.org

Story
German Shepherd + Belgian Malinois Mix 10 months old Female 50 pounds Kids · 6+ Dogs · Yes Cats · No What My Friends Say About Me: I may be a bit shy at first, but once I feel safe and comfortable, I’ll be your loyal companion, ready to cuddle and share adventures together. I have a gentle, loving personality. I’m known for my sweet, shy smile, and I might even tilt my head when I’m curious about something. I absolutely love to play with other dogs! The Type of Home I’m Looking For: I’d prefer a cat-free home. I’m just not sure how to interact with them, so I’d rather focus on my dog pals! I’d thrive in a home with children over 6. I appreciate a little space when I need it, but I’m always up for gentle play and affection. I’m eager to learn and could benefit from some training to help me build confidence. Positive reinforcement will help me shine! My adoption fee is $300 and includes spay, microchip & registration, leash/collar, food sample, toy & treat packet.

American White Shepherd Mix 5 1/2 months old Male 40 pounds Kids · 5+ Dogs · Yes Cats · Dog savvy cats My friends have great things to say about me! I’m a gentle soul looking for my forever home and a loving companion! I may be a little timid when we first meet, but once I feel safe and secure, my true personality shines through. I really enjoy playing with other dogs! I’m ready to engage in fun games and playtime, I'd love a canine friend at home. The Type of Home I’m Looking For: I’m a bit unsure about cats, so slow and proper introductions are a must if there’s a kitty in your home. I want to make sure we can all be friends! I would do well with respectful and sturdy children 5+. I appreciate having my own space when I need it, but I’m also eager for gentle interactions and companionship. German Shepherd Mix 5 1/2 months old Male 35 pounds Kids · 7+ Dogs · Yes Cats · Dog savvy cats Think of your heart as an open lot...it’s lonely and longing to be filled. Then I arrive and Parker myself in a front-row spot! And voila, just like that your empty heart is full with companionship! There is so much to love about me. Where should I begin? I am sweet, loving, and playful. I get along great with all the other dogs here in my playgroup, I enjoy the attention of older respectful kids and I won’t mind sharing my home with dog-savvy cats who can handle a rowdy pup. I do need some more training when it comes to my manners- I am a puppy after all! I have a good start on house training and I am smart as can be, so if you are good teacher I’ll do my best to be a good student! I love to play with toys and nothing gets my tail wagging like a tasty treat. My name is Parker, and I am ready to parker myself on your heart and never leave. Hey there, pals! The name's Calhoun, and let me tell ya, I'm the life of the party! 🎉 I may be a two- to three-year-old, 70-pound Shepherd, but don't let my size fool ya – I'm a big bundle of joy just waiting to find my forever home! 🐾 I've been hanging out in my foster home for a few months now, and let me tell ya, I've got the seal of approval from my foster dad! He's always raving about how sweet and loving I am, and let's not forget my impressive people skills – I can get along with any pup I meet! 🐶 I've got this knack for diffusing any tense situations with my goofy antics – whether it's rolling around, jumping over things, or wiggling my way into someone's space, I'm all about spreading those good vibes and showing everyone that life's meant to be enjoyed! 😄 Check out my personality in action: https://youtu.be/Nl18hewfB5U Sure, I may look a bit awkward sometimes with my long legs and silly behavior, but trust me, I'm as athletic as they come! I love zooming around and jumping for joy – it's like I've got springs in my paws! 🐾 And let me tell ya, my foster dad gets a kick out of watching me run – my joy is just contagious! 🏃‍♂️ I went and visited my friends home with 6 dogs and 2 teens and they said I did fantastic even with 13 pound dogs! I received an A+ But hey, I'm not just a goofball – I've got some serious house manners too! I'm crate-trained, walk like a champ on leash, and I'm all about those car rides. Plus, I adore kiddos – they're like my favorite playmates! 👶 I'm on the lookout for a forever home where I can be a part of the family and go on all sorts of adventures together. Once we bond, I'll be your trusty sidekick – whether we're exploring the great outdoors or just cuddling up on the couch. And hey, I've got great recall, so you can bet I'll stick close by your side! 🌟 So, if you think I might be the perfect fit for your crew, don't hesitate to reach out to my adoption coordinator. Bean is an energetic and loving dog to her humans, unfortunately she hasn’t been able to get along with the other dogs in the household and outside of it. Countless hours and funds have gone into training and unfortunately I just don’t have the means to fund the process any longer. Bean has gotten along with our cats under supervision but they aren’t alone for more than a few minutes. She is well behaved in the home and knows quite a few commands, however I consider her a teenager who likes to ignore us on occasion lol. Bean needs a loving home with no other dogs. She loves fetch, cuddles, and anything with a squeaker.

