Meet Jax! Jax is a thin, noodley, wild, jumpy, giant puppy that will bring you so much entertainment and laughter. Jax has spent most of his life in isolation and will need a patient adopter who will be able to build his confidence out in this big new world. For all the love and compassion you give him, this giant goofball will give it back ten fold.Jax was on a refeeding plan when he was originally brought into our care due to how thin he was, but we have successfully completed 2 weeks of refeeding and he is eating normal amounts and treats now (which he is very excited about). Jax is still too thin to be neutered, so he is available to go foster-to-adopt until he has been cleared by our vets. Jax's ideal home is one without other animals. He will chase cats, and although he is very eager to meet other dogs, he can be a bit much to share a space with. Jax is also showing signs of separation anxiety and will need an adopter that can use Animal Kind training methods to improve this behaviour. Jax is somewhat crate trained and we are hoping to continue working on it with him as this could be an essential tool to integrating him into a home. Thank you for your interest in adopting!
