Story
My name is Allie and I'm such a wonderful girl! I'm a 2 year beautiful Foxhound and fully grown at 50 pounds. I'm such a gentle and kind soul and I get along with everyone I meet....kids, dogs, cats and even chickens. I can be a bit shy when you first meet me but I warm up quickly and I'm very respectful to other dogs...I'm just a lover! I'm very smart and my secret power is that I'm a mellow girl. My Foster Mom says "Allie is very affectionate and polite and loves being with other dogs. She's so well behaved, listens so well and is very obedient. Her happy place is relaxing in the backyard sniffing the fresh air and taking nice walks. She loves nature and being outside. She's an all around great dog!" I'm keeping my paws crossed that a loving and kind family finds me. An added bonus would be a doggie sibling and a fenced in yard. Reach out to Long Road Home Rescue (lrhrescue@gmail.com) to find out more info about me.

Story
adoption donation : $699 weight 33 lbs  Age: 5 months as of 10/15       The Rosie puppies—Rosie, Roseann and Rosemary— are adorable, friendly and sweet puppies who were left at the end of the Wags driveway in a cardboard box along with a mama cat and her kittens. Sadly in Mississippi this is all too common.       But despite their sad beginning  the Rosies are happy and thriving. They are mixes, but appear to have some English foxhound, and perhaps black mouth cur in them, just perfect for a medium size family dog. They couldn’t be sweeter and are very mellow. They are full of kisses and wiggles and love to romp and play and then snuggle together for a puppy nap.    The  Rosie puppies have had vaccinations, but will be spayed when they are older. Wags will pay for the procedure at one of the clinics that we use in the northeast or reimburse adopters what we pay if they choose to use their own vet. The puppies are doing well house training, but they need a refresher when they adjust to a new home. We are adopting them individuals , while they do adore each other they will adjust apart  in a loving home.        Wags is a struggling 501(c) 3 where one woman in rural Mississippi takes care of about 150 homeless and stray dogs.  Adoption donations are the only source of funding for the rescue. Adoption fee includes the transport from Mississippi, vaccines, microchip and spay and neuter at one of the clinics we use. For more information on adopting any of the Rosies please email mariaeftimiades@yahoo.com    November 8, 2024, 8:37 am
