His name is Sokka. He is about a year and 8months old. He is a very entergetic doggy and loves attention. Very puppy personality! He does not like cages but He loves going on walks and gets excited to get his leash on. He is not well socialized with other dogs and he gets jumpy but not aggressive. He has got a mean bark but it is all bark no bite. He is nice after some smells and pets.

Story
Broly is going to be 7 months old beginning of November. Very energetic (GSD trait), loves attention, swimming, playing with other dogs and car rides. He is already over 50lbs so he is going to be a big boy. Extremely food driven. Will play fetch but prefers rope tug. I have been offered a promotion and unfortunately he will not be able to make the move with me. I want to make sure he goes to a home with good people who have the time give him the attention he requires. Ideally someone who has another dog already for him to play with. I have an older GSD that he loves playing with.

Story
Hi, my name is Trixie! I was picked up by animal control after I'd been hit by a car. My owners couldn't afford my medical care, so they surrendered me. Despite my tough luck, I'm full of life and love everyone and everything I've ever met. I do get scared when I'm completely alone, so I would love to be in home with another dog that can keep me company when my family is away. My current foster brothers do this and it helps me feel safe! I love to sleep by humans' feet, play in the yard, and meet new friends, including children of all ages. I'm potty-trained and learning to use my crate. I can't wait to find my furever best friends so I can share all the love I have to give. If you think you might want to be my new best friend, I'd love to meet you! Just go to WAALrescue.org/adopt and fill out an application.

Story
Onyx found running streets of Seattle in Feb 2021 @ 1-year. Able to catch him and took him to the shelter. Adopted him shortly after and sent him to Kansas for training. Multiple escapes from his previous owner and they surrendered him after this 8+ escape. Never planned to keep him, but loved having him so only posting now, after 3 years. He has all basic & a lot of advanced obedience training. Some agility training. He is full of energy and wicked smart. He would be great at Rally, agility, hiking. He is motivated by movement & will chase cats. He listens well, but is strong and will test you on a leash. Off-leash trained, but only for the advanced handler. Allergies to metal collars/some foods. LOVES his people, & believes he is a 60 lbs. lap dog; complete teddy bear goof. Completely crate trained; sleeps in the crate at night. Loves to play tug and chase. Must meet Onyx & trainer. Home visit is a must, or vet/trainer recommendation. Total fee negotiable for right home.

Story
Clove is such a fun dog! She's very athletic and loves to run! Shes also very cuddly and loves everyone she meets, but seems to love men even more. Her recall and leave it are fantastic and she knows sit and lie down, but has a "what's in it for me attitude until she completely respects you. She's easy to train because she's food motivated, toy motivated, and loves to learn. When hanging out around the house, Clove likes to know where I'm at but does go hang out in another room occasionally. For being a young, high energy dog she is really nice at home. She's well behaved and matches our energy, relaxing when we're hanging out and playing when it's time to play. She loves her ball and stuffies but the stuffies don't always last very long around her. Clove will paw at the door when she needs to go outside and she stays off all the furniture. She is pushy and tests boundaries, but respects me when I stay firm. There are some guarding issues with her food so I've started hand feeding her and asking things of her instead of just giving her a bowl of food. She also doesn't like when the resident dog approaches her toys, food, or kennel but he's respectful of her space and I'm working with her on that as well. She is car reactive, so I wouldn't recommend off leash training, but we're working on her leave it command and she's getting better. Clove needs regular exercise, but even on the days I don't get her out for a long walk she's still a good girl. Clove would do best in a home that has experience with working breeds and would do fine with older children who understand her boundaries. We've met some cats on our walks and she is curious, but doesn't seem to see them as prey. She needs regular activity such as a combination of long walks/runs, playing fetch, and puzzle toys but if you only get her out of the house every other day, she can handle that too. Clove really needs to find a good, active home, she's been at the rescue for far too long and would make a great family pet!
