Story
My name is Dana I am almost two. I was adopted a couple summers ago, but my older sister has started picking fights with me, so my dad wants me to live somewhere safer for me. I am a very smart german shepherd cross. I have learned how to open the back door by myself and to get out of any chain link fence by opening the gate. I need a home where I can fulfill my active lifestyle. I am a very active girl and enjoy running around and wrestling with my siblings. I currently live with my older sister and a dachshund brother. I like to play, and have a rowdy playstyle, so would be best matched with another dog that appreciates that! I am very smart and have learned how to sit and stay. I look forward to meeting you and hoping you can teach me new and wonderful things. If you're interested in meeting me please fill out an application at www.thegooddogrescue.org (If you already have an approved application, please email thegooddogrescueadoptions@gmail.com with your interest in me!) My adoption fee is $300 and I am spayed, microchipped and up to date on vaccinations ##1745197##

Story
Hi there, my name is Leila. I'm the best dog greeter in my doggie daycare. I love balls and toys, going for car rides and love to play with dogs and people.  I walk well on leash, but am scared of bikes and scooters - wheelie things are weird!  I am extremely affectionate and loveable. I have a million facial expressions. I love being outside and playing in the snow. I'm working on my nice leash walking, but am making good progress. I love to explore and sometimes my nose leads me off path.  I would make a great addition to an active home preferably with another dog!  If you're interested in meeting me please fill out an application at www.thegooddogrescue.org (If you already have an approved application, please email thegooddogrescueadoptions@gmail.com with your interest in me!) Story
Prior to coming to EAPL Janis had a litter of puppies and a skin condition due to poor living conditions. She is all healed now and is sporting her new, healthy, glossy coat. She has the cutest speckled tippy toes. Janis is a petite girl at 35 lbs. She is extremely sweet and gentle and great with other dogs. Although she is listed as a GSD mix, her foster mom thinks there could also be some cattle dog in her. She is a sweet girl who has never met a stranger and wants nothing but to cuddle in your lap. She loves to be on the bed or couch with you and really enjoys playing outside in the yard with you. Janis seems like a super low-maintenance girl and doesn't seem bothered by much of anything. Just thrilled to share space with you and cuddle! Janis was previously fostered in an apartment, but would do better in a home in the mountains or country with a lovely yard where she can explore and play. Her adoption fee is $375 Put in an application at eapl.comMarch 6, 2025, 10:24 am

Story
Buddy, this boy is an absolute delight!  He is almost a year old but a pure puppy.  He loves to play with toys...anything with a rope, and he is a happy boy.  He knows how to sit on command and is working diligently on the down command! We are also working on not pulling while on a leash, but he gets so excited on his walkies that pulling happens. He is crate trained (He will whimper for a few minutes before settling, and he gets a treat every time he goes in the crate.)  He needs an extra large crate.  He is potty trained (He will sit by the door and pace when he needs to go.)  He sleeps through the night.  We let him sleep outside of his crate at night.  He loves snuggles, and if you let him he will be a lap dog (he doesn't know his own size.)  He gets along great with other dogs and is very curious about our cat, but the cat has never gotten close enough to see what would happen.  He can go a full 8 hours without a bathroom break.  Buddy has a little bit of an anxious temperament around new people and places and takes a bit of time to warm up.  The ideal home for Buddy would be one with another dog to play with and patient people to make him feel at ease. Put in an application at eapl.com His adoption fee is $375    March 10, 2025, 12:21 pm
