My adoption fee has been sponsored by RV Outlet and is only $50!Hi, I`m Koda! I have shown to be a very sweet boy who will lean my face into your hands for pets. I`m looking for an active, loving forever family!Do you like dogs? I do. I can come on strong and not all dogs appreciate that. Please bring any dogs in the home to meet!Cats? I am a high energy guy and have a bit of a prey drive. I would not be successful in a home with cats. Kids? I`m a big boy and may accidentally knock over little kiddos. Please bring any kids in the home to meet. 8+I`m about 1.5 years old and weigh 64 pounds.I came into the shelter as a stray and the above information is all recommendations based on my behavior seen at the shelter. I have no known history. Expect to learn more about me after adoption. It is unknown how this animal will do in their new home as all animals can be different with each person. It is important to take this into consideration when thinking about adopting and making sure you are prepared to work with any potential medical or behavior issues that occur after adoption. My adoption fee includes my spay/neuter, current vaccinations, permanent microchip identification, certificate for a free veterinary exam, post-adoption support and more!Thank you for taking the time to learn a little about me! If you think we would be a good match come on down and ask to meet me! I`m looking for my forever home and it could be with you!ADOPTION INFORMATION: If you live in the city of Eugene or in Lane County you will be purchasing a dog license in addition to the adoption fee. You will get to choose between a one year, two year, or three year license. This pet is located at Greenhill Humane Society. 88530 Greenhill Road Eugene, OR 97402 (541) 689-1503. Hi, I`m River! I`m about 10 months old and weigh 52 pounds. I`m looking for a specific home that has experience with German Shepherds and/or highly undersocialized dogs. I`m a very sweet lady with endless potential, but I will need the right home to flourish in! Kennel staff will discuss this with you further.Do you like...Dogs? I do. I can be nervous meeting new dogs, but may benefit from having another canine pal in my forever home. Please bring any dogs in the home to meet!Cats? It is NOT recommended that I live with cats. I think they are a lot of fun and can`t help but chase them.Kids? I can be slow to warm up to new folks and would like to live with kiddos 12+.I came into the shelter as a stray and the above information is all recommendations based on my behavior seen at the shelter. Then you can come pick me up after my surgery. **Do you like...Dogs? I`ve been neutral meeting new dogs. Please bring any dogs in the home to meet!Cats? My history is a mystery and staff are not sure I would be successful living with a feline friend.Kids? I`d like to start out meeting kiddos 10+.Anything else you`d like us to know, Binx? Duke was found on 3/25/25 at Hwy 99 & Blair Blvd. He came into the shelter not yet neutered. If you believe this is your missing dog, please contact the shelter at (541) 689-1503. Since this dog is new to the shelter and we are still looking for their family, they are not viewable on the adoption floor at this time. The shelter staff is giving me some time to settle in and adjust to this new place. As we get to know each other a little better, the behavior team and veterinary staff will then be evaluating my needs. Please stay tuned for my updated information! Our shelter software requires that we choose a primary breed for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs can be unreliable and for most dogs we are only guessing at their primary breed. We get to know each dog as an individual and do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not breed label. This pet is located at Greenhill Humane Society. 88530 Greenhill Road, Eugene, OR 97402 (541) 689-1503. Story
Meet Sybill! 6 years old and full of energy, she loves to do full body rolls and is VERY snuggly. She loves to cuddle up, give head to chest hugs, and kisses. She loves to play catch and tug-of-war. She likes being mentally stimulated with food/treat puzzles and practicing commands. She loves chest and butt scratches, head pets, and behind the ear rubs. She is a ham for photos and will give all the best poses with her paws crossed and big doe eyes. Sybill has been through different trainers over the years, but ultimately, we’ve just been not well equipped to train her well or had a good living situation for her to thrive in. All this being said, she is a wonderful dog and I believe she has the capacity to live a fulfilling, happy life! My lease is ending and I do not have the proper time to dedicate to her, and my next space doesn’t allow dogs.

Story
Melbourne is a German Shepherd/Cattle Dog mix with a calm demeanor and an adventurous spirit. He is currently being fostered at an indoor/outdoor boarding facility in Seguin, TX, but he’s eagerly awaiting a foster or adoptive home where he can thrive. Melbourne is an affectionate dog who bonds deeply with his people and enjoys being part of their lives. Whether it’s joining you for a hike, exploring a new trail, or simply hanging out in the backyard, he’s always ready for an adventure. His laid-back nature makes him easy to have around, but he also has the energy and enthusiasm to keep up with an active lifestyle. Although Melbourne is friendly with other dogs, he would do best as the only dog in his home, where he can soak up all the attention. He thrives in a structured environment and would be a perfect match for someone who enjoys an active lifestyle and is looking for a loyal companion to share it with. Melbourne’s calm and adaptable nature means he can settle in easily, whether it’s a relaxed evening at home or an exciting day out. He’s looking for a family or individual who will appreciate his affectionate personality and adventurous side. If you’re ready to provide Melbourne with the loving home he deserves, he’s ready to fill your life with companionship, joy, and plenty of memorable adventures. I am a big boy with a heart of gold, but it does take me a minute to see if we should be friends...I choose my friends wisely. I was left tied to a door at SafeHaven and after working with Linn County Animal Control, SafeHaven said I could stay, promising to help me find a new home! I am working on my leash manners, and am still learning how best to play with others. I am eager to be placed in playgroups, but can be intimidating due to my size. It`s just 114 pounds of pure love! I am always excited to meet new friends, and would love for you to be one of them; I promise to be the best boy I can. Come by to see me today!

Adoption Fee: $50.00Weight: 32.3lbsArrival Date: 8/9/24Microchip #: 941010002225504Meet Ross! This sweet boy is ready to find an adventurous household. When Ross arrived he was shy and needed time to warm up to people. Now, Ross has been apart of our Doggy Day Out program and has become one of our Rockstars! He is still gaining confidence when it comes to new people and new environments but has made progress. Ross has also been a part of our playgroups with other dogs here at SafeHaven and has done well! As Ross is still young he will need someone to help him learn some basic commands, but he is very intelligent and doing amazing at learning in his foster home. His foster parent says that in the short time Ross has been with him he has already learned several commands and catches onto things incredibly quickly. He`s able to stay home alone with no fuss or mess and while still a bit shy, he has done great with visitors in the home. He enjoys car rides and is doing amazingly well at loose lease walking. If you would like to meet Ross please email fostercare@safehavenhumane.com as he is currently in a loving foster home!

They were found by Delano Animal Control on June 20, 2023, after being abandoned on the outskirts of Delano, CA. This sweet family desperately wants a warm bed where they can lay their heads, a place to cuddle, play, and dream. We are so grateful we were able to give them another chance at forever homes here in Oregon, and we are hopeful this will be the time they finally find unconditional love.
