He has been in foster care since he was a few weeks old and was left kennel by himself until now. He is the most appreciative house, pup ever! It didn’t take long before he found his way to sneak into bed with me. He does great with kids, cats and dogs. He does not bark at night, which is a very pleasant surprise. He has a bright and bubbly personality. Barney is about 30 lbs. Barney will make a wonderful house pup. He is house trained and has no issues at all. Barney is currently in foster care with Ozark Homeward Bound animal rescue in Harrison Arkansas. Do not let distance be a deterrent. There is a Facebook page where you can see videos of him to get to know him. This handsome boy is Bandit and he is one of our HOME FOR THE HOLIDAYS dogs! If you adopt Bandit before January 1, the adoption fee will be half-price! Bandit is 4-years-old and weighs 60 lb. We think he is a foxhound mix. Bandit is a very sweet dog who loves any kind of attention. His goofy ears are sure to catch anybody's attention. Bandit loves to put his paws up on your lap so that he can give your face kisses. He's a big dog that does not quite know his size but he's food motivated and ready to learn. He has already learned so much during his time at DAWS. Bandit is a people's dog and immediately loves anybody he meets. He would like to be in a home where he isn't alone for long hours. Although Bandit is an active boy who does like to play, he's just happy to be doing anything as long as it's with people. He likes meeting other dogs and playing with them, but he may be jealous of another dog in the home. Bandit would do best with teens and up. Bandit loves car rides and outdoor adventures. I'm such a gentle and kind soul and I get along with everyone I meet....kids, dogs, cats and even chickens. I can be a bit shy when you first meet me but I warm up quickly and I'm very respectful to other dogs...I'm just a lover! I'm very smart and my secret power is that I'm a mellow girl. My Foster Mom says "Allie is very affectionate and polite and loves being with other dogs. She's so well behaved, listens so well and is very obedient.
