Story
Affectionate and playful with my family and always up for a new adventure or challenge, I’ll bring lots of energy and joy to my new home. I was adopted in April 2022, when I was 5 months old, as a little brother for my mom’s first pup, but she’s found the demands of raising 2 young working/sporting males in the city to be more than she can manage given all her other commitments. I’m house trained, leash trained (tho I get excited when I see a rabbit or squirrel), neutered, fully vaxed, and I travel well in the car. I’ve got great recall, respond to all the basic commands, learn quickly, luv 2 please. Seeking an active, dog-savvy family who love shepherds and are mostly home/available to walk/hike, cuddle, play. Big enclosed yard and other dog/s bonus.

Story
Happy is a special guy with some unique looks to match. He is pretty good at making human friends and has a history of being really social and snuggly with his previous family. Happy has lots of energy and is looking for a family that can help keep his brain and body active and is a committed to using positive training methods to help him be his best self. While Happy has a nice history of making dog friends, he doesn`t always know the best way to introdcue himself, so he will need help working on his greetings. Happy would likely do best in an quiet neighborhood where he can focus on himself! If you think this dog could be a good match for your home and would like to learn more, stop by our Boston Adoption Center. We have open adoption hours Tuesday-Sunday from 12pm-3pm – no appointment needed to speak to a staff person regarding available dogs. Preparing your home for your new dog or puppy ahead of time can help ease the transition for your new pet and set you both up for success should there be a dog that’s a good match! To learn more about how to make the first few weeks with your new dog or puppy the most successful it can be, please visit www.mspca.org/petresources. For more information on our adoption process, please visit https://www.mspca.org/adoption-centers/how-to-adopt/ Please note, in an effort to keep the stress levels reduced for the dogs in our care, our dog kennel areas will not be open to walk through. Interested adopters will work with a matchmaker on staff to determine which dog(s) they’re interested in - and if we can identify a match, potential adopters will be able to meet those dogs outside of the kennel. Cat and small animal areas will remain open to walk through.

Story
Creed is a loveable 9-month-old German Shepard that I am very sad about having to rehome however my 5-yr old Rottweiler does not get along with him. Creed is playful and loves attention however he is making Zeus my Rottweiler very aggressive and very possessive and dominant. I can no longer have them living together unfortunately i thought Zeus would get over it, but he is getting more aggressive towards him everyday. Just want him to go to a good home !!

Story
Loki is a very energetic, very smart, very attached 1 year old purebred German Shepherd puppy. Unfortunately, Loki doesn't get along with our other dog and it is causing a stressful living environment for both dogs. He would thrive in an only dog household and with someone who is experienced with working breeds. He loves going for walks, playing fetch, and especially loves using his nose to find hidden treats. He did do a 3-week bootcamp so he is fairly good on commands/recall but would benefit from continued training. And even though he is a high energy dog, when it's time to settle down there's nothing better than him resting his head on your arm at peace.