I've been in the shelter longer than most and my adoption fee has been paid by someone who loves me.Here's what you need to know about me:I can be shy in new spaces and when meeting new people. I need a family who will let me take things at my own pace as I learn about new things. Once I come out of my shell, I have lots of love to give.I need to be the only dog in my new home. Sharing my home and stuff with another dog just isn't for me, but I might be able to have play dates with dogs I'm friends with! My human friends at the shelter can tell you more.I'm not on the general adoption floor. You might not see me when you come to visit. So please speak to an adoption counselor if you'd like to meet me.I'm currently in foster and ready for my new home! If you're interested in meeting me, please email adoptions@southwesthumane.org. Great news! My adoption fee has been paid by someone who loves me and wants me to find a great home. Here's what you need to know about me:I'm easy going. Wanna go for a walk? Okay. Hang out in the yard? No problem. Just relax on the couch? I can do that. I'm pretty happy to go at your pace and I don't really need much more than most dogs do. If you're looking for a steady companion, I'm all yours. It's recommended I meet any dogs or kids living in my new home before I'm adopted. I just want to make sure we all get along.I need a home without cats. Story
The list goes on and on about all the amazing qualities Miss Sable brings to the table. I don’t think there is enough writing space to list it all out but we’ll try. First things first! You have to know how much Sable loves people and affection! Sable is a people-lover through and through, always seeking attention and affection from those around her. Watch her video and you’ll see exactly what we are talking about!! https://youtu.be/R-chtCDuXtw?si=Z2MDXaHwD0FF21fK Did you see what we mean?! Sable is a people’s dog and potentially even a family dog. She is so patient and gentle with kids. In her eyes, any affection is good affection. She was with kids as young as 4 years old to 14 years old and was a gentle queen letting them hug on her, brush her, dress her up, etc. I’m sure she would have let them paint her nails too if it led to that. So if that video didn’t seal the deal, let me tell you a little bit more about Sable and why you should adopt her. You already know she’s great with kids and is so gentle with them but she is also incredibly smart and savvy! She is the type of dog that you could teach any trick and she would get the gold star buzzer from the America’s Got Talent judges. She’s that smart!! So if you love training and teaching your new dog some cool tricks, you need to adopt Sable. It would also be in her best interest for her adopter to have a general knowledge and understanding about her suspected breed. We believe Sable is a Belgian Malinois mix approximately 5 years old and currently weighs 55lbs and is full grown. She is a rescue dog and with any rescue, it’s always a mystery and we cannot guarantee breed or age. Sable is also potty and crate trained and can go at least 14 hours overnight without any accidents nor do you hear a peep out of her! She truly is a lady. Sable loves to explore and she’s the best companion to take on adventures and to take for walks. She is gentle on a leash, only pulling every so often when she gets excited about something but responds so beautifully to corrections. You’ll catch her checking in with you from time to time on her walks as well. Sable is also a lady when she passes by other dogs when she is out and about. A quick hello and she’s off exploring the next sniff spot. She has a perfectly balanced energy where she can join you for hikes, adventures, long walk or even a run and then after will be the most relaxed girly at home snuggling on the couch with you watching tv or laying by your feet chewing on a toy. She’s got the whole package! She even loves to go socialize at events! So if you’re a person that wants to be able to take your pup to the coffee shop, pickle ball, or even a sports grill/restaurant to watch Sunday football or meet with some friends. She is the perfect date. Sable is dog friendly and does great when she is around other mellow dogs that she meets. She has been in many play groups but isn’t too interested in playing with other dogs. She’d much rather be loving on her person or learning a new trick. Which is why we believe she would be best as your only furry companion in the home including cats. Sable would also love a home that has a backyard where she can romp around when she pleases, soak up the sun on a relaxing day, and to hangout with her new family. We are willing to test Miss Sable with anything you need us to in order to ensure she is the perfect match for you! We can make anything happen! Just let us know. If you're ready to welcome an outgoing and loving companion into your life, Sable is eager to meet you and show you just how special she is Application link https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/664c1374b87f4b0cd7071a53 Please email jacquelynn@threelittlepittiesrescue.org with any questions! Story
Looking for a serious, responsible, loving person to adopt this girl. She is a beautiful, loyal, lovey dog who is great in the home. She gets attached and loves her person. She needs a lot of exercise & attention. She is amazing in the home. She can stay alone in the home for a reasonable amount of time, she is crate trained, knows many commands, and is overall a smart & well mannered dog. She is a Belgian Malinois and a typical one, so those who are not familiar with this breed need to know all about this breed and know for sure that this is the breed for them. A new owner must be seriously prepared for the amount of exercise, training and attention this dog needs to be a great dog. We are looking to rehome her to someone who has a yard she can run in, play fetch, and someone who is willing to spend a lot of time with her.

Story
Gigi is a beautiful 3-year-old Belgian Malinois with a heart full of love and energy. She’s a sweet lady who thrives on companionship and is happiest when she’s by your side. Whether it's cuddling on the couch or sleeping in bed at night, Gigi is your ultimate attached-at-the-hip friend. Devastatingly, Gigi’s owner unexpectedly passed away Gigi is great with other high-energy dogs, though she can be a bit protective of her food and treats. She might growl a little, but she’s never shown aggression towards other dogs. Jay took her to work every day, and she loved being able to be with him all the time. Gigi has been wonderful with kids as young as 3yo. Gigi is crate-trained, incredibly smart, and eager to please. We do however recommend a home with no cats.
