HIGHLIGHTS:-Needs an adult-only home or with children older than 15-Needs an active family#### Hi, I`m Cash! I`m a 3-year-old male German Shepherd, weighing in at 67 pounds, and I`m looking for my forever home. At first, I can be a bit shy and nervous when entering new places, but once I feel safe, my friendly and curious nature shines through. I stick close to anyone I`ve deemed a friend, and I’m known to be a loyal companion. When I`m near someone I trust, I lean in for support, showing just how much their presence means to me. I’m likely to become your Velcro best friend, always by your side. I can be quite talkative and opinionated, especially when I have something important to say in the kennel. I’m a bit tentative with other dogs at first, but I warm up quickly and soon start to interact and play. I have a bit of a fear of missing out (FOMO), always watching the action around me and wanting to join in, even if I’m a little cautious about it. I love going for daily walks on a leash and would also make a strong hiking buddy, ready to take on adventures with you. Whether I’m the only dog in your home or have a trusted canine friend, I’ll be happy as long as I’m with those I love. If you’re looking for a loyal, protective, and adventurous companion, I might be just the dog for you. Let’s explore the world together and make unforgettable memories! Love, Cash* * * *Prior to being rescued, many of our dogs have experienced minimal socialization. As a result, there is often an adjustment period when learning about life as a family pet. We typically do not adopt to homes with young children. Homes with older children will be considered on an individual basis. Common skills such as house training and leash walking will often take a little extra time. Patience, understanding and a gentle hand are a must. The great news is, most of these dogs come around rather quickly and being a part of their rehabilitation is an extremely rewarding experience. Hi, I’m Scooby! A shy but sweet pup who loves fetch, stuffed animals, and milk bones. I’m crate trained but may need a little help with potty training. I’ve lived with dogs and cats, but I take time to warm up to new people—please let me come to you first! Because I’m shy, a quiet, child-free home would be best. If you’re looking for a loyal companion who just needs a little extra love, I’m your guy!

Story
Hi there! My name`s Grizzly Bruin, but you can just call me Grizzly. I`m a BIG boy, but I`m still a puppy at heart! I have lots of energy and I love to run and explore. I seem to do well with older kids. I`m starting to learn some manners and I have lots of potential, but I`ll need an owner who can provide me with guidance and structure so I can be the best boy I can be. I like to be the center of attention and as such would love to be the only pet in my new home! Will you be my new family? If you are interested in adding me to your family, please call TCRAS at 719-686-7707 to set up an appointment!

Story
Hello there! My name is Tay Tay! I am so ready to find my forever home. I am a bit of an adventurous kind of gal. I love exploring and finding out new things about this world. I am not a big fan of other dogs, so a home without other dogs may be best for me. I do love people and children. I am working really hard here at the shelter on becoming a well-mannered girl. I will need an owner who can continue my training so I can be the best girl I can be! I am a medium-sized girl and weigh about 64 pounds. Will you be my new family? If you think I am the perfect girl for your home, please call the shelter at 719-686-7707 to schedule an appointment to meet me!

Story
Hello! I'm a sweet and shy 13yr old boy who wants a calm household. I would not do well living in an apartment/condo/townhome, but I would excel at keeping your yard free from critters. I play nicely with other dogs, and don't let my age fool you...I still have plenty of pep in my step! I can't wait to love you! I am very timid with new people. I need an adopter who can commit to multiple meetings over time before I could come home with you. Loud noises are scary so a calm and quiet living environment with only one or two adults would be best for me. I would not do well living in an apartment or shared wall situation. I need a fenced yard. I'm crate trained and dog-door trained! I love to play with other dogs. I'd love a dog friend to play with me and a big back yard to run around in. I need a quiet home with only one or two people. I love to work for treats! I need to have a house with fenced in yard. I don’t have experience being around cats. I don't like loud noises. Children are often loud, so I prefer to not be around them. I would do best in a home without children. I’m shy but I love relaxed and loving people. I’m crate trained and dog-door trained!

Story
Indy is a shy 10-month-old German Shepherd mix. She is very smart and food motivated and would benefit from continued training to build her confidence. She would do best in a patient and experienced home where she can learn to trust her humans. Once she learns to trust you, she is very sweet and loves nothing more than snuggling and going on car rides. Indy would like a home with another social dog as she loves playing with her dog friends. Because of her shy demeanor, she would do best in a home with adults only, and no children under 13. Indy loves playing with a variety of toys, and especially loves bones, rope toys, and toys with squeakers. She'd love a home with a yard to run around in and continue to explore the world. If you're looking for a sweet, smart, and playful pup, Indy is the one for you! Indy's adoption fee includes a personalized training program.
