**PLEASE READ TO THE END FOR IMPORTANT INFORMATION.** If you would like to adopt, please fill out an application at www.TexasChihuahuaRescue.org. The adoption fee is $400. All dogs are fully vetted, spayed/neutered, fully vaccinated, microchipped current on flea, tick, hw meds and dewormer. Texas Chihuahua Rescue is based in Pleasanton, Texas. Additional photos and videos will be made available to approved adopters Texas adopters will be required to pick up their adopted dogs in Pleasanton. Ralphie is an absolute gem of a dog and we all adore him. He is approximately one and a half years old and a short stout 16 pounds. Ralphie is “slew footed” toeing out . This could be a birth defect or caused by poor nutrition as a baby . Either way, he is adorable and gets around just fine. Ralphie may not be running any marathons but he runs, walks, plays, gets up stairs and hops and jumps just like a normal dog. He may get arthritis in these areas as he ages but don’t we all. Ralphie was found as a stray and rescued from our local shelter. He is just such a happy and loving, affectionate baby boy. He is great with kids, cats, and dogs and new people, he is social and joyful. Ralphie does like to play though so very fragile small older dogs may not love that. He is not barky, he walks on a leash and he is just a joy to be around. He shows pretty good potty manners here at the rescue but does indeed mark every leaf and tree and blade of grass outside. I would not call him potty trained but he is such a people pleaser I think that task would be very very easy to accomplish in a small amount of time in his new home. Give this boy a home for the holidays ❤️
