Meet Bruce a 4 year old french bulldog weighing 34 pounds. Please read ENTIRE bio! Bruce was in San Antonio animal care center after being on bit quarantine. This “bite” was not documented so I can neither confirm nor deny that Bruce bit somebody. Bruce is very happy here and I have seen zero aggression from him. Acs was also told that he does not like men however he met two men and was just as happy to see them as the next person. He is wiggly , funny and strong. He knows sit, ,paw, waits for treats and food, and has good potty and leash manners . He is an excellent dog the right person. Bruce can be a dominant dog and does have some of the not always so great traits of a bully breed. He can be stubborn. He does tend to bark a lot when you first leave the house and his bark is LOUD. He appears to have separation anxiety . He needs a home where his human is home a lot. He wants to be with his human as much as possible. Bruce is also dominant with SOME other dogs. Mostly large or dominant dogs. He likes to posture . He would be best adopted to a person with experience of these little potatoes and their sometimes bully tendencies. That being said he has been around puppies and chihuahuas and was fine. He wants nothing to do with that old lady chi sass hahahahaha. The owner surrender also stated he air nips when angry . I have yet to see this from him but I know my bull dog does the air chatter nip thing when she is acting like a capital B. 🙂 He is short and strong. I call him stud muffin. He listens well and loves everyone he meets but because of his prior supposed bite history , we require he placed in a child free home. As far as this possible biting or aggression: I have taken his wet food away from him. I have taken treats out of his mouth. I have taken his toys. Zero reaction. He is just excited I am there. The only time he ever growled was when we were playing tug of war and he got a little pissy because I would not let him win, he did give a little growl that appeared past the point of just “play” I corrected him with a stern NO and took the tot away and then he acted totally emo for the next hour like I killed his best friend. Also a very bully emotion. His coat is very soft and he is fine being groomed. He has shown zero aggression here and honestly has been a very happy, energetic and excitable kid. It is now time for your next chapter . Sully is approximately 10 months to one year-old. And weighs 18 pounds. She came to us after being hit by a car and was just running the streets. No chip not spayed, no tags, no owner. We believe she is a frenchton. French bulldog boston terrier mix. She has a wonderful demeanor and is just the sweetest girl. She is nervous meeting new dogs and people at first but that lasts all of 20 minutes and then she is everyones bff. She loves to play but is a gentle play partner. She loves to cuddle and give lots of kisses. She likes to be geld like a baby. She is usually quiet but gets really excited and barks at breakfast time or sometimes when you first get home, its just excited barking but she is not a big barker. She does not like to be crated at home but crates in the car well for car rides. Sully has hydrocephalus. It does appear to be mild. If you google hydrocephalus dogs, it is going to tell you all these terrible things that, after rescuing hydro dogs for the last 15 years, exist in a small percentage. For the most part Sully acts like a regular dog, just a little special. She does not have any seizures, she gets up and down off the couch . She gets in and out the doggy door. She is a little slow at some things and has a mild depth perception impairment from the hydrocephalus, but she lives a regular happy life and does not appear to be in any pain and has not had any neurological symptoms that some Hydro dogs get. Sully has also recently had an FHO . Because her hip was shattered from (presumably ) getting hit by a car. Currently, she is not putting weight on her left rear leg but the hope is that she will do so in the next 6 to 8 weeks as her scar tissue heals. She will get better and better at using this leg over time but she gets around very well. Her sutures come out on the 20th and she will be ready to go. She needs a special family. Ideally a home with a fenced yard, if children are in the home that they be gentle and dog savvy. The perfect scenario would be a home that is experienced with special needs dogs , especially hydro dogs bc they need a little extra patience ,love and understanding. As well as a home that is willing to help her through her healing journey as her leg will not be fully fully healed for several weeks still up to 3 months before seeing true progress. We all adore her. She is such a wonderful little girl with just a sweet sweet soul. We can’t wait for her to find her forever family. Story
Chloe is a cutie with a ton of personality. I am only rehoming because she really needs extended time outside and needs a home with a backyard. I am just not in the financial position to give that to her. I would not recommend her to a home with babies because she has got a ton of energy but she absolutely loves children and gets along really well with every pet I have had while I have had her. She is very snuggly and loves spending time cuddled up when she is not playing.

This is Coco, he is a feisty little Frenchy. He is sweet and loving to people. He is not good with other dogs. He needs to be the only dog in the home. He likes playing with toys and can jump very high for them. He is house and kennel trained. He loves his food! He is very easy to leash and walk around and goes potty easily while on the leash.
