Story
Meet Thor Introducing Thor, the big and friendly dog with a heart of love! This squishy pup is a great companion for anyone who loves big, playful dogs. Thor is a natural social butterfly and loves spending time with other dogs, making him a great fit for households with multiple pets. He loves being in the house and is quick to make himself at home. Thor is being fostered in a home in Seguin, TX and is available to adopt out of state but needs to be an only dog as a meet and greet is required. Thor is a dog who's always up for an adventure, and he particularly loves car rides. He jumps into the car with ease and settles in for the ride, making him the perfect companion for road trips and outings with the family. With his love for exploration, we recommend a high fence for this big boy. But Thor isn't just about fun and games; he's also a well-trained pup who knows how to sit and walks well on a leash. He's always eager to learn new things and is a quick study. With his love of learning and eagerness to please, Thor is a great candidate for agility training. While in the house, Thor is content in a kennel or just laying on the couch. And let's not forget, Thor loves attention and is a big snuggler. Whether it's curling up on the couch for a movie night or cuddling in bed, Thor loves being close to his humans and soaking up all the love and affection. In short, Thor is a big and friendly dog who's always ready for fun and adventure. If you're looking for a loyal and playful companion who's great with other pets, loves car rides, and enjoys a good snuggle, then Thor is the perfect fit for you! **My adoption fee has been waived! You will still be required to go through adoption counseling and pay for a license.**Hi, I`m Ebby! I`m almost 5 years old and weigh 84 lbs. I`m very shy in the shelter, and when it comes to meeting people - but who can`t relate to being a bit uncertain in new environments? Once I have a few days to get my bearings, I am such a sweet, loyal, goofy pup who is deserving of a second chance at my forever home! Do you like other dogs? I`ve lived with another dog before and seem to prefer dogs that are gentle. Please bring any dogs in the home to meet to see if we hit it off. What do you think about cats? I would do best in a home without small animals or kitties. So how do you feel about kids? I am nervous with new people and would like to start out meeting older kiddos. 12+ I came into the shelter as a surrender and the above information is all recommendations based on my previous history and the behavior seen at the shelter. Story
Sir was found with Man on 12/12/24 at Beacon and Scenic. He is not neutered. If you believe this is your missing dog, please contact the shelter at (541) 689-1503. Since this dog is new to the shelter and we are still looking for their family, they are not viewable on the adoption floor at this time. The shelter staff is giving me some time to settle in and adjust to this new place. As we get to know each other a little better, the behavior team and veterinary staff will then be evaluating my needs. Please stay tuned for my updated information! Our shelter software requires that we choose a primary breed for our dogs. Visual breed identification in dogs can be unreliable and for most dogs we are only guessing at their primary breed. We get to know each dog as an individual and do our best to describe each of our dogs based on personality, not breed label. This pet is located at Greenhill Humane Society. 88530 Greenhill Road, Eugene, OR 97402 (541) 689-1503. Hi, I`m Noel! I`m about 2 years old and weigh 65 pounds. I have a medical release that kennel staff can tell you more about when you come to meet me!** I still need to be spayed so when my forever family decides to adopt me, I will be placed on hold. Then you can come pick me up after my surgery. ***I am part of the Home for the Holidays adoption promotion! My adoption fee has been reduced to $50 until December 31. I would love to ring in the New Year with you!*Do you like...Dogs? I`ve been nervous meeting new dogs at the shelter. Please bring any dogs in the home to meet and we`ll see if we hit it off!Cats? I`m not sure. I would need slow introductions and supervision in order to live with a feline friend.Kids? I`d do best with older kiddos who can be respectful towards me. (12+)Anything else you`d like us to know, Noel? I`m a young and energetic shepherd looking to meet my furever family that I can share all my love with!
