Story
I have had Major since he was a puppy. He’s extremely loyal and very playful. Getting new toys and going on off leash walks are his favorite things. He is e-collar trained, recall at 100% and completely house trained. The only reason I am considering this adoption is because my life has completely changed since I got him as a puppy. I had a partner to share the responsibility with but that didn’t work out and now it is just me. I have an extremely busy schedule and recently moved into a much smaller place. Too small for Major. Im hoping to find him a loving home with lots of room for him to run and play. He’s such a good dog, he just needs more than I can give him.

Story
This friend has just arrived to us on transport from a high-intake shelter partner! When our friends are new to us, we are often unsure of their full background. Our staff will spend some time getting to know them and update their bio with more information as we learn. They are pending interactions with animals until they have been cleared by our vet. Please note that we often are unsure of house, crate, car, and leash training status upon arrival. If you are interested in adopting this dog, please submit an adoption questionnaire! Our adoption process is on a first-come, best-match basis and we are not able to hold animals. If you are interested in this specific dog but it ends up not being the best fit upon meeting, our adoption counselors will work with you to help find a match! All household members, including children and other dogs, must come along for the meeting to make sure it's a good fit. If a match is made, we encourage same-day adoptions! Our adoption fees include the animals' spay/neuter, microchip, age-appropriate vaccinations and preventatives, fecal testing, heartworm testing, and a small bag of food to get you started.

Story
In Rising Sun Raya is a beautiful 1 yr old German Shepherd/Aussie cross girl with 1 blue eye. She is the most loving and playful 60+ lbs puppy. She is so smart, and picks things up very quickly. She knows sit, down, off, shake, touch, and kennel/bedtime. She takes treats from you very gently, and seems to love children, but is big and still a bit clumsy for the smaller ones. She plays well with toys by herself, and loves to play bitey face, and chase, and, rough house with her foster siblings. She is still puppyish with a lot of energy, but she also has an off switch. Raya needs a home with people willing to give her time to get to know them as she has some stranger danger. Once she knows and trusts you, she is all in. A few extra visits may be necessary to win her over. A fenced yard is a good idea as she is very curious and may dart after something interesting. She would benefit from a patient playful fur sibling to help her release that extra energy on a daily basis. She has already been spayed and is utd on vaccines and takes monthly heart worm and flea medications. Raya is waiting for that person or family to come and be her furever! If you think you might be just who she is looking for, apply at: https://www.australianshepherdsfurever.org/adoption-application There is an additional $20 microchip fee which includes registration and transfer to her new furever family.

Story
Blu is a large 3.5 year old boy thats filled with love. He has loves all people, dogs, and cats. When first meeting another dog he sometimes tries to hump which can lead to a scuffle, however once the initial meeting is done hes best friends. We adopted Blu when he was a puppy and I was still in the Navy. I recently finished up my contract with the Navy and an adult job here in New Jersey, which unfortunately means much longer hours than Blu has been used to. Unfortunately, and it breaks my heart, he just hasnt adjusted well to the new schedule. Id like to rehome him to a new home where his new family can give him all the time and care he needs.

King has been in the family since he was a puppy. So he’s family friendly who still thinks he’s a puppy lol he loves to play with his large family of 14 grandchildren but he’s also very shy and doesn’t really know how to socialize with other dogs. Although he is harmless to dogs he doesn’t think he’s a dog sometimes lol so he likes and loves humans morw
