Apply at www.streetsavvydogrescue.org. URGENT SITUATION! Star, a dog adopted from Street Savvy Dog Rescue at least 6 yrs ago has turned up AGAIN Roaming the streets last seen with a homeless person. Back in July, we were having trouble getting hold of her owner and finally made the connection and returned her to him. Now we are experiencing a repeat of not being able to get an answer back from him despite repeated calls and texts. Sniff Daycare @sniffdoghotel kindly took her in overnight last night but we had to get her into our foster program and she is not doing well with other dogs in a not very large home with too little enough space to keep her separated properly from the resident three dogs and two cats! IMMEDIATE TEMP FOSTER HOME NEEDED! Star is great with people! TEXT 971-303-9415 THANK YOU COMMUNITY MEMBERS! Streetsavvydogrescue.org

Story
German Shepherd + Belgian Malinois Mix 10 months old Female 50 pounds Kids · 6+ Dogs · Yes Cats · No What My Friends Say About Me: I may be a bit shy at first, but once I feel safe and comfortable, I’ll be your loyal companion, ready to cuddle and share adventures together. I have a gentle, loving personality. I’m known for my sweet, shy smile, and I might even tilt my head when I’m curious about something. I absolutely love to play with other dogs! The Type of Home I’m Looking For: I’d prefer a cat-free home. I’m just not sure how to interact with them, so I’d rather focus on my dog pals! I’d thrive in a home with children over 6. I appreciate a little space when I need it, but I’m always up for gentle play and affection. I’m eager to learn and could benefit from some training to help me build confidence. Positive reinforcement will help me shine! My adoption fee is $300 and includes spay, microchip & registration, leash/collar, food sample, toy & treat packet.

Story
American White Shepherd Mix 5 1/2 months old Male 40 pounds Kids · 5+ Dogs · Yes Cats · Dog savvy cats My friends have great things to say about me! I’m a gentle soul looking for my forever home and a loving companion! I may be a little timid when we first meet, but once I feel safe and secure, my true personality shines through. I really enjoy playing with other dogs! I’m ready to engage in fun games and playtime, I'd love a canine friend at home. The Type of Home I’m Looking For: I’m a bit unsure about cats, so slow and proper introductions are a must if there’s a kitty in your home. I want to make sure we can all be friends! I would do well with respectful and sturdy children 5+. I appreciate having my own space when I need it, but I’m also eager for gentle interactions and companionship. I could benefit from some positive reinforcement training to help me build confidence and learn new skills. Story
Bean is an energetic and loving dog to her humans, unfortunately she hasn’t been able to get along with the other dogs in the household and outside of it. Countless hours and funds have gone into training and unfortunately I just don’t have the means to fund the process any longer. Bean has gotten along with our cats under supervision but they aren’t alone for more than a few minutes. She is well behaved in the home and knows quite a few commands, however I consider her a teenager who likes to ignore us on occasion lol. Bean needs a loving home with no other dogs. She loves fetch, cuddles, and anything with a squeaker.

Story
Hey there, pals! The name's Calhoun, and let me tell ya, I'm the life of the party! 🎉 I may be a two- to three-year-old, 70-pound Shepherd, but don't let my size fool ya – I'm a big bundle of joy just waiting to find my forever home! 🐾 I've been hanging out in my foster home for a few months now, and let me tell ya, I've got the seal of approval from my foster dad! He's always raving about how sweet and loving I am, and let's not forget my impressive people skills – I can get along with any pup I meet! 🐶 I've got this knack for diffusing any tense situations with my goofy antics – whether it's rolling around, jumping over things, or wiggling my way into someone's space, I'm all about spreading those good vibes and showing everyone that life's meant to be enjoyed! 😄 Check out my personality in action: https://youtu.be/Nl18hewfB5U Sure, I may look a bit awkward sometimes with my long legs and silly behavior, but trust me, I'm as athletic as they come! I love zooming around and jumping for joy – it's like I've got springs in my paws! 🐾 And let me tell ya, my foster dad gets a kick out of watching me run – my joy is just contagious! 🏃‍♂️ I went and visited my friends home with 6 dogs and 2 teens and they said I did fantastic even with 13 pound dogs! I received an A+ But hey, I'm not just a goofball – I've got some serious house manners too! I'm crate-trained, walk like a champ on leash, and I'm all about those car rides. Plus, I adore kiddos – they're like my favorite playmates! 👶 I'm on the lookout for a forever home where I can be a part of the family and go on all sorts of adventures together. Once we bond, I'll be your trusty sidekick – whether we're exploring the great outdoors or just cuddling up on the couch. And hey, I've got great recall, so you can bet I'll stick close by your side! 🌟 So, if you think I might be the perfect fit for your crew, don't hesitate to reach out to my adoption coordinator. Let's make some memories together! 🏡 Adoption Link: https://adopt.animalsfirst.com/animal/62cc8e128b02916730334440/64a486df313b01bb73070287 Questions? We have over 15,000 successful adoptions so far and have excellent Google Reviews: https://g.co/kgs/UQ5Pyai We care deeply about making the perfect match between dog and family for long term success. Our rescue has a 2 acre property in Texas where we assess every animal with trainers on staff, we modify behavior as needed, and create individualized behavior plans to help prepare dogs for their future families including crate training, potty training, leash walking, etc. Our fosters are able to attend group trainings and socialization play groups to keep dogs adoption-ready. Our on-site trainers support the positive growth of our dogs and we enjoy seeing their progress! Our commitment to comprehensive medical care sets us apart. We've received glowing feedback from veterinarians who commend our dedication to ensuring the health and well-being of every animal in our care with treatments that often go above and beyond. Our adoption fees reflect the extensive care and resources that go into each animal we save. The adoption fee is a donation to the mission and goes far beyond getting a fully vetted pet. The rescue’s hard costs alone for a healthy dog to go through our program typically range between $412 to $859, which includes boarding, food, medications, vaccines, and spay/neuter. For heartworm-positive dogs, hard costs are upwards of $1,120. Additionally, dogs requiring extended boarding, extra training, or extra medical care—such as dental work, vision care, or orthopedic care—can lead to expenses running into the thousands. Also, included in the fee are costs to cover transport up to the Pacific Northwest or East Coast. While adoption fees help cover part of these expenses, we want to emphasize that Three Little Pitties Rescue is not government funded. It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these SPECIAL PERKS: Extensive behavioral testing and information from trainers on our staff to ensure the perfect fit for your family Discounts on Embark DNA test kit- $30 off of Breed ID test & $50 off of Breed ID plus Health test 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion A free private online dog training session with GoodPup, plus low pricing for future sessions 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a delicious PNW based fresh dog meatballs subscription Coupons for a fun visit to Petco 20% off of Dr. Cuddles pet first aid and hygiene solutions Discounted heartworm, flea prevention, and monthly dewormer Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! Did you know that the Greater Houston area faces some of the highest stray and overpopulation rates in the nation? We are a non profit charity. Our goal is simple— to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and by rescuing animals from the streets or overcrowded shelters where euthanasia due to lack of space is often the only option. The dog you've found online is not only lucky to be in our program, but also incredibly fortunate to have caught your eye. Thank you for considering adoption and for joining us in our mission!
