Story
Jackie O was picked up stray by a city animal control facility and has been there since 10/23/25. (AAA is helping get her info out so she can find the home she deserves). She is patiently waiting for her ticket out. She is a charismatic and highly social gal who has been to many adoption events and attracted tons of attention but still hasn't had any takers... She is extremely playful and we recently figured out at an event that she is a doll with kids!

Story
Located in Tennessee but can be transported to you through Rescue Riders. This young boy was found as a stray and the finders could not keep him. He is a friendly boy who is with another dog and has done fine. We assume he is housetrained and does well in a car. He does know some commands and has done well on walks. He is all fixed and ready to go.

Story
Bandit – 7 Month Old Female German Shepherd with a Splash of Husky Hi there. My name is Bandit, and I am a 7 month old Female German Shepherd with a little Husky mixed in. I am the only one in my litter who ended up with that Husky flair, so I guess you could say I’m a little extra special. At the beginning of March I weighed in at a strong 71 pounds when I was spayed and microchipped, so I’m already a big girl and still growing into these paws. I was the perfect patient and took all my medicine like a champ, especially when it was tucked into some tasty wet food. Like most young shepherds, I am full of energy and excitement. I would love an active family that enjoys playtime and being outdoors. I love chasing a ball, chewing on bones, and playing with my brother and sister. My best friend right now is actually a Great Dane, so I can definitely keep up with the big dogs. Stuffed toys don’t last very long around me. My favorite game is seeing how fast I can remove the stuffing and make it look like it snowed in South Texas. There is an outdoor cat where I live now, but she prefers to keep her distance, so I am not quite sure how I would do with a friendly feline. When it comes to people, I am a total sweetheart. I love to snuggle with my foster parents every chance I get and I will happily give out kisses if you let me. If you rub my chest or belly, I will melt right into your lap. I am also great with the foster grandkids who are 4 and 8 years old. Sometimes I get a little excited and accidentally knock the little one over, but I always apologize with lots of kisses. I am house trained and use a doggy door. I am not crate trained yet, but my foster family is working with me on leash training and getting more comfortable meeting new people. I can be a little reserved at first, but with patience, encouragement, and a few treats, I warm up quickly. My foster parents even had DNA tests done on my parents. My mom is 100% German Shepherd and my dad is 81% German Shepherd and 19% Husky, which explains my beautiful looks. I was born on July 21, 2025. I am spayed, microchipped, and current on vaccines and preventions. Now all I need is a loving forever family to call my own. Go ahead and submit an adoption application for me now! $250 Local Adoption Fee (Texas) $550 Out of State Fee (includes transport to your area)

Story
Boomer – 7 Month Old German Shepherd with a Splash of Husky Hi there! My name is Boomer, and I am a 7 month old German Shepherd with a little Husky mixed in. I earned my name because of my big feet, my large size, and the way I boom through the house with endless energy. My enthusiastic “woo-woo” songs at mealtime probably helped seal the deal too. Speaking of size, I am currently the heavyweight champ of my litter. At the beginning of March, when I was neutered and microchipped, I weighed in at an impressive 76 pounds. I was a very good boy and took all my medicine as long as it was hidden in wet food. I did end up having to wear the dreaded cone of shame for a bit because I liked my incision a little too much. Did I mention that I have lots of energy? I love chasing a ball, especially when my foster dad throws it. Sometimes I chase the ball and sometimes I chase my foster dad instead. Both options are equally fun. I also like to “borrow” bones, sticks, and toys from my sisters so we can play tug-of-war or roughhouse around the yard. My auntie, who happens to be a Great Dane, is one of my favorite playmates. There is an outdoor cat where I live now who keeps her distance. Most of the time I do not pay much attention to her because I would rather be exploring or looking for something fun to do. When playtime is over, my favorite thing is getting chest and ear rubs from my foster parents. I will happily climb right into your lap for some attention, even though I am a pretty big boy. I have also been good with the foster grandkids, who are 4 and 8 years old. Because of my size and excitement, I might do best in a home with slightly older kids who can keep up with my playful personality. I am house trained and use a doggy door. I am not crate trained yet, but my foster family is working with me on leash training and meeting new people. I can be a little cautious at first, but with patience, encouragement, and a few treats, I warm up quickly. My foster family even had DNA tests done on my parents. My mom is 100% German Shepherd, and my dad is 81% German Shepherd and 19% Husky, which explains my handsome looks. I was born on July 21, 2025 at 1:05 AM. I am neutered, microchipped, and up to date on all vaccines and preventions. Now I just need a forever family to share all my energy, love, and goofy personality with. Go ahead and submit an adoption application for me now! $250 Local Fee (in Texas) $550 Out of State Fee (includes transport to your area)
