Story
Handsome, soulful, and full of heart, Atticus is a one-of-a-kind companion looking for a home where he can be your one and only. After bravely completing heartworm treatment, he’s healthy, happy, and eager to start the next chapter of his life! Atticus is a curious, gentle soul who thrives on companionship and activity. He loves his walks, splashing in the pool, and feeling the wind in his fur on beach outings or car rides. Pup cups? Yes, please. Sniff mats? Even better. He loves to keep his brain busy and is always up for learning something new, especially if it earns your praise. Though independent in spirit, Atticus is deeply loyal once he bonds with you. He’s not just a pet, he’s a partner. A shadow. A calm, grounding presence who wants nothing more than to share life’s moments right by your side. Because Atticus prefers to soak up all the love himself, we recommend he goes to a cat-free home. He may be able to get along with select dogs, so please bring yours to see if they're compatible! Fill out an application today so you can meet this beautiful boy!

Story
GSD/Husky/Lab/Catahoula mixFour year old Dexter W. is a mixture of Labrador, GSD, Husky and Catahoula. His former owner’s parents have recently taken him in and he is just too much dog for them. They describe him as “a fun, smart and energetic companion. He loves to be near us and is a loyal best friend who loves to play.”  They believe he would be best with a family with older children or a family of young adults because of his energy level.  He has never been around cats.
