Story
Aiden (blue collar) is one of a litter of six puppies dumped on a country road. They appear to be German shepherd mixes. The puppies have just turned 3 months of age. They are fairly small and will stay on the smaller side. The puppies were very friendly and well-socialized when they were found, and they are currently in a foster home with 5 other dogs, children, and cats. They have expressed no interest in the cooped chickens on the property, so we think they can be trained to behave with free-range chickens. Their foster mom is working with them on house behavior. Aiden is one of two males. He is a typical playful and curious puppy. He is active and loves playing with toys and his siblings. The fosters' children lug him around like a sack of potatoes. His foster mom says that Aiden is calm, quiet, and gentle. He loves attention but is not pushy. He is great with cats and plays gently with the kitten. This sweet boy deserves a fabulous forever home. He is a puppy that needs guidance, continued socialization, and obedience training. Aiden must be in the house as a loved member of the family. He must be walked on a leash and would like a fenced yard to run and play. Aiden has been neutered and tattooed. He has been vaccinated for rabies and Bordatella. He has received two puppy shots (DAPPvL2) and will receive his third puppy shot on Nov. 8th. He has been started on monthly heartworm and flea prevention. Aiden is located in Texas but can be transported after he is adopted. His adoption fee includes the cost of ground transport by a reputable and trusted transport company to Glastonbury, Danbury, Lisbon CT, or another scheduled stop closest to you. Emery is one of four females. She is a typical playful and curious puppy. She is active and loves playing with toys and her siblings. The fosters' children lug her around like a sack of potatoes. Emery's foster mom says that she is the friendliest of the bunch. She is talkative and makes little noises that are so cute. Emery loves attention and wants nothing more than to be a family dog. Story
This big girl’s name is Stella. She is a 4 year old German Shepherd. Her birthday is February 1st. She is a very loving dog, as big as she is, she believes that she is a lap dog. She loves cuddles and kisses. Loves to be outside, loves to play. Very energetic. She’s quirky and can be silly at times. She’s great with kids and adults. She’s lived with previous dogs before and she is well behaved with them as well - she may growl if another dog comes close to her food, but no other aggression shown, none at all to people. I want her to be adopted by someone who has the time and energy that this beautiful girl needs and deserves. She is currently cooped up most of the day due to living arrangements, so I would like her new home to at least have a big yard for her to run around in, or someone who is willing to take her on walks or to the park very often as she loves to be outside. She does like to pull on the leash - so preferably someone who can handle/train her.

Story
This lovely girl is already here and looking for a place where she can lay her head down every night to rest and dream. If interested in adopting, fostering, or fostering to adopt Sadie please fill out an application here http://www.bestfriendsforlifeanimalrescue.com/ Sadie I'm thinking maybe we could rest and dream This world in not enough for me Sadie This may sound crazy but I don't always dream I just can't fall asleep without you I'm counting down the days since I've seen your smile, your face- from 'Sadie' by The Bunny The Bear. Sadie is a sweet 2 year old Shepherd mix weighing 55 lbs. She is already house and crate trained and is working on improving her leash manners. She can be a little shy at first but quickly resumes her sweet loving affectionate demeanor. She is good with other dogs. She has not been around cats so we are unsure how she would react to them. She made the road trip from a Kansas shelter to our rescue in CT quite well. Sadie is already spayed, up to date on all vaccinations, current on preventatives, and micro chipped. All she needs now is her very own forever loving family and home where the world will finally be a good place. Will you be the one who will give her a wonderful life where together you can rest and dream? Will you be the one who will always come back to Sadie?
