She loves people and kids. She is a master at tug of war! She loves to play ball and any toy that squeaks. She knows her basic commands such as sit, stay and down (to lay down). She is very energetic and loves to run. Stella sits and takes treats very gently. She does pretty well on a leash. Stella would do best in a home with a fenced in yard or a family that goes on lots of adventures so she can burn some energy. She plays rough so I would recommend her being properly introduced to larger dogs. No small dogs please. Stella also loves to chase cats and chickens, so a home without those would be best. Microchips are implanted between the animals shoulder blades and are a permanent form of identification. The microchips are registered to Last Day Dog Rescue with the adopter's info added once adopted. If the animal is ever lost and slips his/her collar/tags the microchip allows the finder to know who to contact if scanned for a microchip. Animals MUST still have a collar with tags on at all times. Per our contract, we take all our animals back if for any reason you can't keep your adopted animal. Please understand the statements about this animal are based upon the foster home's evaluation of the animal. The animal might behave differently (negatively or positively) in your home. While the animal might be good with the current foster’s dogs, cats, children, etc., it may not be with your animal(s) or children. Air Force is a gorgeous 2 year old shepherd mix who weighs 65 lbs. He is energetic and loves to play. He will even play ball with himself! Air Force gets along with dogs. Because of his high energy level the best match would be another dog who loves to play. He enjoys laying with cats but does on occasion chase them. He is housebroken and crate trained. Air Force has never lived with children, so would be best in a home with adults or teenagers. Looking to re-home my dads dog Meham. He is a shepherd rot mix. He is about 7 or 8 years old. He is a very sweet dog and loves to play fetch with a ball however he does not like other animals at all. He gets excited to see everyone but usually is mild mannered. I was hoping to find someone who needs a great best friend or protector. He is house broken very well, sits, shaks, laying down and likes to howl when singing to him. Around 70-80 pounds and is fixed. No re-homing fee.

We adopted Cooper from an animal rescue when he was a puppy. He came all the over from Texas! He is such a sweet boy he loves to run around the backyard and sunbathe. He is easily excitable but also loves to relax and snuggle with you. We unfortunately have to rehome him due to his aggression towards our young daughter. He has bitten her once before and he snarls at her if she gets too close to him. We have had pet sitters watch him when we are gone and he does well with older children or teenagers. He needs to be in a home where there is no small children. He gets along with our other dog but he does not like groups of dogs such as a doggie daycare. He has food aggression towards other dogs. He has not shown aggression towards cats but he gets fixated on them and chases them. He would likely do better in a house without other animals. He also has hypothyroidism so he will need to be on thyroid medication for the rest of his life.

This is Hank. Hank is a 4 y.o German shepherd lab mix. Hank is a very sweet, cuddly, and loving dog in need of a new home. Hank loves to play fetch and would play all day if he could. Hank does well with other dogs, but has reactivity problems when it comes to dogs walking by him or his home. He will race around the yard, jump/lunge & his shackles stand up. This makes it extremely difficult to take him on walks or to places with other dogs. Hank has a ton of energy and would love a home with a nice big fenced in yard away from other surroundings & preferably no other animals (although does well with dogs he can meet) as well as possibly looking into training for his reactivity. Despite this behavior issue, Hank is a very smart dog and knows multiple tricks: sit, lay, stay/wait, roll over, shake, and more and is crate trained. We are rehoming him due to him not being able to safely stay in our yard that has multiple dogs walking by each day. It is a safety issue for him & other dogs.

Grace is a lovely, sweet pure bred German Shepherd. We adopted her from the Detroit Dog Pound 1.5 years ago and she was emaciated and very weak. She was a breeder dog and when they were done with her, apparently they just through her out. I thought she was on her last few weeks, so we took her home to at least give her a nice bed. We also thought that she might be content being at home while we're at school because she was so sick and lethargic when we got her, but after some good care, she not only regained her health, she came back vibrant! She is so excited to have her life back that she wants to be more active than we have time for. She is a lovely gorgeous German Shepherd and she has put her time in delivering puppies with her hearty solid genes, she deserves more than what we're able to give her. We don't have a fenced yard, and there aren't any dog parks near us.
