Story
Thor is a 9-year-old purebred German Shepherd. We acquired him from a breeder years ago as a puppy. For a few years we have not been able to attend to him as we should because of our busy work schedule and all the kids are now out of the home. We are looking for a home that will be attentive to his needs.. like walking him daily and spending time with him because he gets very lonely with us being gone all the time.. he is very friendly with others also looking for a home with a yard he can run around in freely that is fenced ..

Story
We bought Chase locally when he was 6 weeks old. He is very intelligent and is very "chill". He prefers to be alone but gets along well with other dogs, people, and children. He is a very big "cuddle bug". He will sleep with you and is sometimes a little goofy. He loves to roam the backyard yard barking at passersby. He knows basic commands. Barks when someone knocks at the door and follows commands to get back and sit. He is both an outside dog as well as inside. We alternate all day long between inside and outside according to the weather. He never sleeps outside. We love him very much and want to make sure he goes to a loving family or individual. He's a great ESA dog and I can definitely see him being trained as a service dog. His (calm) behaviors make it easy to determine his likes & dislikes. He is a boushie eater. Snacks aren't quite his thing. Definitely a family dog and/or single-person companion. He is groomed at Petco. Chase also likes to ride in cars ad play ball.

Story
Bear is about 3 years old and was rescued by my son from being killed. He was working in a kennel and the county brought an abandoned/lost dog. over the next 2 month my son developed a bond with the dog and could not let him be destroyed. over the last 2 years my son socialized and trained Bear, got him neutered/shots/micro chipped/obidence/potty on comand. My son is now in college with the dog in a small appartment and a college schedule. Both Bear and my son are stressed and this is what is best for both of them. He saved Bear, now he needs to let him go to a better home. Bear's favorite activity is chasing his frisbie and bringing it back to you. He would rather do this than eat treats.

Story
Once upon a time, there was a little 6-month old pup named Jagger, known lovingly to his friends as 'Jaggy' or 'Radar.' Don’t let his small size of 30 lbs or his blindness fool you—Jaggy’s heart is as big as they come, and his spirit is even bigger. This little guy is always on the go, whether he is hopping into a car for a joyride, sniffing around the great outdoors, or gathering up his beloved toys (he may have a slight habit of stockpiling them, but hey, every explorer needs his treasure, right?).Jaggy has a way of sensing the world that is magical to see. Though his eyes don’t work, his nose and ears are like a map, guiding him safely through his adventures. He can trot around the yard or settle at his family’s feet, always with his signature tail wag and joyful heart. And despite his blindness, he never misses a beat when it comes to being the loyal, loving companion he dreams of being. All Jaggy needs now is his forever family—a family who will appreciate his quirks, his collection of toys, and his warm little snuggles. A fenced yard would help him feel secure, and a loving family would make him feel right at home. Jaggy gets along well with other dogs, and even cats are no problem for him. He is ready to be the perfect friend for anyone who opens their heart to him.If you or someone you know has a place for this sweet, adventurous, and absolutely amazing pup, please reach out to Project Hope Animal Rescue. Because Jaggy’s forever family is out there somewhere, and he’s ready to fill their lives with all the love, loyalty, and joy they could ask for. His adoption fee is $350.&#226&#128&#139If you have any questions or concerns about Jagger, please email us at projecthoperescue@gmail.com. Story
Oak is approximately 6 months neutered male. A little timid at first.  Once he feels you are safe, he will be your best bud. He loves other dogs and would do best in a home with another dog to play and learn from. He's pretty chill so he'd do just fine without a fenced-in yard.. I don’t believe he’s going to get a whole lot bigger than he is now 30-40 lbs . I wouldn’t recommend a family with small children because he is still a puppy. He does well with cats and will chase if they run. He’s been reprimanded by the resident cats and pretty much ignores them now.  We are located in Albion, Michigan. His adoption fee is $350.00. If you have any questions or concerns about Oak, please email us at projecthoperescue@gmail.com. He is a sweet boy that loves food and car ride, although he get car sick. He is bossy at time and loves to chat. He will sit for a treat and that is about the sum of his obedance training. I am having unexspected life changes and can't take Kanga with me.

German Shepherd Dog Husky

Female, Young
Lansing, MI
Size
(when grown) Med. 26-60 lbs (12-27 kg)
Details
Good with dogs, Needs special attention, Needs experienced adopter, House-trained, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
Talia is a 40 lb spayed, one and a half year old rambunctious, high energy, loving dog. She loves to play fetch, tug of war, or shred up stuffed animal toys until your arms fall off. She might take a while to warm up to you, but once she does she has an amazing personality that you will love. Due to her Husky heritage, she will carry out long conversations with you and with enough sass to give a 12 year old girl a run for her money. She has been in a home for the past four months, but her placement before that period is unknown. As such, she has a hard time understanding some social cues. She loves playing with other dogs even when they are too tired to continue. The ideal home for Talia includes someone with knowledge in training somewhat difficult dogs and a schedule that includes more at home time than what is typically expected. She has an aversion to being in a crate while home alone and has been prescribed anxiety medication for separation anxiety.
