Story
Meet Becca! This beautiful girl is ready to find her forever home! Bonus: we're pretty sure her satellite ears get all the local channels. From her current foster: "Becca has been getting better every day! She loves to play fetch, go in the car, lay in your lap and chew on toys. She is very protective of her people and takes a bit to adjust to new people. She has worked a lot on getting used to men and passing cars. She is just a big puppy that doesn't know how big she is. She settles down in her kennel really good and sleeps all night. Becca is really good at sitting and listening to commands when you have her focus, She really is a love bug!! "We have lovingly nick named Becca as Bumble B. B will come when you call, sit and lay down. She is crate trained (barking/whinning is a test if you will really leave her in there and subsides quickly once comfortable in the home). B LOVES; playing with other dogs, splashing in her water bowl, chasing sprinklers, a good game of tug-o-war, and getting all the attention. She will provide you with tons of love and laughs free of charge. However, B will protect you fiercely. She has stranger danger and does not want anyone in her home that she thinks doesn't belong (A shower does make you a new person, but for only a moment). I would not list her as cat friendly at this time, and with kids I would be cautious. We had one nip (no broken skin) but since then we have had zeros issues biting intentionally. She is still a puppy meaning she can be mouthy, and no toes are not off limits. This silly Bumble B needs someone as special as her. Someone who will take the time to work through her fears, and provide her with the stability/structure she needs! Her previous foster says that "Becca has become a cuddle enthusiast. She's learned "sit and "come. She's still working on potty training but is having fewer and fewer accidents indoors. She sleeps in the bed with us and sleeps through the night with no potty accidents. She chases cars but we're working on that. She's overcome her fear of strangers! She also plays well with other dogs. She will definitely need a home that can provide lots of exercise and stimulation. She's a very smart girl but requires a lot of patience because she's mischievous haha." ADOPTION FEE: $550 We are a foster-based rescue and generally do not have pups available to meet at our office except during adoption events on Saturdays. Not every dog attends every adoption event. Interested in this pup? The first step is to complete our online application by clicking the "Apply for Adoption" button. Please note that we are only able to finalize adoptions at events for approved adopters. The earlier you apply, the better as it takes time to review and approve applications. We host adoption events almost every Saturday from 10:00am to 1:00pm at our rescue office (1721 W Harmony, unit 102, Fort Collins, Co 80526)! ADOPTION FEE: $500 Meet Giselle, Geneva, and Gideon! These three pups were surrendered to our rescue partner with significant hair loss. They have been treated for mange and our ready to find their forever homes! From Giselle's foster: "Giselle is the biggest goofball. She loves playing and chewing on treats. She's super smart and likes working her brain by learning new skills. She currently knows how to sit, stay, and come. We've been working on potty training and she's starting to get the hang of it. This gal is a bit mouthy (in a playful way) so I would not recommend her for a family with young children. When we go on walks she likes to hold her leash in her mouth. She's definitely more of a mosey along kind of dog on walks, but I don't doubt she'd love a yard to run around in. She's got the sweetest eyes and biggest paws, and loves cuddling on the couch." More from her foster: "Giselle is the biggest goofball. She loves playing and chewing on treats. She's super smart and likes working her brain by learning new skills. She currently knows how to sit, stay, and come, we've been working on drop it and leave it which she's getting the hang of. We've also been making progress on potty training. This gal is a bit mouthy (in a playful way- I honestly don't think there's an aggressive bone in her body) so I would not recommend her for a family with young children. Even though she likes to explore with her mouth she takes treats so gently and also likes to give kisses once she gets to know you. When we go on walks she likes to hold her leash in her mouth. She's definitely more of a mosey along kind of dog on walks, but I don't doubt she'd love a yard to run around in, she has zoomies in the house all the time. Giselle is a bit shy when it comes to meeting new people and experiencing new things but once she gets to know you you have a friend for life. She's got the sweetest eyes and biggest paws, and loves cuddling on the couch with you. Giselle is also crate trained for both the night time and when you leave the house." ADOPTION FEE: $500 Meet Giselle, Geneva, and Gideon! These three pups were surrendered to our rescue partner with significant hair loss. They have been treated for mange and our ready to find their forever homes! From his wonderful foster: "Gideon is continuing to flourish into the goodest boy! Working on potty, crate, and basic training he is excelling and such a smart boy! He is still has puppy energy and everyone who meets him is instantly smitten by him" From Gideon's amazing foster: " Gideon is very playful and is looking much better after a few baths! He is doing well with crate and potty training. He does think he is bigger than he actually is so he is a little barky but after a while he snuggles with every dog." Hi, I am Legend. I am a sweet, calm and gentle pup looking for a home. I like to explore, chew on bones and get neck rubs. I can be fearful when first meeting new people and going to new places so I need a home without children under 12 so I can warm up at my own pace. Once comfortable I am very sweet and affectionate. I would love to be a part of your family.

Story
Howdy! I'm Jack and I am guessed to be a smaller 1 yr old GSD mix around 70 lbs. I was pretty shy when I first got to Colorado, but I have gained a lot of confidence in just a few days. I love to be around people and I'm good with other dogs. I am also good on a leash. That means I'd be a great companion for adventures and other outings. When I'm with people, I can be a great snuggler and enjoy getting some loving. I am such a sweet boy....come see me in Windsor!
