Story
This handsome fella is Effie! He is a 1 year old neutered male German Shepherd mix, weighing about 40 lbs. He is good with dogs of all sizes/energy levels, people, and kids! He has not been cat tested but is reactive to squirrels/rabbits, so we feel he would probably do best in a home without cats or small critters. Effie is housebroken, but may have an occasional accident if not taken out on a schedule. He is crate trained and loves his crate! Effie knows basic commands and does well on a leash, but could use some work on pulling. From Effie's current foster: "Effie is an outgoing, friendly, and playful pup! He is sweet and cuddly. He enjoys running around and going to the park. He likes to play with other dogs and his favorite toy is a chew bone! Effie is smart, listens well, and does well with training!" Apply to meet Effie today! ##1874943##

Story
This lovely girl is already here and looking for a place where she can lay her head down every night to rest and dream. If interested in adopting, fostering, or fostering to adopt Sadie please fill out an application here http://www.bestfriendsforlifeanimalrescue.com/ Sadie I'm thinking maybe we could rest and dream This world in not enough for me Sadie This may sound crazy but I don't always dream I just can't fall asleep without you I'm counting down the days since I've seen your smile, your face- from 'Sadie' by The Bunny The Bear. Sadie is a sweet 2 year old Shepherd mix weighing 55 lbs. She is already house and crate trained and is working on improving her leash manners. She can be a little shy at first but quickly resumes her sweet loving affectionate demeanor. She is good with other dogs. She has not been around cats so we are unsure how she would react to them. She made the road trip from a Kansas shelter to our rescue in CT quite well. Sadie is already spayed, up to date on all vaccinations, current on preventatives, and micro chipped. All she needs now is her very own forever loving family and home where the world will finally be a good place. Will you be the one who will give her a wonderful life where together you can rest and dream? Will you be the one who will always come back to Sadie?

Story
Braelyn is a 18 week old shepherd/ husky mix, who currently weighs 18 pounds. Braelyn was surrendered to a southern rescue at one week old after her owner decided he no longer wanted to deal with newborn puppies. Now 16 weeks later, Braelyn is ready for a new home. Braelyn is more on the shy side and wants to be held. She likes to keep to herself rather than tussle with her siblings. Braelyn loves to sit in your lap and will follow you all around the house. Braelyn has done well with crate training and is working on house training. She has been around cats and dogs of all ages and sizes. She hasn’t been around young kids but due to her age and sweet temperament, her foster believes she would be fine. Braelyn is spayed, up to date on vaccines, current on preventatives, and microchipped. If you think this sweet girl is right fit for your family please fill out application online at Www.bestfriendsforlifeanimalrescue.com

Spayed or Neutered,
Story
Gabby (as we call her) was dumped at a local kill shelter along with her 7 pups. Thankfully our wonderful volunteer stepped up to foster. Gabby was heartworm positive and had to be treated and now she is very healthy and ready for her forever home. She is fostered with other dogs big and small and loves the little girl she is pictured with as well as any other human she meets. She loves to fetch and go for walks and rides and will make a great addition to any home ready for a large active dog. Her foster mom says she is just perfect and anyone who adopts is very lucky. if are interested in adopting our sweet Gabby, please visit FunnyFarmpets.org so you can read all about our Tennessee based rescue and how the adoption and transport processes work. You can submit your application to adopt at the following link. https://www.shelterluv.com/matchme/adopt/FFRR/Dog Her adoption fee will be $325, if Transport from West Tennessee is necessary that would be an additional $200 charge .
