Story
Leo is five years old and we love and pamper him. We rescued Leo in TX as a tiny pup. However he has developed significant reactivity and aggression. Over the last several months, he has growled at and nipped at several neighbors. More recently, he has developed a high predatory drive toward specific vehicles (trucks) and has become increasingly "distant" and hyper-vigilant. The safety threshold was crossed today when Leo went after my two-year-old child. He is currently in a state of constant "guarding" and appears irritated by the presence of the toddler. We have attempted professional training, increased exercise, and diet changes, but his behavior is deteriorating rather than improving. Leo is no longer safe in a home with children or in a busy neighborhood environment. He requires an experienced, adult-only home or a sanctuary environment where his triggers can be strictly managed by professionals. He is a high-liability risk in a standard residential setting.

Story
5 months Ready to go home after April 18th (earlier if able to ensure he comes to the final appointment in Des Moines) Must be an active and home. The breeds are high energy and need lots of exercise/mental stimulation. Shouldn't be kenneled for the most the day or alone most of the day. If other dog/s that would be great or if there are kids to play with. I have nieces and nephews ranging from 3 years old to 10 years old and there are no issues. We have one cat who stays away from all the dogs. He is interested and whines to try to get to her. No interactions have occurred yet. He loves people, loves to cuddle, play with siblings, and is a quick learner. He is a bit scared/timid and we are working on this. Needs patience with working on jumping and nipping when he is excited, scared, overwhelmed, or having a lot of emotions. Knows sit, laydown, touch, off, and look at me. Still working on: wait, leave it.

Story
I will separate the dogs if necessary, Re-homing Ace and ash together. They are bonded at five years old from the same litter. Ace gets anxious at times. He is not friendly with strangers in the home. He does not do well with kids. He did bite our daughter when she accidentally fell on him. He did not break skin but because of this I feel like he needs to be in an adults only home. He’s very obedient and intelligent. Ash is very loyal and protective and stands at my side outside of the house. He’s also very sweet and intelligent and loved to play catch and with soccer balls. Experience with German Shepards a must.

Meet Buster – a sweet, not so graceful pup ! (Buster is currently living with his foster family in Texas, he will be transported through PFR when he is adopted) Buster is a handsome pup with a wonderfully laid-back personality. This sweet boy is a bit of a gentle goof—sometimes clumsy, always endearing—and he’s guaranteed to make you smile. He loves to wrestle and play with one of his brothers, but when it’s time to relax, Buster is happy to just hang out and soak up affection. Buster is currently working on his basic commands and is eager to learn with a patient, loving family. He, his momma, and siblings were left to fend for themselves on the streets of a small rural Texas town until a kind couple took them in and gave them safety and care. Now Buster is ready for a forever home where he can continue to grow, learn, and be loved. If you’re looking for a sweet, easygoing pup with a big heart and a silly side, Buster may be your perfect match. Story
Meet Nova — the girl with the big presence! 🌟 (NOVA is currently living with a foster family in Texas, but can be transported through Project Freedom Ride when she is adopted) At just 6 months old and 44 lbs., Nova may be the smallest of her litter of five, but don’t let that fool you—she naturally steps into a leadership role among her siblings. She’s expected to be a medium-sized dog once fully grown. Nova is a little more reserved at first, but once she warms up, her sweet, gentle nature shines. Her shiny black coat paired with her rich mahogany markings makes her absolutely stunning. Nova, her momma, and her siblings were left to fend for themselves on the streets in a rural Texas town until a kind couple took them in and gave them safety and care. Now Nova is ready for her next chapter—a loving forever family to call her own. If you’re looking for a beautiful, smart, and tender-hearted companion, Nova may be your girl. 💕 Please complete an Adoption/inquiry form if you’d like to adopt Nova (copy and paste the link in your browser): https://form.jotform.com/241436494645160 Fun Facts about NOVA: * Estimated date of birth is 6-12-25 * Weighs about 38 lbs. at 6 months of age * Spayed and fully vaccinated * Mom is a German Shepherd/Husky mix and dad is a mystery…possibly part Doberman * Laid back personality, but does like to be in a leadership role with her siblings * Does okay with other dogs * Heartworm and Tick Fever negative and current on preventatives Videos of NOVA: https://youtu.be/13HCrwxqJcI https://youtube.com/shorts/sjtaCMwm_yQ?feature=share https://youtube.com/shorts/vdKKZahEsgQ?feature=share https://youtube.com/shorts/cAjAi_nRVwA?feature=share ……………………………………………………………………………………………………………………..
