Story
Meet Burton, the spirited Border Collie/Shepherd mix ready to charm his way into your heart! At just 9 months old and weighing 35lbs, Burton is the epitome of puppy energy and enthusiasm. This playful goofball is always up for an adventure, especially if it involves exploring the great outdoors or engaging in a spirited game of fetch. One of Burton's most endearing qualities is his affectionate nature. He loves nothing more than showering his humans with hugs and snuggles, and watching him roll around and wiggle with joy in the yard is guaranteed to bring a smile to your face. While Burton is still mastering obedience commands, his eagerness to learn and please shines through. He's currently working on his potty training, showing promising progress with puppy pads indoors and he is crate trained. And although he may occasionally nibble on things he shouldn't (toes included!), his playful puppy antics are all part of his charm. Burton thrives in the company of other dogs, reveling in lively play sessions and companionship. A home with another energetic canine friend would be ideal for him, providing both playtime and valuable lessons in manners. Although Burton may be a bit shy around strangers, with patience and socialization, he's sure to blossom into a confident and loving companion. His fear of the unknown is understandable when you learn that he has recovered from being shot in the face and neck, with bullets remaining lodged in his body. He's a brave survivor with a zest for life, ready to embark on new adventures with his forever family. If you're prepared to continue Burton's training journey with patience and love, and provide him with a home filled with laughter and play, then he just may be the perfect match for you. So, what are you waiting for? Apply to meet Burton and discover the joy of having a playful pup by your side! This puppy is in Tennessee. Story
Tennessee is the embodiment of your ideal furry companion. A striking blend of Belgian Malinois and German Shepherd, he's just 2 years old and bursting with energy. Tennessee thrives in a dynamic environment, making him the perfect fit for an active household. Despite his boundless energy, he possesses a gentle nature and remarkable intelligence. If you're seeking a trainable partner, Tennessee is your perfect match. Beyond his exuberance, he knows how to appreciate moments of stillness and enjoys cuddling up with his favorite humans. His luscious black sable fur requires regular brushing to maintain its health and stunning appearance. Tennessee is well-versed in basic commands, walks gracefully on a leash, and has excellent recall and boundaries. While he's tolerant of other dogs, his lack of exposure during his formative years means he's still learning proper pack manners. He's not one to bark unnecessarily, reserving his vocalizations for when something seems amiss. Tennessee is kennel trained, although he's not shy about expressing his dissatisfaction with confinement. Nevertheless, he can be trusted to behave responsibly when left alone at home. Plus, he's up-to-date on vaccinations, microchipped, neutered, and fully housebroken, making him the paw-fect addition to your family.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.June 29, 2024, 12:05 am

Story
This puppy is in Tennessee. Adoption Donation $250 if picked up in TN, $325 plus transport fee for out-of-state adoptions. Meet Novi, a friendly and confident Shepherd mix puppy. At 11 weeks old and weighing 21 pounds, Novi has the perfect amount of energy. She loves running around the yard, playing with other dogs, and enjoys some downtime with her humans. Novi is the kind of pup who can have a rough-and-tumble play session and then settle down for a nap at your feet. Novi's playful nature is incredibly endearing. She loves to play with dogs of all sizes. When a bigger dog knocks her over, she gets right back up and dives back into the fun. Novi is a quick learner; she already knows how to sit for treats and food, uses a dog door, and is getting better at walking on a leash. She’s eager to please and would thrive in a training class or with some dedicated training time at home. Novi knows "Sit" and "Come," and she’s learning to "Wait" when her humans go out the door. She follows hand signals to go up and down a play ramp and is crate-trained, sleeping quietly through the night. Novi is also housetrained with a dog door, making her morning, after-meal, and bedtime potty trips a breeze. Novi enjoys chasing a ball, playing tug with toys, receiving affectionate pets, and sleeping near her favorite human’s chair. She loves exploring the yard and playing with other dogs. Novi gets along well with other dogs, from tiny puppies to older, larger dogs. She’s met children and enjoyed walks and playtime with them, making her a great candidate for a home with kids over 8. Novi needs an active family who can spend time with her and continue her training. A home with a fenced yard would be ideal for her explorations and playtime. Novi would love to have a friendly dog sibling to play with and children who can include her in their activities, like walks or hikes. She’s a sweet-tempered pup who craves attention and will quickly become a loyal, well-behaved companion with the right guidance and love.  