Story
Wyatt is a 2-year-old Shepherd mix bursting with energy, excitement, and love! If you’re looking for a high-spirited companion to keep up with an active lifestyle, Wyatt is your guy. Whether it’s a long hike, a game of fetch, or learning new tricks, Wyatt thrives when both his mind and body are exercised. When Wyatt isn’t zooming around, he transforms into an affectionate lovebug who craves belly rubs and all the pets you can give. He’s happiest when he’s close to his people and will remind you every day just how much he adores you.Given his energy, Wyatt would do best in a home with teens or adults who can match his enthusiasm. While he hasn’t been around cats from what we know, with proper introductions, he might be able to coexist with a dog-savvy feline friend. However, Wyatt is best as the only dog in the household—he prefers to be the center of attention! If you’ve got an active lifestyle and room in your heart for an affectionate, fun-loving dog, Wyatt is ready to be your loyal sidekick! Our shelter is open Tuesday-Sunday from 12-4 (closed Mondays). If you are interested in this pet, please review our adoption process at www.lowellhumanesociety.org/adoption/#process so you`re prepared.

Story
Creed is a loveable 9-month-old German Shepard that I am very sad about having to rehome however my 5-yr old Rottweiler does not get along with him. Creed is playful and loves attention however he is making Zeus my Rottweiler very aggressive and very possessive and dominant. I can no longer have them living together unfortunately i thought Zeus would get over it, but he is getting more aggressive towards him everyday. Just want him to go to a good home !!

I was rescued from a scary shelter by my wonderful foster mom. I have no idea why I was dumped there but I'm thankful to be with IDGSR waiting to find my forever home. 2. I have a lot of energy and love to play! I would love to have a safe fenced in backyard to run and play in. 3. I would absolutely love to go on adventures! Do you like walking, hiking, running, swimming, or chasing waterfalls? Me too! Let's go on cool trips together, especially this fall! 4. I’m very smart and would really love some obedience training. It’s fun and I get to use my brain. Will you paw-promise to train me to my fullest potential? 5. My ideal home is with someone who has prior German Shepherd experience, no first time GSD owners please. I would do fine with a confident male doggo. 6. I need to *avoid* homes with cats, small dogs, and female dogs. 7. If you are looking for a fun, energetic, smart and loving companion - I'm your girl! Story
IDGSR Welcomes SHASTA into the safety of the rescue!! THIS DOG IS FOSTERED IN TENNESSEE & AVAILABLE FOR TRANSPORT ************** Happy Holidays! My name is Shasta and I'm a 5-6yr old female German Shepherd. I am located near Greeneville TN and will be available for transport. Quick Facts: Age - 5-6yr old Home - ideally a home with a fenced in yard, no apartment or condo Kids - Would do well with kids (12+) Dogs - Good with large males, no females or small dogs Cats - NO cats Training - Needs standard obedience training I want to share my back story with you so you get a better understanding of my personality. I was rescued from a hoarding case. I lived my life on a short chain, with no shelter, no adequate food or water. I was strictly used for breeding, had numerous litters of puppies, and wasn't treated with any love or care. When I was being rescued, my former owner hit me on the head with a cast iron skillet!! I have a bump on my head now but the vet tells me it will get better in time. 1. Despite my awful upbringing, I am a nice girl. I've never gotten to experience love, kindness, or even basic needs. The rescue has been wonderful for me to heal and now I'm ready to a forever loving home. 2. I would love to have a fenced in yard to explore in and a comfy bed to rest on. I don't require much because I've never had anything nice, if you can give me a good life, I will be forever grateful. 3. I would do best as either an only dog or with a confident male dog. I must be the only female dog in the home. It's also best that I avoid homes with small dogs and cats. 4. Now that I'm feeling much better, I love to jog in the backyard, check out what's going on, and have the occasional play time with one of the male foster dogs. 5. I've never spent a holiday with a loving person or family, I heard it's one of the most special times of the year. I hope you have a place in your heart & on your couch for a middle aged gal like me!
