Story
Hello! My name is Fin, and I’m a 4-year-old German Shepherd with a whole lot of love (and energy!) to give. At 65 pounds, I’m a handsome and strong boy who’s ready to find my perfect match. I’ve got that classic Shepherd intelligence and spirit, but I’ll admit I’m still a work in progress when it comes to manners. If you’re looking for a loyal companion with boundless enthusiasm, I’m your guy!I’m an energetic pup who loves to stay active! Whether it’s running, playing, or exploring the great outdoors, I’m always ready for an adventure. I do well with other dogs and enjoy having a buddy to play with, but my strength and excitement mean I need an experienced handler who can help me channel my energy in positive ways. I’m eager to learn, and with a little training, I know I can become the best version of myself.I’d do best in a home with a strong and confident adopter who understands the needs of a high-energy dog. I need someone who’s ready to work with me on leash manners—my last home wasn’t the best fit because my strength made walks a challenge. I’d love to have a doggy sibling to play with, but I haven’t spent much time around cats, so slow introductions would be important.I’m a playful, loving, and intelligent dog who just needs the right person to guide me. With some training and patience, I’ll be the kind of dog that makes you proud. I have so much love to give and can’t wait to find a home where I can thrive. If you’re up for the challenge and reward of an energetic companion, come meet Fin—I’m ready to jump (literally!) into your heart. If you are interested in adopting me or another homeless pet at Macomb County Animal Control, walk-in adoption hours are Monday-Friday from 10am-4pm.My adoption fee is SPONSORED

Story
Willow is an amazing dog. She is smart, beautiful, and has A LOT of energy. Willow has gone through a couple sessions of basic training along with learning and using commands. I also have 2 cats that reside with Willow, she does ok with the cats but tends to get bored and chase them even still being over a year later. She is very dog/human reactive and needs to be with the right person who can correct her behavior the proper way. She does not do well around other dogs, I wouldn’t say no dogs around her ever, introduction need to be slow. She is a working dog and proves it every day. She has special quirks about her that are a lot to handle but also just too cute. She needs to be in a home with NO other animals to start and a Human who can provide what she needs when it comes to her behavior and energy, she DEMANDS you to be active. Willow is an awesome dog all around, her current home isn’t meeting her requirements & thats why she needs someone who can give her all of what she needs.
