My best friend Petra and I came to the shelter together because our human couldn't take care of us anymore. We are very close and want to do everything together which is why we MUST be adopted together, but that doesn't mean we don't have time for people...we love people and will do whatever we can to please them. I can be a bit of a barker when people don't pay attention to me, but as long as you're close by I'm a very good boy. I am 2 years old and 69 pounds, Petra is 3 years old and 61 pounds.   If you are interested in adopting this adorable pair of canines, please FILL OUT AN ADOPTION APPLICATION on our website www.safehavenforpets.org. If you have any questions, please feel free to call us at 815-858-2265 or email us atsafehaven1471@gmail.com. Story
Hi! My buddy, Randy and I come as a pair, we're bonded and will need to be adopted to the same home! Our previous owner had to give us up for health reasons, but the shelter is trying to keep us together. We really need each other and don't react well to being separated, but we're really sweet and love attention. Don't be intimidated by us, we are big but don't want to hurt anyone, just hang our with each other and as many people as we can. Some info about the two of us: I am 61 pounds and 3 years old, while Randy is 69 pounds and 2 years old.   If you are interested in adopting this adorable pair of canines, please FILL OUT AN ADOPTION APPLICATION on our website www.safehavenforpets.org. Nobody can get enough of our tripod Bourbon! If you have a single great experience with this handsome boy, he is BOUND to your side like glue, and it is the CUTEST ever. He approaches the world with such a tender, loving curiosity combined with adorable innocence; he is the cuddle bug we ALL adore. At about 2 years old, and 60 pounds, he's 100% a good boy! He's already mastering 'sit', crate training, + of course, puppy dog eyes! As you can see, he is just TOO cute, and if you're prepared to keep up with this cuteness, he will make a perfect fit into your home! So far, Bourbon's favorite activities are anything to do with people, but he does also adore other dogs, and even hanging out with cats! Bourbon is definitely an active dog, but we figure he will mellow out very well once he's comfortable at home, and we can't just him for having fun with us! What I love most about Bourbon is definitely the hilarious faces he makes so casually, he's a very expressive boy; and he lets you know allll about it!
