Story
Pearl is a true gem. She offers the best of both worlds. A quiet, gentle, snuggle buddy as well as a playful and energetic comedian while off leash in the yard. She really likes human attention, is a master lover of belly rubs and has done well mingling and frolicking about with other dogs her size in our play yard. She likes to scratch her back in the grass and is always up for a good belly rub. Pearl was rescued in sad shape. She had clearly been neglected and alone for some time. Starving and scared, we took her in and gave her the time she needed to recover and decompress in a loving, nurturing environment where she received all the care she needed. We are thrilled to announce she is ready for her forever home! She'll make for a great lap dog for someone longing to have the quiet, unconditional companionship of a new four-legged best friend. She would thrive in a home where she can be given the love and attention she craves. She likes to socialize with people, is always up for a good pet and if you're willing to give her a belly rub, she'll be your friend forever. Pearl is estimated to be around 7 years old, weighs 28 lbs., is spayed, up to date with vaccinations and micro-chipped. If interested, please email us for an application at adoptions@smilingdogfarms.org Please note, if you’re not ready to adopt but would consider fostering Pearl, we would love to share with your what that means and how much of a positive difference you’d be making in a life of a dog that needs you.

Story
What’s up? Tupac here… yes, THE Tupac. I’ve got big feelings, big opinions, and absolutely zero interest in being told what to do just because you “said so.” Let’s get one thing straight—I’m not your average go-with-the-flow kinda dog. I’m more of a “respect my boundaries and we’ll be cool” type. I’ve got dominant energy, a little anxiety, and a personal belief that authority is often… negotiable. I’d really prefer to be your one and only. I can live with other dogs and even cats, but if things don’t go my way? Let’s just say…I will pick fights. For everyone’s peace, single-dog status is my best life. The good news? I’m basically a gentleman in many important ways: Potty trained? Obviously. Kennel trained? Like a pro. Leash walks? Nailed it. Car rides? Shotgun superstar. Baths? I suppose I’ll allow it. Storms? Please, I laugh in thunder. Taking meds? Easy work. I do great with older kids too (teenagers are my people), and I’ve got a playful side—give me toys, and I’m ready to party. Now… my list of non-negotiables: Food aggression? Yep, keep your hands to yourself at mealtime. Vacuum and mop? Absolutely not. Those are clearly evil, and I request protective custody in my kennel until the danger has passed. What I need is a savvy human with patience, humor, and enough confidence to handle a dog who occasionally acts like he pays the bills. So if you’ve been searching for a hilarious, dramatic, toy-loving, leash-walking, storm-proof legend with main-character energy… congratulations. You found me. Local adoption fee is $500(in TX)

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Bonjour! I’m Jacque — a French Bulldog with a big heart and a soft spot for naps. I was born on October 15, 2024, and I’m just starting to discover how fun life can be. I came here with my brother after our previous owner realized they couldn’t care for us financially. When we arrived, we both had some pretty rough skin issues, including hair loss and fleas. But don’t worry—I’m already on the road to feeling much better and getting healthier every day! I’m a very sweet boy, and I’m learning what love, playtime, and affection are all about. It’s all still a little new to me, but I like it… a lot. Frenchies like me are usually playful, silly, and full of energy—and I’m sure that side of me will come out more and more as I gain confidence. Right now, my absolute favorite thing to do is curl up on my doggy couch and take a good nap. It’s kind of my specialty. I’m neutered, vaccinated, current on ProHeart 12, protected with Bravecto, and I tested negative on my 4DX—so I’m all set to find my forever home! My adoption fee is $500. If you’re ready to welcome me into your life, you can apply at www.adoggie4you.org . I’m currently in Texas, but I can be transported to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Des Moines, Omaha, Cincinnati, Lexington, KY, or along the East Coast. If I need a ride, there’s an additional $250 transport fee. (I can’t travel to Rhode Island or Massachusetts due to regulations.)Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.May 12, 2026, 2:01 pm

Story
This tiny little squish is basically everything people love about Frenchies wrapped up into one ridiculously cute 20 lb package. The snorts, the grunts, the compact little body, the “pick me up immediately” energy… she’s got it all. And when I say tiny, I mean TINY tiny. Zoe Cherie is one of those dogs that you look at and instantly want to scoop into your lap and never put down again. She has the sweetest little face, the softest “I just want to love you” personality, and the kind of calm, easygoing nature that makes her feel like she’s always belonged right beside you. Honestly, if you’re a French Bulldog lover… this girl is going to absolutely wreck your heart in the best way possible. Watch her video and fall in love with this cutie: https://youtu.be/lqq8TuGv5pM?si=KiCqyUR9FmBxzPC- Zoe Cherie is approximately 2 years old, weighs around 20 lbs, and based off her looks alone, there is definitely some French Bulldog mixed in there somewhere. With rescue it’s always a mystery and we cannot guarantee breed or age, but one thing we can say is that this girl fully brings the Frenchie charm. When it comes to people, Zoe is a total lap dog and snuggle bug through and through. She genuinely does not seem to care much about what’s going on around her as long as she gets to be near her people. She’s incredibly tolerant with physical touch and handling too. Nail trims? She’ll literally fall asleep during them. Dress her up in cute outfits? She just sits there looking adorable and accepting her fate LOL. She has such an easy, gentle temperament and is honestly one of the most low-maintenance little companions we’ve seen. She’s quiet, affectionate, and just has this naturally comforting presence about her. Zoe is also great with other dogs and has done well around both big and small dogs. She’s happy to peacefully coexist and is also happy to engage in lighthearted, gentle play with the right dog. She especially enjoys little games of chase, though her tiny little legs definitely cannot keep up with the bigger dogs for long LOL. She tries her best though, which somehow makes it even cuter. More often than not, Zoe is more of a “lazy player” and will happily lay down and play from the comfort of the floor instead of running full speed around the yard. She seems to enjoy calm, easygoing dog friends that match her mellow vibe. She also met our house cat Biggie and met him appropriately and was very respectful around him. She did not chase Biggie, nor was she bothered by Biggie jumping or doing what cats do. Biggie also felt comfortable around her as well. We do not know if she has ever lived in a home before with a cat and this was our first time seeing her with a cat. If you have a cat in the home, we can arrange for her to have a sleepover with a cat upon request. Just let us know! Zoe is crate trained and currently working on potty training and doing really well so far. She will need continued consistency, routine, and occasional potty breaks throughout the day to continue setting her up for success. She takes treats very gently, already knows how to sit, and while she hasn’t shown much interest in toys yet, that could absolutely change once she settles into a home environment. One of the best things about Zoe is just how easy she is to live with. She doesn’t require much. She’s low energy, happy to lounge around, and truly just wants a loving home where she can be spoiled and included in everyday life. Because she’s so quiet and easygoing, we could absolutely see her potentially doing well in an apartment setting with regular potty breaks, but she would also be perfectly happy in a home with a backyard where she can sunbathe and waddle around sniffing the grass. At the end of the day, Zoe is just a perfect little bean. Sweet, snuggly, low-key, ridiculously cute, and full of that funny little Frenchie personality that people fall head over heels for. She’s the type of dog that makes your house feel softer, quieter, and cozier just by being in it. We are willing to test Zoe Cherie with anything you need in order to ensure it's a perfect match. We can make anything happen! Just let us know. Ready to welcome a new furry friend into your life?
