Ranger is currently in foster care at a rescue in Oklahoma. We are looking for a home in a state where people treat their animals well. He has to be prepaid and picked up directly from transport in one of the cities listed at the bottom of this listing. If things don't work out for some reason, which rarely ever happens, he will go back to Oklahoma on our next transport until a new home is found. Ranger is a male mixed breed, our Apple AI is saying breed mixes including English Foxhound, American English Coonhound, Beagle etc...but we can say he is a bundle of joy! -~11 1/2 months old and weighs 40 pounds (December 29th). -He came into our rescue as an abandoned dog, miles away from civilization, so he was dumped there on purpose. -Was quite shy and scared of people when we got him, but he has quickly come out of his shell and absolutely loves people now! -High energy -Currently being fostered and is learning crate and leash training. -Does well with other dogs and we assume with children and cats as well since he is young. -Is not housebroken but we are sure he can learn quickly. This beautiful guy is COLBY and he's a social butterfly! He's a 2-3 year old very sweet American Foxhound (we think pure-breed) and he's fully grown at 46 pounds. He has great social skills and loves every single person and dog he meets. He's super smart, sweet, energetic and a happy guy. He'd be a great addition to a family who wants a fun dog to be part of their family. He could live as a solo pup but he'd love a doggie sibling too. adoption donation : $699 weight 33 lbs Age: 5 months as of 10/15 The Rosie puppies—Rosie, Roseann and Rosemary— are adorable, friendly and sweet puppies who were left at the end of the Wags driveway in a cardboard box along with a mama cat and her kittens. Sadly in Mississippi this is all too common. But despite their sad beginning the Rosies are happy and thriving. They are mixes, but appear to have some English foxhound, and perhaps black mouth cur in them, just perfect for a medium size family dog. They couldn’t be sweeter and are very mellow. They are full of kisses and wiggles and love to romp and play and then snuggle together for a puppy nap. The Rosie puppies have had vaccinations, but will be spayed when they are older. Wags will pay for the procedure at one of the clinics that we use in the northeast or reimburse adopters what we pay if they choose to use their own vet. The puppies are doing well house training, but they need a refresher when they adjust to a new home. We are adopting them individuals , while they do adore each other they will adjust apart in a loving home. Wags is a struggling 501(c) 3 where one woman in rural Mississippi takes care of about 150 homeless and stray dogs. Adoption donations are the only source of funding for the rescue. Adoption fee includes the transport from Mississippi, vaccines, microchip and spay and neuter at one of the clinics we use.
