Story
IDGSR Welcomes HARLEY into the safety of the rescue!! THIS DOG IS FOSTERED IN TENNESSEE & AVAILABLE FOR TRANSPORT ************** Hey Y'all! My name is Harley and I'm a sweet 7yr old female German Shepherd. I am located in Greeneville TN and am available for transport! I was adopted from IDGSR back in 2017 when I was just a puppy and had lived with the same family the entire time. Due to life changes, the family brought me back to the rescue. The rescue is committed to finding me a forever home! Here are some fun facts about me & my ideal home! 1. I'm sweet, low energy, loving, gentle, and friendly - I'm basically perfect! 2. I absolutely LOVE to swim! Check out my video of me swimming and the pictures of me on a boat. I hope you'll take me swimming when you adopt me. 3. I am KID FRIENDLY! I have been around kids ages newborn, 2 & 6yrs old. I am gentle and patient with them. Remember, it is best to teach kids the proper way to be around a dog even tho I am kid friendly. 4. My ideal home would be with a loving person or family, a home with *no* cats or small dogs. I would do just fine as an only dog or with a large male dog. 5. I'm a senior gal and know several commands. I know 'come', 'down', 'sit', 'shake', and I can walk on a leash! 6. Even tho I know several commands, it would be nice to have an obedience refresher. It will also help us bond together. 7. I am house & crate trained. I haven't been in a crate since I was a puppy. 8. If you are looking for a loving companion, one who will help keep you active yet relaxed, be your best friend, and most loyal bestie - I'm your girl! My name is Astra and I'm a beautiful German Shepherd/Malinois mix who is 11-12months. I'm located near Greeneville TN and will be available for transport. Here are some fun facts about me & my ideal home! 1. I was surrendered to this great rescue after our home could no longer care for us. I was living in a travel trailer, crated most of the day, and not able to live a very good life. 2. Now that I have space to run and play, I'm learning what it's like to be a dog and be playful. 3. I am a little behind socially, mainly because I was kept crated most of the day and not interacted with. Since being in the rescue, my confidence is growing. Will you paw-promise to be patient with me and help build my confidence? 4. I have HIGH energy! I love to run, play, and explore everything! I need a safe fenced in backyard to run and play in. 5. I'm a single mom. My pups have all been adopted and I have BIG dreams of going on adventures! Do you like walking, hiking, running, swimming, or chasing waterfalls? Me too! Let's go on cool trips together, especially this fall! 6. I need the standard training of basic & advanced obedience. I am a young gal who has lots of energy & I need to learn how to harness it. Will you paw-promise to train me to my fullest potential? 7. My ideal home is with a loving person or family. If you have a friendly large male dog, I'm sure we will get along. If you have kids, I'd do best with ones over the age of 10yrs old. Also, *no* cats or small dogs please. 8. My name is Coraline & I'm the most lovey dovey 11-month old German Shepherd mix gal you'll ever meet! I am located near Greeneville TN and will be available for transport. Here are some facts about me & my ideal home! 1. I was confiscated by local law enforcement when I was just a baby due to animal cruelty. I didn't do anything to deserve the cruel treatment I endured as a baby. 2. From the time I was 12-weeks old, I have grown up in a small shelter, living in a small kennel, with not much interaction. Thankfully IDGSR saved me & now I'm living the good foster life on the farm while I wait to be adopted! 3. My foster mom says I'm an absolutely LOVELY girl! I have a tremendous amount of love to give & I desperately want a family of my own. 4. I'm CAT FRIENDLY!! I’m really good with kids, even the little ones! I'd be the best FAMILY dog! 5. I need some obedience training to teach me some manners. Like all good girls, I will learn anything you can teach me. Will you paw-promise to train me? 6. I play so great with other dogs & would love to have another dog in the home to be my best pal! I have never been around kitties so it's best to keep it that way. 7. I have big dreams of bonding with a person or family, going on lots of walks, eating yummy treats, having a soft bed of my own, playing with toys, and being so loved - could you fulfill my dreams? Story
Please contact Jetta (Jetta.elliott@att.net) for more information about this pet.Three month old male Shepherd mountain cur mixthis little boy reminds us so much of Scooby Doo. We just had to name him Scooby Doo. He is very sweet playful and he’s going to be a large dog! He is 32 pounds at about 12 weeks old he will be neutered before he is adopted out. He was a feral puppy that it took some considerable effort to catch. He is now walking on a leash within two days. He’s become a house puppy and is just sweet and well mannered.Scooby is currently in Harrison, Arkansas, in the care of Ozark Homeward Bound animal rescue. Rescued pups are transported to your location via the rescue network transport. There is no additional fee for the transport. Pups are fully vetted before they are adopted out, which includes all of their vaccinations, microchipping, Spay/neutering etc. before going on transport, they see a vet one last time to receive one last check up and a health certificate so that the pups are easily registered in your state. we look forward to telling you all about this precious little bundle of joy!   November 2, 2024, 2:03 pm
