I am a purebred German shepherd with papers who I have owned since birth and bought from a reputable seller I am neutered and up to date with my immunizations I just turned 3 years old in March I have been raised with other dogs of different breeds since I was a puppy and a cat. I had no issues I am looking for a home with an experienced handler who knows my breed and I do listen to men better than women. I need a house where I am mainly the only pet and a fenced. In yard to run. I have a lot of energy to burn I am a good boy and my mom loves me dearly but with her job and housing. I am just a lot to handle at this busy point in my mom’s life I can sit and shake and listen to orders given. Just looking for my fur ever home where I can be loved forever. I am currently living in Barton, New York

Booker didn't have the best start in life, but we are determined to make the rest of it the best. Booker loves other dogs, but MUST be dogs his size or larger... no exceptions! He is kenneled trained and housebroken. He is still a little timid of men and kids. Older kids would be best. He will go up to new people, but disengages. Shows absolutely no aggression. He is still learning that he is loves and that he deserves attention. He would like a home on the quieter side. Someone that has patience. He is fantastic with his foster mom. He is being fostered on a farm and is great with most of the animals. He is still learning that sheep are ok and not to be chases. If you think you are the one to give this guy the life he so deserves, please submit an application. He is up to date on vaccines, neutered, microchipped, has been dewormed and flea treated. Meet Tessa - She is a young german shepherd mix who is one very intense girl! In order for Tessa to be happy and thrive in a new home, she needs a lot of mental stimulation, she is very focused and intense, high energy and confident. She would be a good working dog, as she is not your typical house dog. She also would need a fenced yard to keep this very active girl contained. She would do best as the only pet, she needs a lot of activity and exercise. She would not be a good fit with children under the age of 16.

Gunner came to LCSO Dog Control as a surrender. He has got some snow on his chin, but he has still got the heart of a puppy! He knows his basics and walks well on the leash; he also loves car rides! He is very treat motivated, however, he does have some food aggression issues when you're near his food bowl while he is eating. He gets a bit grumpy when he doesn't want to participate in something, so he needs somebody who is patient and willing to work with him on that. Overall, he is a great companion dog and a certified good boy!

Walker is a very loyal dog and listens well. Unfortunately, he hasn’t been comfortable around small children since he was a puppy and it has progressively gotten worse. (Showing teeth, hair standing up when child tries to pet or goes near food) he has not bitten any person up to this point. He also has had overly aggressive fights with other male dogs. He would do very well in a household without children and other pets.
