Story
Charlie is a gorgeous 1.5-year-old black German Shepherd with a lively personality and a heart full of love. Despite facing challenges early in life, including surgery for hip dysplasia, this brave girl has bounced back beautifully and is ready to embrace her next chapter with an active and loving family.Charlie is rebuilding her strength and will need your support to keep her healthy and happy. Regular vet visits, a low-calorie diet, joint supplements, and possibly ongoing physical therapy will be essential for her continued recovery. But with your care, she’ll thrive and be the loyal companion you’ve always dreamed of.This spirited pup has experience living with another dog and may do well with a calm, laid-back canine companion who complements her energy.Charlie’s a people-lover through and through, greeting new faces with charm and enthusiasm. She’s best suited for a home with older children, as she’s still learning that jumping isn’t the best way to show her affection. Running in the yard and chasing toys are some of her favorite activities—though be prepared, as she’s a pro at turning toys into confetti!Charlie’s dream home is one where she can stay active, build her strength, and burn off her boundless energy in positive ways. She’s ready to bring joy, laughter, and unconditional love to a family who will cherish her.If you’re ready for a devoted companion with a zest for life and a heart full of love, Charlie can’t wait to meet you! Stop by our adoption center on Thursdays from 11–3 or call us at 603-354-4004 to schedule an appointment Friday through Sunday. Our location is 101 West Swanzey Rd—come meet Charlie and see if she’s the perfect fit for your family!

Story
Our pets are fostered and physically located in NC until adopted. Once adopted we can deliver to your location or one of our north eastern delivery locations. We have a transporter who delivers north ever other week. Sheldon came from a local shelter. They were over full and he was in danger of being euthanized. He is a german shepherd mix. The vet said he is around 2 years old( as of 6-22-23). He is a tall lanky dog, around 65 to 70 pounds. He is a sweet boy and very affectionate. He needs a home with room to run. He is energetic and would need an adopter who can embrace it. He will make THE BEST hiking buddy ever. He likes water to. He would be best in a home where he can be the only dog. If he can't be an only dog he needs a home with a large breed submissive female. He would also do well with puppies. He is doing well with crate training and house training. He will go to his new home current on vaccines, testing, preventives, neutered and microchipped. He will receive a complete physical by our vet prior to going home. He will also be issued a certificate of Health. The adopter will get all the health records with adoption. We require a pre screen application to adopt. You can get that on our website at www.saveamuttkennel.net

Story
GSD/Husky/Lab/Catahoula mixFour year old Dexter W. is a mixture of Labrador, GSD, Husky and Catahoula. His former owner’s parents have recently taken him in and he is just too much dog for them. They describe him as “a fun, smart and energetic companion. He loves to be near us and is a loyal best friend who loves to play.”  They believe he would be best with a family with older children or a family of young adults because of his energy level.  He has never been around cats. Story
Welcome Ryker to CCPAL Rescue. He is a Husky/Shepherd mix. He weighs about 45 pounds and beautiful blue eyes. He knows sit, shake a paw and is good on a leash. He is smart and loyal companion. His loyalty will make him a little protective of his people. He is a wonderful dog and likes a number of different dogs here at the rescue. He was adopted and returned because he is protective when strangers came around. In our opinion, he is a perfect dog. In the right home, he will be perfect. A man who has had a shepherd would be best. Some person that is stronger and in control so the dog doesn’t have to be would be best. He would be great for a family that the husband travels out of town and he wants to leave a dog that will look after his family while he is away. He can go with children. We like them to be 8 or older. He is great on a leash and will be a great dog for an outdoorsy person wanting a companion to tag along. Ryker has a beautiful bushy coat and would be perfect in the cooler climates in the North. He is vaccinated, neutered, healthy and ready for his forever home. He is in Texas and can be adopted locally. We can also work with one of the wonderful transporters to get him to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minnesota, Vermont or all along the East Coast. His adoption fee is 300 and transport is 200. Contact Marlene at 210-867-1769 or email ccpalinquiries@gmail.com if you have questions. Online applications at www.ccpal.info/ See his cute video!!
