Travis has a friendly, playful personality and loves spending his days going for walks, playing with his favorite toys, and, of course, enjoying tasty treats. He’s currently working on his leash manners and can pull a bit, but with consistency and patience, he’s sure to improve. He does well with some dogs but can be a bit selective about his canine friends, so thoughtful introductions will be important. Travis would thrive in a home where he gets daily walks, plenty of playtime, and lots of attention from his people. One of his favorite things in the world? Belly rubs! Travis is happiest when he’s soaking up love and affection. He’ll need a family willing to give him a little time to adjust as he settles in, but once he does, you’ll have a loyal, fun-loving companion by your side. Fancy is most definitely a unique puppy and we are excited to help her move along to her forever home. She is a Fluffy Frenchie, estimated to be 9 months old, currently weighing 18 lbs. We had not planned to bring Fancy into our rescue, rather, we had committed to a little Hound Mix. However on the day prior to transport, we were asked if we could squeeze in Fancy. She has been surrendered by her breeder, who was cited for having one too many dogs on his property. So, Fancy was dumped….and…given the chance to find a forever home perfect for her, rather than face who knows what kind of future!! She’s little Miss Personality, friendly, sociable, and outgoing. Fancy loves to play with other dogs, with toys, with chew bones. Although a puppy, Fancy is not wild and crazy, but rather playful, balancing her play with lounging. She can be mischievous at times! Fancy is of course gorgeous with her black silky-soft medium-length coat, glistening in the sun outside! She requires a family very experienced with the French Bulldog Breed, being fully aware of potential health issues specific to this breed, i.e., breathing issues related to their squishy face, eye issues, skin allergies, ear infections to name a few. Fortunately at Fancy’s initial vet visit, our vet assessed her as being an overall healthy version of the breed; her face is not as squished in as many dogs of this breed, her skin / coat look great, and her eye health is great too. Fancy would do best living in a single-family home with a nice, secured, fenced yard allowing her to run and play as much as she’d like. While not a barker, Fancy does enjoy an occasional barking session, and, her bark is loud and somewhat high-pitched. Fancy is up to date on vetting, and vaccinations. She is heartworm negative and on monthly heartworm preventative. Fancy’s spay and microchipping are also included in her adoption fee. She is working hard on housebreaking and doing well! He’s almost there! Please note that BAARK is located in Barrington IL, a far NW suburb of Chicago, and adopts local to our area (within 40 miles), in Illinois. **I am available for Permanent Foster or Adoption** A “calm snorty lovebug” is how one of the staff members described me. I’m known to climb into people’s lap, just chilling and getting loved. I’m also pretty smart: sit, down, stay and ready to learn more! I enjoy having fun fetching toys, especially the ones that don’t just squeak but make some funky noises. I do prefer women, no offense guys, and would love to be the only 4-legged in the home in order to be the center of attention. You’ve got love…I’ve got love for you too girl! I have some special needs so I am available as a permanent foster. This means that Save-A-Pet will continue to coordinate and pay for the vet care related to my condition. I’m of course also available for adoption.

Mary Jo is a 4 year old Frenchie with a sweet and cuddly personality! She only weighs about 15 pounds, perfect to tuck under your arm and carry around with you :) She gets along fine with the resident dog in her foster home and loves to run around with her. Mary Jo is great with children and adults alike, and we think she will be fine with cats, too. Mary Jo does very well in her crate and is working on potty training. She's also working on learning basic commands, but her future family should plan to continue teaching her! She loves snuggling on the couch, running around outside, and just generally going with the flow. She's a little delight and will be a great buddy for her new family! Mary Jo's adoption fee is $600
