Story
This lovely girl is already here and looking for a place where she can lay her head down every night to rest and dream. If interested in adopting, fostering, or fostering to adopt Sadie please fill out an application here http://www.bestfriendsforlifeanimalrescue.com/ Sadie I'm thinking maybe we could rest and dream This world in not enough for me Sadie This may sound crazy but I don't always dream I just can't fall asleep without you I'm counting down the days since I've seen your smile, your face- from 'Sadie' by The Bunny The Bear. Sadie is a sweet 2 year old Shepherd mix weighing 55 lbs. She is already house and crate trained and is working on improving her leash manners. She can be a little shy at first but quickly resumes her sweet loving affectionate demeanor. She is good with other dogs. She has not been around cats so we are unsure how she would react to them. She made the road trip from a Kansas shelter to our rescue in CT quite well. Sadie is already spayed, up to date on all vaccinations, current on preventatives, and micro chipped. All she needs now is her very own forever loving family and home where the world will finally be a good place. Will you be the one who will give her a wonderful life where together you can rest and dream? Will you be the one who will always come back to Sadie?

Story
Braelyn is a 18 week old shepherd/ husky mix, who currently weighs 18 pounds. Braelyn was surrendered to a southern rescue at one week old after her owner decided he no longer wanted to deal with newborn puppies. Now 16 weeks later, Braelyn is ready for a new home. Braelyn is more on the shy side and wants to be held. She likes to keep to herself rather than tussle with her siblings. Braelyn loves to sit in your lap and will follow you all around the house. Braelyn has done well with crate training and is working on house training. She has been around cats and dogs of all ages and sizes. She hasn’t been around young kids but due to her age and sweet temperament, her foster believes she would be fine. Braelyn is spayed, up to date on vaccines, current on preventatives, and microchipped. If you think this sweet girl is right fit for your family please fill out application online at Www.bestfriendsforlifeanimalrescue.com

Story
4 Females and 4 Males make up this beautiful litter of German Shepherd and Lab mix puppies. Born on June 25th, these babies didn’t ask to come into the world. They have been denied by every rescue in the south Texas area, to no fault of their own. We knew we couldn’t turn our back on them. Pip, Cleopatra, Zara, Nova, Jasper, Archie, Dodger and Bertie are some of the most calm, gentle, and such sweet, sweet babies you’ll meet. They do not have a mean bone in their body. As of 9/22 they weigh between 18-23 lbs – their dad is a pure-bred German Shepherd, and the mom is a petite (35 lbish) lab mix. We believe these pups will be around 60-65 lbs once full grown. These 8 pups LOVE to play. They love their toys, especially the tug-o-war ones! When they’re super happy, they do zoomies around the yard in pure excitement and happiness. They have been exposed to cats, and they have no issues with them. If anything, the cats bother the puppies hah. They have also met other dogs and love every doggy they meet. These 8 pups have been around elderly people since they were born, the owner of the parents is in his 70s, so they have grown up knowing not to jump, to be gentle and kind. They are VERY laid back. They are all quite submissive, and just go with the flow. They’re very curious and VERY smart. They learn quickly and are very eager to please their humans. They would thrive in almost every type of environment as they’re such good puppies. Very food motivated – they love their breakfast, lunch and dinner and come running when the bucket shakes with food. They’re obsessed with treats, and not picky at all. They’re happy with whatever you have to give them. The females are a little bit more calm than the males, but they all wag their tails when being held and we know with one on one time, they will come out of their shell and be the beautiful, glowing, sweet, SUPER kiss-giving puppies they really are. You can apply to adopt one of these beauties at www.pawsitive-impact-animal-rescue.org
