Story
Juanita is as close to perfect as you can get. She came from a cruelty case and despite her rough start to life, she hasn't lost her ability to trust humans. She is potty trained and crate trained. She loves to go for walks, sneak up on the bed the minute you're not looking, and kiss her humans on the chin. She is slow to warm up to men, and would prefer a home with older children (she's wary of loud noises and quick movements). She is looking for a home that will help her on her weight loss journey and will patiently introduce her to new people and experiences to help build her confidence. Juanita is a 4-year-old mixed breed rescued from a high-intake shelter. This dog's adoption fee is $250 and includes up-to-date vaccinations, microchip, 4DX testing, and spay. Juanita is also tested with other dogs, children, kennel trained, and housebroken. She is not tested with cats. We would love for you to meet this dog and see if she might be a good fit for your home. The first step to adoption is completing an adoption application on our website at www.bounceanimalrescue.org. Pending approval, your application is valid for 1 year, and you will be eligible to request a hold on an individual animal for the Saturday adoption event. The hold does not require that you take the animal home, but ensures you get to meet and make an adoption decision prior to other applicants. Also pending approval, you will be able to acquire foster home contact information, so you inquire on personalities of specific animals. We do offer midweek private adoption appointments for approved applicants pending staff, foster home, and vetting schedules. Because we are 100% foster-based, private adoption appointments are only offered for individual animals. (If interested in viewing multiple animals at one time, we encourage you to attend our adoption events!) Please note, we do not have the ability to process adoption applications at our adoption events, so please plan accordingly. If an application is submitted past 5pm on Monday-Thursday, it will begin review the following day. If submitted on Friday-Sunday, it will begin review on Monday. It takes approximately 1-2 business days for an application to be processed. Our adoption events take place every Saturday from 10am-Noon at Pet Supplies Plus (Front Range Village, 2912 Council Tree Ave #100, Fort Collins, 80525). For additional questions regarding meeting this dog please contact us via text/email at 970.699.6772, or contact@bounceanimalrescue.org. We apologize for any inconvenience, but due to a high volume of inquiries, calls and voicemails regarding adoption will not be returned. Thank you for choosing adoption! If you would like more information on our organization please visit our website at www.bounceanimalrescue.org.

Story
Meet Becca! This beautiful girl is ready to find her forever home! Bonus: we're pretty sure her satellite ears get all the local channels. From her current foster: "Becca has been getting better every day! She loves to play fetch, go in the car, lay in your lap and chew on toys. She is very protective of her people and takes a bit to adjust to new people. She has worked a lot on getting used to men and passing cars. She is just a big puppy that doesn't know how big she is. She settles down in her kennel really good and sleeps all night. Becca is really good at sitting and listening to commands when you have her focus, She really is a love bug!! "We have lovingly nick named Becca as Bumble B. B will come when you call, sit and lay down. She is crate trained (barking/whinning is a test if you will really leave her in there and subsides quickly once comfortable in the home). B LOVES; playing with other dogs, splashing in her water bowl, chasing sprinklers, a good game of tug-o-war, and getting all the attention. She will provide you with tons of love and laughs free of charge. However, B will protect you fiercely. She has stranger danger and does not want anyone in her home that she thinks doesn't belong (A shower does make you a new person, but for only a moment). I would not list her as cat friendly at this time, and with kids I would be cautious. We had one nip (no broken skin) but since then we have had zeros issues biting intentionally. She is still a puppy meaning she can be mouthy, and no toes are not off limits. This silly Bumble B needs someone as special as her. Someone who will take the time to work through her fears, and provide her with the stability/structure she needs! Her previous foster says that "Becca has become a cuddle enthusiast. She's learned "sit and "come. She's still working on potty training but is having fewer and fewer accidents indoors. She sleeps in the bed with us and sleeps through the night with no potty accidents. She chases cars but we're working on that. She's overcome her fear of strangers! She also plays well with other dogs. She will definitely need a home that can provide lots of exercise and stimulation. She's a very smart girl but requires a lot of patience because she's mischievous haha." ADOPTION FEE: $550 We are a foster-based rescue and generally do not have pups available to meet at our office except during adoption events on Saturdays. Not every dog attends every adoption event. Interested in this pup? The first step is to complete our online application by clicking the "Apply for Adoption" button. Please note that we are only able to finalize adoptions at events for approved adopters. The earlier you apply, the better as it takes time to review and approve applications. ADOPTION FEE: $500 Meet Giselle, Geneva, and Gideon! These three pups were surrendered to our rescue partner with significant hair loss. They have been treated for mange and our ready to find their forever homes! From Giselle's foster: "Giselle is the biggest goofball. She loves playing and chewing on treats. She's super smart and likes working her brain by learning new skills. She currently knows how to sit, stay, and come. We've been working on potty training and she's starting to get the hang of it. This gal is a bit mouthy (in a playful way) so I would not recommend her for a family with young children. When we go on walks she likes to hold her leash in her mouth. She's definitely more of a mosey along kind of dog on walks, but I don't doubt she'd love a yard to run around in. She's got the sweetest eyes and biggest paws, and loves cuddling on the couch." They have been treated for mange and our ready to find their forever homes! From his wonderful foster: "Gideon is continuing to flourish into the goodest boy! Working on potty, crate, and basic training he is excelling and such a smart boy! He is still has puppy energy and everyone who meets him is instantly smitten by him" From Gideon's amazing foster: " Gideon is very playful and is looking much better after a few baths! He is doing well with crate and potty training. He does think he is bigger than he actually is so he is a little barky but after a while he snuggles with every dog."