Interested in adopting? Say hello to Junior!  He is incredibly sweet and smart.  This adorable boy can be a little shy at first, but once he opens up you will feel all the love he has to give.  Junior has learned a few tricks and if you have a yummy treat he will be glad to show them to you.  Our adorable boy is also crate traned (not his favorite place as he loves to be part of the action, but will sleep very well in it).  This smart boy is also leash train and does very well in the car.  He will be an incredible fit for any family.    Why adopt from Texas? Story
I hope you're having a great day! I've got some exciting news to share with you, but before that, did you know that German Shepherd Dogs were the first guide dogs in the 1920s? And the best part is, my half-siblings are still a popular choice today! Being part of this legacy has been an amazing experience, and I'm looking forward to starting a new chapter with you. I can't wait to spend some quality time with you in the near future. Just imagine the fun we'll have on our daily walks, playing catch on a sunny Sunday afternoon, or simply enjoying the outdoors. I promise to be your faithful companion every step of the way, and I'm not just saying that because I'm an excellent buddy. I've got a charming personality, and I'm devilishly handsome with a lush coat that craves daily brushing! I understand that life can sometimes be lonely, but I'm here to keep you company with my cuddles and hugs. I know what it feels like to be alone - I was just recently living on the streets all by myself. But now I'm ready and willing to be your best friend. And if you're looking for a new human friend, then you're in luck! With my good looks, I'll make the perfect wingman by making new friends for you wherever we go. People can't resist my soft, gentle brown eyes, and I just love making new friends. I've had my share of ups and downs, but I'm excited to start a new journey with you. One day, I got separated from my previous family and lost my way. It was a challenging time, but I was fortunate enough to make many friends along the way. I played with children, walked with moms and babies, hung out with teenagers, and even shared lunch with construction workers. The neighbors were kind enough to invite me over for dinner, and lay cozy beds on their front porches for me to sleep at night. I felt loved and cared for.    I'm ready to get back to work and make your life better. So let's make some unforgettable memories together! Fill out my application and bring me home today. Time is ticking, and I don't want to miss out on any of the amazing adventures that we'll have together. I'm 10 years old, HW- and vaccines up-to-date, and I can't wait to start a new chapter with you! ##2039507##

Story
Say hello to Moana.  This girlie is patiently awaiting the chance to bring happiness and love to her new family. May she continue to thrive and grow, spreading joy and laughter wherever she roam. If you are interested in welcoming one of these precious puppies into your home, we are delighted to offer transport services from Houston to the East Coast and Pacific Northwest every two weeks. This demonstrates our commitment to ensuring that these little ones find a loving and secure environment in which to thrive. The next available date for transportation is right around the corner, once they have completed their puppy shot series, ensuring their health and well-being. For more information on the adoption process and to submit an application, we kindly invite you to visit our website at www.springbranchrescue.org.  Why should you adopt from a Texas Rescue? Because you will be giving one of our many dogs and cats in need a chance for a better future from a city that has an animal crisis.  We are heartbroken each day with the many incredible and loving animals found wandering our streets.  So many have been dumped and cannot find their way home.  Many never even had a home and were born on the streets.  WE gave them a chance.  Every animal deserves a chance.   If we are based in Houston, then how can you see our posts? We have fosters all over the Pacific Northwest allowing us to post in specific cities. We do not have a physical shelter. All of our adoptable pets are living with local foster families which will make the transition into your household a whole lot easier.  We have been doing this since 2019 and have been very successful.   Please look at our adopter’s reviews https://greatnonprofits.org/org/spring-branch-rescue.   ##1983961##
