Through lots of love and care (and plenty of kibble!) We were able to get all of her litter back into good shape, happy, and growing. Tempe herself is a great dog: very loving, friendly and energetic. She gets along well with people, children and other dogs. Could probably use some more exposure with cats. She's a water dog! I came to the rescue ALMOST 4 YEARS AGO! And all my family has already been adopted but I am still waiting............................................ And I am not sure WHY, except I am a smart and busy boy. I would do best in a single dog home...one great thing about me is...you don't have to trudge me to the dog park.... i prefer to be at home with YOU. I am good with cats too!! Now, if you know the Belgian Malinois breed you will know that exercising my body is good, but it just makes me stronger and have more stamina ;) So you have to ALSO exercise my brain- that is the way to wear me out ;) Doggy puzzles, wearing a weighted backpack, all kinds of ways to do that! I was saved by a trapper on the streets, they weren't even there to save ME that day, but they did!!! I am obviously a beautiful girl, big and solid as well as black and brindly. I am a loving girl, in my own way... i lived on the streets for who knows how long and I honestly am not a cuddly girl or even a sit by your feet dog, YET... I have all kinds of love to give, you can see in my eyes that I have always dreamed of someone with the patience to love me for who I am and who I can be!! I am great on a leash and do love walking around and exploring. I am good with other dogs and likely would do best with another dog who is calm and confident with his/her family.
