He also enjoys playing with his people.  He prefers tug of war or a squeaky ball,  he loves to fetch when there’s a treat involved, which he will look at your hand first before dropping the ball.  Scooby loves the outdoors and loves playing in water. He is always up for an adventure and loves butt scratches. He is crate trained, has fantastic leash manners, understands sit, lay down, no, come here and does wait until you say go to eat his food although there will be some drool.  Scooby is very smart, eager to please and will do anything for a treat and to be by your side or sitting on your feet or lap.  Scooby's previous owner reports that he played well with other male dogs and does have an allergy to chickenVisit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet. &#226&#150&#186 We do not adopt to Canada  due to border restrictions and breed-specific legislation &#226&#150&#186 We adopt & foster locally only ; within an approximately 55 mile radius of Lockport, NY 14094 USA Adoption donation includes Spay/Neuter, Vaccinations, deworming & flea treatment. Story
Hello my name is Goose,  Silly Goose as my foster mom calls me   I am flying in from Jasper Texas and looking for the perfect family to hang with! I am a Shepard mix, approx 17 weeks old  and weighing in at 14lbs! My siblings and I all arrived here in Buffalo just in time to see some of this white stuff they call snow.   My foster family is teaching me all kinds of stuff like something they call "crate training" and  "potty training". I am working on it and love this stuff they call "treats". Everyone here just gives them to you.   I can be just a bit shy but I love cuddles and pets and running around this big yard with my best bro. I have met so many new people and like them all I get scolded sometimes by this thing my foster mom calls a "cat" so I am working on looking away and finding some of those treat things when he is around. She says I am doing really well. If you would like to help me learn as I grow and make me your new BFF visit our website www.buffalounderdogs.com and fill out an application. In the meantime I will be over here practicing all my puppy skills! ##2254612##

Story
Hey there, Rooster here!!  Don't let my name confuse you though. I am certainly not a bird and I promise I do NOT like to get up at the crack of dawn.  I am a 17 week old Shepard mix puppy and  approx 18 lbs of pure snuggles! I hang during the day with my brother who hitched a ride here to Buffalo with me from Texas and we are having a blast.   I am pretty independent and have to help my bro out with some hard new tricks. You would be amazed at how fast I pick stuff up, like walking on a leash and going in and out of the house in the cold Potty training and crate training have been fun because I get yummy treats, and even for a little guy like me, I hear I am doing great! I just love all the new people I meet.  I have a whole family of people living with me in my foster home and I get along with all of them.   If I am being honest, the resident cats could try a bit harder, I love playing and they are kind of duds. My foster mom has been helping me learn to ignore them. Can't win em all she says.   I really like these people but I know I could be the best new friend to a new family too! To fill out an application visit our website www.buffalounderdogs.com.  I can't wait to meet you!! Xoxo Rooster ##2254614##

Story
Meet Penny! She’s a bright and cheerful puppy with a calm, even temperament. Penny loves to play and run around the yard, but she’s also quick to learn new things. She’s already mastered "give paw" and is making great progress with potty training. She usually goes outside to potty, and if she has an accident indoors, she knows to use her pee pad. Penny does wonderfully in her crate, both overnight and when we’re at work, and she doesn’t make a sound. This sweet, goofy girl is a fan of all kinds of toys and bones, and while she may be a bit shy at first, she quickly opens up once she feels loved and safe. She gets along well with both cats and dogs, and although she hasn't met any children yet, her gentle nature suggests she would thrive in a family environment. Overall, Penny is the perfect little companion! To meet Penny fill out an application at: www.buffalounderdogs.com/adopt  ##2254611##

Meet Phoenix! This sweet 4-month-old puppy is a bundle of joy with a heart full of love. She’s a potty-training pro, making no messes inside, and she's already a social butterfly, getting along wonderfully with the kids and other dogs. When she's sleepy, Phoenix loves to cuddle up for some cozy snuggles! She’s a fan of outdoor play and is already embracing the Buffalo cold like a true champion.  Though she hasn’t met any cats yet, she’s been a fantastic playmate with her resident dog pals. Phoenix is sweet, playful, and always up for attention—just the perfect companion for any family! Meet Phoenix by filling out an application at www.buffalounderdogs.com/adopt  ##2254610##
