Story
This is heartbreaking. Eddie was rescued at 11 months old. He is a purebred GSD and a joy. We recently welcomed a newborn into the house and he has become too protective. Also, the matriarch of the house is on palliative care for terminal cancer. There are many health care professionals coming in and out and he is just too protective. Eddie loves long walks and dog parks. He has been around many children of all ages and done quite well. He is now 6 years old and has always done regular vet checks. Eddie has lived with a golden retriever since coming to the home. They get along beautifully.Eddie is currently living with a family that adores him in Connecticut. He has passed 2 obedience classes and is extremely intelligent. Our home has a fenced in yard, so he is used to playing outside a couple of hours each day.

Story
You won't find a more handsome, intelligent or silly boy than Sidney. He is about 3.5 years old and weighs 84 lbs. Sidney is a very intelligent fellow, he learns quicky and is anxious to please. He will do well with a job and/or a lot of stimulation, long walks and hikes. He will do well with an experienced dog person. Sidney loves meeting new people. He has done well with large dogs he has met, however he is would not be good with small dogs or cats. Sidney does show some barrier reactivity, however, when the barrier is removed (whether it is a crate, fence or car window) he shows absolutely no issues. Because Sidney likes a lot of activity, he will need a securely fenced yard (must be a physical fence, not an electric or invisible system) He is neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped and on monthly treatment for flea/ticks and heartworm prevention Sidney is currently located in the Middle TN area but transport is included in the adoption fee for approved adopter If you are interested in Sidney, email rookiesrescue@yahoo.com for an application

Story
Tali’Zorah (Tali for short), is a great family dog. We got her at six months and she is now 2 years old. She previously lived with another dog peacefully after an introduction period, so she may be fine with another dog in the home depending on size. She has never lived with a cat. Unfortunately, after a divorce and relocation she is just not happy in the small apt I can afford. She loves to play fetch and literally loves anyone who will throw a ball for her. She can be reactive to dogs on walks, but she wasn’t prior to being in an apartment, so I feel it is related to no longer being able to run around in the yard. She is great with my daughter who is 8. I really think she deserves the family with a home life that she had before. She is crate trained for when I have to be out. No health issues or known allergies.

Story
SAMMIE IS IN HIS FOSTER HOME IN MEMPHIS, TN AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED TO CT ONCE HE IS ADOPTED!    "Hey there, I'm Sammie! I am a social butterfly who loves every dog I meet and really hope my future home has other pups to play with! In my foster home, my favorite times are snuggle time, playtime, and dinner time! I'm a pro at cleaning my plate. I am a bit curious about the resident kitty in my foster home, but I promise I've never been anything but polite! I'm well versed in 'sit' and adore a game of fetch. Give me a backyard, and I'll run myself into nap time. I've made many furry and human friends in my foster home, and they all seem to think I'm great! I'm working on mastering the leash and to not bark, but I am getting into the crate when asked! If you have a couch and endless love to give, I'm ready to be yours!" He is 4 years old and 65 lbs. He is fully vetted including neuter, microchip, and all shots including rabies shot. His adoption fee of $600 includes the transport to CT. We use a licensed and registered USDA transport company that will bring Sammie up north after he is adopted.     To apply to adopt Sammie, go here:  http://www.newbeginningsanimalrescue.net .    Any questions, email us at newbeginnings_animalrescue@yahoo.com .     THANK YOU FOR CONSIDERING ADOPTING A RESCUED PET!Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.March 7, 2026, 10:36 am
