Story
Gypsy is approximately 2 yo., 60 lbs. She is extremely people oriented and will be the most faithful companion to her person/family. She's relatively calm for a shepherd. She loves to go on her walks and will be a fantastic hiking companion. She could also be a great running partner. Gypsy does well in her crate, walks well on leash, and is potty trained. She knows basic obedience and we've started her on "place" work. She gets along well with other dogs after slower introductions. She is a more rough and rowdy player and should be matched to a dog that has a similar playstyle as otherwise she can come off as a bit too much. She's physical and uses her paws and body a lot to play so another dog that plays similarly would be best. She doesn't have much of a food or toy drive and truly enjoys the company of her people most. We think she could go to a home with respectful children. Gypsy was found in a school yard and we can see why. She probably loved the attention she got from all the children there. Gypsy, like all dogs, will benefit from a home with structure, rules, and boundaries. She is a wonderful, loving dog and will be an awesome best friend to many who've had a dog in their lives before.  All of our adult dogs are spayed/neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, and flea treated. They all receive training to make the transition as successful as possible. If you're interested in a meet, you must fill out an application on our website www.wallflowersshine.com/application. We always post updates and many videos of our dogs on our IG page, the_wallflowers_shine_project, under “stories” and “highlights”. Thank you for your interest in one of our dogs.

** I still need to be spayed so when my forever family decides to adopt me, I will be placed on hold. Then you can come pick me up after my surgery. **Hi, I`m Luna! I`m about 8 months old and weigh 50 pounds. Do you like...Dogs? I`ve lived with a dog previously but appear nervous towards new dogs here at the shelter. I may do okay with a friendly dog that is similar in size to me. Please bring all dogs in the home with you when you come to meet me. Cats? My previous owner said that I will chase cats and small animals and should not live with them. Kids? I`ve done well with children in my previous home and would like to start out meeting kiddos who can be gentle with me. Anything else you`d like us to know, Luna? I`m a young, shy, inexperienced pup looking for a family that will be patient with me as I learn about the great big world and blossom into the best dog ever! Story
Meet Thor Introducing Thor, the big and friendly dog with a heart of love! This squishy pup is a great companion for anyone who loves big, playful dogs. Thor is a natural social butterfly and loves spending time with other dogs, making him a great fit for households with multiple pets. He loves being in the house and is quick to make himself at home. Thor is being fostered in a home in Seguin, TX and is available to adopt out of state but needs to be an only dog as a meet and greet is required. Thor is a dog who's always up for an adventure, and he particularly loves car rides. He jumps into the car with ease and settles in for the ride, making him the perfect companion for road trips and outings with the family. With his love for exploration, we recommend a high fence for this big boy. But Thor isn't just about fun and games; he's also a well-trained pup who knows how to sit and walks well on a leash. He's always eager to learn new things and is a quick study. With his love of learning and eagerness to please, Thor is a great candidate for agility training. While in the house, Thor is content in a kennel or just laying on the couch. And let's not forget, Thor loves attention and is a big snuggler. Whether it's curling up on the couch for a movie night or cuddling in bed, Thor loves being close to his humans and soaking up all the love and affection. In short, Thor is a big and friendly dog who's always ready for fun and adventure. If you're looking for a loyal and playful companion who's great with other pets, loves car rides, and enjoys a good snuggle, then Thor is the perfect fit for you! Story
Zoey is the sweetest girl. We have been fostering her since early August. She is a happy and healthy 3 year old that is 65 pounds and has a very gentle disposition. She doesn’t need to be crated when you leave or go to bed. She powers down and naps when left alone. She likes to cuddle and sleep on the bed at night. Zoey really adores children too. She is cooperative and mellow but also very enthusiastic when it’s called for. She doesn’t bark unless there’s a reason and she stops when told. Not an aggressive dog either. Her and my corgi mix are best buddies and wrestle a lot, she always lets him win☺️. No destructive behaviors or problems to mention. She is easy to manage for me and we go off leash every day. She learns fast from watching my dogs and makes good decisions. She likes swimming-fetching and chasing squirrels. Her last owners had chickens-ducks-geese-turkeys-cats-dogs and they all lived in harmony. Somebody is going to luck out big time with this dog. 🤍💫🙏🌈

Story
Badger is the sweetest dog I have ever known. I lucked out when I picked him up from Lucky Paws Rescue for my children, but Badger wasn't as lucky in being picked by us. Shortly after Badger joined our family I found employment outside of Eugene and have a two-hour commute every day. Badger was fine with my kids and their grandmother, especially as our former residence had a small back yard. We moved to an apartment, my mother no longer lives with us, and badger is now forced to be alone all day, crated and lonely, while me and my children commute to Corvallis everyday where they attend school and after school care, and I work until 5. Badger is too sweet and intelligent to have to endure such a solitary life. He is 11 months old and is at his best playing in the dog park with other dogs of all sizes, or going for swims, which is his favorite pastime. Badger is extremely intelligent, loving and always ready to chase a ball. Badger needs a yard and an active owner.
