Story
SOCIAL MEDIA HASHTAG: #thatradar Radar is a handsome, 37lb, 4yr old guy (Jan 2023) who is quite charming. He has an extremely sweet nature, is gentle when taking treats, and gives very soft kisses. He also has the best ears! He's a little afraid when he meets new people, but he obviously wants to be loved. So in meeting Radar he'd need to be approached gently. He does warm up fast when you don't force yourself on him, and at that point he's very snuggly and affectionate.  Radar is extremely intelligent and learns quickly. However, he is NOT to be trusted off leash, as he bolts at the first opportunity of an open door. He is energetic, so he'll require a safe fenced yard to play in, and he'd LOVE a canine buddy to chase and wrestle around with - He LOVES dogs (NO cats)! He is crate trained and house trained, and he rides well in a car. He loves to go on car rides, but he can get a little nervous when out and about. However, he does relax in time. He is also protective of his food, so we're working on this, as well, and making progress. As a result, it's best for no young children under the age of 16 to be in his new home. Radar is an super hugger and will wrap all four legs around you, resting his head on your shoulder. He also loves to jump up and wrap his front legs around your waist, snuggling his head into your waist. He always wants you to know that you're loved.  He is a very playful guy, a super fast runner, and so enjoys sharing this with his doggy best friends. However, his new canine friends will need to be tolerant of his rough housing, for despite his little body, he is a go getter! His mouthiness for other dogs is a little too much for some, so it's important that another dog is accepting of this. He's just a silly, active boy that loves to play, play, play! Yet he is so well behaved indoors...he's such a great little guy! He just needs the right home that accepts his energy and high levels of play, as well as continue working with him on meeting new people. He does fine with meet and greets in his home, but out and about he becomes a little more hesitant on new friends. We have a lot of fun with this little happy fella, and we know his new family will, too - he just needs that special someone willing to accept his energy and fears. He's truly a sweet natured boy and as cute as he can be. If you think you're interested, please let us know!  ##465975##

Story
Meet Bucky! This sweet boy is ready for adoption, he is an 8 month old Feist mix and is about 20 pounds. Fully vetted and ready for his forever home! Bucky is a sweet timid boy. He needs ample time to adjust but once he does he loves to be cuddled and loved. When adjusted he loves to play. Bucky is currently in Forster and this is what his foster family has to say: “Bucky has taken up with one of my girls. If he goes missing, he's cuddled up in her bed! All the kids love to take turns walking him so I tend to let the smaller two take his leash and walk him away from us and he hesitates at first but then will go with them. Just to try and get that first step in leash training! He did go in the chicken yard with us Sunday and he likes to chase them. Doesn’t harm them but could potentially if we had let it continue. So maybe no one with chickens haha He has been introduced (through fence) to our dogs and was excited and went right up to them. I have an older female who’s extremely playful but very submissive as well. So I let them meet face to face and at first he tried to back away so she left him be. Then he went chasing after her and they played until she got tired. He really is such a good boy!! He’s well rounded and anyone who takes the chance to get to know him is going to fall in love. He is very active outside but when you come inside he’s calm and wants to sleep on the couch or in a bed. He does sleep in the kennel at night and we’ve had one accident after he first got there but other than that he’s been great! He doesn’t make a sound when he’s in his kennel either. We’ve been letting him new people recently. And he loves all children, warms up to women quickly, men take a little longer but he gets there.” We are looking for Bucky's forever home, he has an adoption fee. This adoption fee includes the following : Spay/Neuter, Rabies and DHPP vaccination, parasite treatment and heartworm testing/treatment. If you would like to adopt Bucky please fill out our adoption application: https://form.jotform.com/73358335488165
