Story
My Story: I entered the shelter in January 2023 with my mom and seven siblings when I was just a tiny 2-week-old pup. Now, I’m all grown up and ready to find my forever home where I can share my sweet, loving nature with a family who will cherish me. 💖 All About Me: • 🌱 Shy but Sweet: I might be a little shy at first, but with a tasty snack and some gentle patience, I’ll warm up to you in no time. Once I feel comfortable, I’ll even roll over to show you my belly—proof that I trust you! 🍪 • 🐕 Polite with Pups: I enjoy greeting other dogs politely, though I’m not always in the mood to play. I’m more of a peaceful observer, avoiding any drama and just enjoying the company. 🐾 • 🚶‍♀️ Walking Buddy: I love outdoor activities and have plenty of walking experience. I might pull on the leash a bit, but I’m working on it and generally follow along nicely. Sometimes, if I get scared, I might lie flat on the ground, but with your encouragement, I’ll get back on track. 🌳 • 🔇 Quiet and Calm: I’m a quiet girl who hardly ever barks. I’m also very calm when resting in a kennel, making me an easy companion to have around. 🛏️ • 🍽️ Easygoing Eater: I’m not one to guard my food—I’m happy to share space during mealtime and enjoy my snacks with friends. 🥣 • 🚗 A Little Car-Shy: I’m not too keen on getting in the car just yet, and I might need a little help with that. But once I’m settled, I’m ready to go on adventures with you! 🚙 • 💖 Friendly & Loving: After spending a bit of time getting to know you, I’ll come when called and be your affectionate friend. I love people and can’t wait to show you how kind and loving I can be. 🥰 Why You’ll Love Me: I’m a gentle, sweet, and loving dog who’s looking for a patient and caring family. I may be shy at first, but with a little time, I’ll blossom into a loyal and affectionate companion. Whether we’re out on a walk or cuddling up at home, I’m ready to bring joy and love into your life. 🏡💕 Ready to welcome Herb into your life? I can’t wait to meet you and start our journey together—let’s create some wonderful memories! 🐶💖 Snuggles and Wags, Herb 🐾 For more videos: https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLIsLTtIpe3JwhIIGC308Fxl75HA5liArB

Story
🌱All about me🐕 Hi friends! I am a 2 year old French bulldog boy who is affectionate and crate-trained. I got rescued just before euthanasia and is now given an opportunity to live a second life! I call myself a social butterfly as I easily get along with strangers and I am not so shy about showing it! I will approach, wag my tail, and ask for a belly rub. Although I get along well with strangers, I am not overly interested in making new furry friends. I mean, I will still say hi to them but not necessarily play with them. I mean, I rather spend my time with people. If another furry friend tries to pick a fight with me, I will walk away. I also get overwhelmed with friends that are too energetic. I can take my potty break both outside and inside. When I visit new places, there is a chance that I may start marking. I like to go out for walk but I may still need a bit of more training to become a pro. I may pull on the leash but I will try my best to follow you. 😊 After my outdoor activities, I like to relax quietly on my own. I do not guard my food against any people or furry friends. When I meet cats, I will look at them only because I get curious, but I rather stay with my people as I respect them. Oh, did you know that I am also very smart? I got my basic training done in only 3 days! I can understand “sit” and “wait.” I am usually not really a barker, but when I see people, I may bark. I currently do not have any separation anxiety, but I need more time to find out whether it is going to get developed or not. Overall, I am a lovable boy looking for my forever home. If you are looking for a clever friend who is loyal and affectionate, I am confident that I will be the perfect one for you! Please contact my team for details. 💛 For more videos: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wR2LDZLq7fA&list=PLIsLTtIpe3JzFAV40Ps3iHb_4PSGoYMw5

Story
Harley is a very goofy girl who is amazing with all of our staff members. She is a treat-eating machine! One of her favourite things is getting butt rubs, though she also enjoys playing with her food puzzles. She does like to go for walks, but is generally pretty lazy and enjoys lounging. There have been instances of resource guarding with dogs and strangers, so she would do best in a home with no children or other pets. Harley is very loyal to her people and will become your shadow if you give her a chance!

Story
Austin is an independent little guy! He enjoys playing ball, exploring the grass and going for long walks. He will be sure to love you forever if you give him lots of butt scratches. Austin came from a home where kids did not respect his space, therefore he can bite when he is resource guarding. He has been doing amazing with us but will need a home that is comfortable working through this and also allowing Austin to have lots of quiet time and a safe place. Ideally, Austin would do well in a quiet household with only adults.

English Bulldog

Male, 11 yrs 10 mos
King City, ON
Size
(when grown) Large 61-100 lbs (28-45 kg)
Details
Not good with cats, Needs experienced adopter, Spayed or Neutered, Shots are up-to-date,
Story
Mackey was rescued after a life of living outside all alone. This powerhouse is such a fun loving boy! Mackey does not trust new people easily but with a proper introduction and lots of time, he learns to share his things and give affection. Once comfortable with his people, he listens well and is bouncy and playful. Mackey will need an experienced adult family to manage his resource guarding and teach him how to live in a house. Mackey is very intelligent and has learned many different ways to control these behaviors. He will need continued practice with muzzle training for vet visits and boundaries in the home to control his resource guarding. With clear guidance and reward for desired behavior, Mackey can easily learn to live in a home. Mackey has a high prey drive which makes him aggressive towards small dogs and wildlife. He will need lots of control on walks, distance away from all dogs, constant obedience training and positive reinforcement to keep him in a good mindset and paying attention to his owner. Mackey would do best in a house with a fully fenced yard.
