PSIRUS My name is Psirus 😊 I am a 4 yr. old Shepard/Husky mix, about 50 lbs., potty trained and neutered. I had a tougher start to life, where I was homeless most my life. My owners were homeless, but they really did love me, but I always wanted my own home, yard to run in and other dogs to play with. I am a very happy and playful boy. I can be a bit slow and shy to warm up to new people and new spaces (due to my poor vision) but once I warm up I love to play keep away and jump around! Also, once I get to know you, I will gladly chat away with you! I am very friendly to new dogs and animals and I’m good at respecting their boundaries and listening when they tell me enough as well. She came to us as an owner surrender due to an illness in her previous family, who could no longer give her the time and attention she deserves. Bella is a high-energy, intelligent girl who thrives on connection. More than anything, she wants her person—someone she can bond deeply with and stay close to throughout the day. She does experience some separation anxiety, which comes from how much she loves and attaches to her human. If you’re familiar with German Shepherds or Belgian Malinois, you’ll recognize so many of the traits that make these breeds special—devotion, sensitivity, intelligence, and a strong desire to be by your side. Bella embodies all of that and more. She enjoys playing and can live with other dogs, especially medium to large ones, but she does need a little time to warm up. The same goes for people—Bella may take a few days to come out of her shell. But once she feels safe and trusts you, her true personality shines, and it’s something really special. Her love runs deep, and her bond is incredibly rewarding. She did very well when we tested her with cats so she should be good in a home with cats, with proper introductions.
