Story
He is a very one-man dog. He is very protective of me and the two females GEDs I have. The problem is that he is over protective. He is fully trained but very stubborn. He walks on a leash well but is aggressive toward other dogs not in his pack.

Story
I’m Oreo. I’m 1 year and 57 pounds. I have been around dogs and cats here at the shelter and I have done great with both. I have been around children, and I have done great. I am unsure why I was unwanted, but I am hopeful for a second chance. I do bark a lot, and I would not do well in an apartment. I am looking for a home with a fenced in yard because I love getting the zoomies outside. I’m doing extremely well with potty training here. I look forward to meeting you!

Story
This is Chester, 3-year old purebred German Shepherd male. He is neutered and up to date with all shots. Highly trainable with zero health related issues; his hips were x-rayed at a very young age and showed no sign of dysplasia. Chester is quirky and weird. He is often sensitive and shy but has no problems being out in public/social settings with a handler that he trusts and respects. He does not like everyone and he often feels triggered around new people and new settings. On the other side of his introvert character is an intelligent, athletic, and resolutely persistent dog. He enjoys just about everything from playing fetch to exploring hiking trails with the people he loves. Chester needs an experienced handler and/or handlers who can provide upward of 3 hours everyday to care for him and stimulate him mentally/physically. This is a dog for someone who is capable of providing and enforcing rules, routines, and structure consistently on a daily basis.
