Story
Hi! Yes, I am adorable, right! Oh, and my name is Abby, that kind of important too. I'm flexible though if you wanted to change it. I am confident, outgoing, fun and full of joy, plus resilient! At least that's what they say! I was found on the side of the busy highway at just a few months old with a funny walk. They think I either feel from a care or was thrown. Without a skip I was ready to show love and gratefulness to the sweet family that picked me up. I went to the vet, and they said I have a small fracture that required crate rest for a bit and so I did just that. I full rested and ready for adventure and most of all my forever family! I do great with other dogs and people, haven't met many little people since being off crate rest, but will soon. Also about to start dog daycare soon and I hear great things from my furry foster siblings about it. They woof me all stories about it when they get home. Super excited about that too. Since I was on crate rest, I am learning potty training now, but my foster mom says I will be a pro in no time. Food and I are great friends so food will be a great way to train me. I love celery, yup, a kid that loves veggies! So many fun things about me! If I might be the pup for you or if you want to learn more about me, please complete the adoption application. My breed is best guess, but my foster mom is thinking of getting a DNA test to see who my daddy and mommy are. Would be happy to share with my PAWrents if it works out. I am located in San Antonio, TX, but transport is included with my adoption fee. All out of state adoptions with transports gets a health certificate before leaving and all of us are fully vetted to age, fixed, chipped and have rabies vaccine. If you are interested in me, please completed the adoption application!

Story
Tennessee is the embodiment of your ideal furry companion. A striking blend of Belgian Malinois and German Shepherd, he's just 2 years old and bursting with energy. Tennessee thrives in a dynamic environment, making him the perfect fit for an active household. Despite his boundless energy, he possesses a gentle nature and remarkable intelligence. If you're seeking a trainable partner, Tennessee is your perfect match. Beyond his exuberance, he knows how to appreciate moments of stillness and enjoys cuddling up with his favorite humans. His luscious black sable fur requires regular brushing to maintain its health and stunning appearance. Tennessee is well-versed in basic commands, walks gracefully on a leash, and has excellent recall and boundaries. While he's tolerant of other dogs, his lack of exposure during his formative years means he's still learning proper pack manners. He's not one to bark unnecessarily, reserving his vocalizations for when something seems amiss. Tennessee is kennel trained, although he's not shy about expressing his dissatisfaction with confinement. Nevertheless, he can be trusted to behave responsibly when left alone at home. Plus, he's up-to-date on vaccinations, microchipped, neutered, and fully housebroken, making him the paw-fect addition to your family.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.November 5, 2024, 12:11 am

Story
Thor's story is coming soon!!! Adoption fee for Thor is $700.00. Are you his new family?  Please fill out our adoption application at:http://petstablished.com/adoption_form/24721/generic Over the past almost 2 years the numbers of local surrenders has skyrocketed. For example, Marley and her Puppy from last summer were both local surrenders. Both needed to be fully vetted, spayed/neutered, and cared for before going to their forever homes. People like us open our homes for them, but the rescue provides their food and crates and anything else they need. The expenses add up. Adoption fees don’t begin to cover the costs for some of these dogs. We do our part by providing a loving temporary home, socializing the dogs, getting to know their behaviors, etc. (by the way, we do it voluntarily, w no compensation). But we do see the money spent on all these dogs before they can even meet their potential family. So for all my animal loving friends out there…if you could be so kind, and make a donation, $5, $10 (or more) to help raise funds for Survivors Paws Animal Rescue Inc so they can continue to feed, treat, and adopt out these beautiful dogs, We would greatly appreciate it!  There are many more dogs waiting for their turn to be adopted. Over average it costs Survivor's Paws between $900.00 to $1.200.00 on average to save local dogs.  Spay and neuter clinics for dogs in the Upper Valley are slim and booking out months down the road.  We can't keep a dog in foster for 6 to 9 months waiting for a spay/neuter clinic to have space so we have to use our local vets.  Our adoption fees do not even cover our bet bills. Please SHARE,  donate, foster, volunteer and adopt.   Please fill out our adoption application at:http://petstablished.com/adoption_form/24721/generic Please DO NOT call to see if our dogs are still available.   We require our application be filled out before we answer any questions.  Please call your veterinarian's office to grant permission for Survivor's Paws Animal Rescue to speak with them. Adopt local. We are a local White River Jct., VT, NH and Connecticut rescue. When you adopt from Survivor's Paws....you become part of Survivor's Paws family. A Survivor's Paws representative will meet you with your puppy or dog on the day of transport. We help you proper introductions with other fur members of your household. We offer love, support, advise and training throughout your puppy/dog lives. Become part of Survivor's Paws family and adopt from Survivor's Paws Animal Rescue. You must be 21 in order to adopt from us. Please fill out the application on a computer, not a cell phone. We do NOT guarantee that you will get approved to adopt from us. We will be in contact with you as soon as we are ready to begin to process your application usually within 48 to 72 hours. The whole process can take a week or longer depending on how many applications we receive. Please understand we are volunteers, we work, have families and holidays on top of volunteering to save dogs on days off, evenings, and weekends. We do NOT adopt to Massachusetts, Rhode Island at this time. All potential adopters with dogs must have them up to date on vaccinations, altered, on heartworm and flea/tick preventatives. ##2186708##

Story
Taffy is ready for a home! She is affectionate, friendly, great with kids and dogs of all sizes. Taffy is such a fun girl. Loves water and playing in the yard. She hasn't been around cats yet, but we predict she will be good with cats if she grows up with one. Backstory: All the siblings are gorgeous babies! Their names are Bluebell (adopted), Taffy, Sunshine, Riley, Pepper, Cinnamon, and the one boy, Billy (adopted). These wonderful 9 week old pups were rescued from homelessness in South Texas, an area where there are so many dogs fending for themselves and not enough homes. Rather than allowing them to perpetuate the cycle, a kind soul reached out to Friends Fur Life Rescue, and our goal is to get these pups wonderful homes in the NE US and Canada. The puppies are ready for adoption super soon which is perfect timing now that summer vacations are over. We are taking applications NOW! Apply for one of these rescue puppies today! These will be wonderful family dogs. They are so friendly and smart. We estimate that they'll grow up to be around 40 lbs. These are super sweet and gentle pups with great temperament. Interested? We can drive your adopted puppy to your area! If you like one of these cuties, and you're in driving distance to Niagara, Buffalo, Rochester, Syracuse, Albany, Brattleboro, Secaucus, or Hartford, please send us an inquiry here and we'll give you a call and video chat with the pup you like!
