Story
Hi my name is Nova. I got my name because I was found New Years Eve. Nova the name, means new beginnings and that what this has been for me. New year, new me and new beginning to happy every after. This is my year of no more worries! Some nice people with the rescue got me as I was running up and down the road scared near the highway. They tried to find my owners, but didn't have any luck. Since being saved I have made all kids of friends. SOOOO many look like me! At first, I was a little nervous then realized, I love having friends big and small, human and dog of both. Cats I am not sure about yet as I haven't met one that my rescue knows. I am super smart. My finder says you can see me thinking and processing. I have energy, but am calmer for a GSD, but still love a good walk and fun activities, being smart is strongest superpower. I am crate and house trained as well. Do pretty well on a leash too, but I am not one to brag. I do to a couple day to process my new environment, but that is my big brain processing all the new information as I evaluate the situation to see who my best friend will be and give me the most cuddles and treats. If you are interested in me, please complete the application link below! https://new.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/NAF/Dog I am located in San Antonio, TX, but a video meet and greet is available. Transport is included with out of state adoption along with health certificates to ensure all vetting is current before transport.

Story
Ghost is a strikingly handsome young boy with a strong personality and a heart full of love to share! This confident pup knows what he wants, and he’ll fit perfectly into a home that appreciates his independence and zest for life. Ghost loves being around people and kids, and his playful spirit shines when he’s out and about with his human friends. Ghost does best with female dog companions and would thrive in a home without cats. His ideal family is one that loves to stay active and can match his adventurous energy. If you’re the kind of family that enjoys hiking, jogging, or exploring the outdoors, Ghost will be your loyal sidekick every step of the way. He’s a smart boy who enjoys learning, and he’d love a family dedicated to continuing his training and mental enrichment. If you're ready to welcome a bold, spirited pup into your life, Ghost is ready to be your loyal, lifelong friend! To add Ghost to your family, simply send us an email at springbranchrescue@gmail.com for adoption and fee information. He is wagging his tail and wiggling his butt at just the thought of finding his forever home and his story is just beginning! His next chapter could be with you! Our adoption fee includes transport, all age required shots, microchip, & a health certificate from a licensed veterinarian. We look forward to receiving your application! We will review it shortly and give you a call to set up a phone interview.  We are thrilled to offer transport services every 3 weeks from Houston to the Pacific Northwest, the Midwest, and the East Coast, ensuring that these incredible pets can find their way to you no matter where you are. This makes the adoption process smooth and convenient, allowing you to focus on welcoming your new family member with open arms. Why should you adopt from a Texas Rescue? Because you will be giving one of our many dogs and cats in need a chance for a better future away from a city that has an animal crisis. We are heartbroken each day with the many incredible and loving animals found wandering our streets. So often are these animals dumped, abandoned, or born on the streets and never find a home to call their own. We are giving them the chance that every animal deserves. We know that since you are looking to add a furry family member to your home here, you will provide the love, care, and attention they need to thrive. Thank you for considering adopting and not shopping. ##2218341##

Story
Tennessee is the embodiment of your ideal furry companion. A striking blend of Belgian Malinois and German Shepherd, he's just 2 years old and bursting with energy. Tennessee thrives in a dynamic environment, making him the perfect fit for an active household. Despite his boundless energy, he possesses a gentle nature and remarkable intelligence. If you're seeking a trainable partner, Tennessee is your perfect match. Beyond his exuberance, he knows how to appreciate moments of stillness and enjoys cuddling up with his favorite humans. His luscious black sable fur requires regular brushing to maintain its health and stunning appearance. Tennessee is well-versed in basic commands, walks gracefully on a leash, and has excellent recall and boundaries. While he's tolerant of other dogs, his lack of exposure during his formative years means he's still learning proper pack manners. He's not one to bark unnecessarily, reserving his vocalizations for when something seems amiss. Tennessee is kennel trained, although he's not shy about expressing his dissatisfaction with confinement. Nevertheless, he can be trusted to behave responsibly when left alone at home. Plus, he's up-to-date on vaccinations, microchipped, neutered, and fully housebroken, making him the paw-fect addition to your family.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 5, 2024, 12:11 am

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Taylor is a big, goofy puppy. She is super friendly and playful. Acts more like a shepherd than great pyr. Good with cats, kids and other dogs. Please visit our website for more info on our adoption process and adoption application www.barkdogfarm.org                         Before applying be sure you have thoroughly researched Great Pyrenees.  They can be stubborn, prone to barking, overly protective and cannot be off leash.  You WILL NOT train a pyr to boundaries.  Please be sure all family members are in agreement to adopting and your family is ready to bring dog home now. Applicants must be at least 21 years old. We do not have blanket criteria regarding adoptions. Each applicant is considered based on many things including but not limited to breed experience, yard ( visible fence preferred) and other animals in home. We try to avoid dogs with same sex households as pyrs typically do not do well with the same sex. A volunteer will be in touch to discuss your application and the dog to determine if it is a good match. Your vet and two references will be called.  A virtual home visit done. Once approved a meet and greet at the farm will take place.  If all are in agreement  an adoption contract will be signed and adoption fee paid.  Adoption fees for dogs are $450. for adults over 12 months, $550 for puppies 12 months and younger.  Fees for seniors, special needs or harder to place dogs will be determined by our Board of Directors. All dogs will be altered when adoption is finalized. This may involve young puppies be given until a certain age to be altered. All animals are up to date on age appropriate core vaccines, negative for parasites, heart worm and lyme tested if 6 months or older, microchipped and have a current health certificate.  Proof of a basic obedience course completed is part of our adoption contract within six months. Story
Enchanted is looking for a home that understands Shepherds LOVE to be with their people, and that she in particular would like to spend EVERY MINUTE possible with you! This gorgeous girl tested the limits with the other dogs in her previous home, and was on the receiving end of some scuffles, so we are looking to adopt her to a home with no other pets. She has never met cats or children, but she does very well meeting adult strangers, so teenagers would probably also be ok for her.She is a classic Shepherd, steadfastly `patrolling` her environment, checking in on her people to make sure everything is in order, and pausing for some loving pets before moving along to the next. She is making sure our office space is protected and productive!A 5-week Good Manners training course is included in Enchanted`s $350.00 adoption fee. Please call the Adoption Center at 802-476-3811, or email info@centralvermonthumane.org, to schedule a time to talk to an adoption counselor about her, and to determine if you should meet Enchanted.

Story
Seamus came to CVHS when his person was no longer able to care for multiple dogs in the home. This big fluffy boy LOVES being outside, no matter the temperature, and enjoys sniffing and patrolling our yards. He has done really well with everyone he has met here, and has a very gentle temperament. He hasn`t had any exposure to cats or kids, but feel he`d do just fine with kids over 6, with proper introductions. He was involved in a couple scuffles in his prior home, so even though he`s been non-reactive to the other dogs here, we feel he would do best being the only pet in the home at this time.Seamus loves to ride in the car, so as long as you can tolerate having the window down, he`d be happy being your traveling sidekick!A 5-week Good Manners training course is included in Seamus` $350.00 adoption fee. Please call the Adoption Center at 802-476-3811, or email info@centralvermonthumane.org, to schedule a time to talk to an adoption counselor about him, and to determine if you should meet Seamus.
