Story
Scout is a 2 year old male dog who was brought to us after Hurricane Helene. He had a previous family, but after their house burned down they were unable to care for him and had to put him up for adoption. After everything he's been through he is a little nervous but is settling into his new foster home and is getting more comfortable every day. Scout has a lot of love to give, so apply to adopt him today if you want a new best friend! His foster mom said "he is SUCH a cuddle bug. He always wants to be touching. Even when I am walking around he likes to follow me around and keep touching my leg." He loves to take naps with his foster mom and would be great for an active family. He can get a little protective around his people, never agressive but he will warn other dogs when they are getting too close. That being said, he would probably do best in a home with no other pets and with an active family!

Story
Fun and feisty Fern is on the farm and she is fabulous no doubt! Fern is an adult Feist mix who weighs about 45 lbs full grown. Fern is wonderful with other dogs and is an active gal who's signature move is hopping up and down in place as if on an imaginary pogo stick. Fern is definitely a gal who will settle well with active people who like to go and be on the move as much as she does. Fern can be a girl's girl who likes to snuggle and do low key things but she can also go full tilt, run, romp, jump in puddles and will likely be up for joining you on ANY adventure you can conceive. Fern has lots of skills already including walking well on leash and being house trained which is huge bonuses for adopters! Fern will provide endless laughs and tons of fun and be your wing woman who fears nothing and is ready for anything! **Volunteer Dog Walker feedback: "Fern was such a great hiking partner! She loved the puddles and water on the trail. She walked great with her leash. Fern is an excited walker and likes to be at the front of the pack. She got a long really well with all the other dogs on the hike. She has such a gentle demeanor and is a real sweetie pie. I got to sit with her after our hike and give her a ton of pets and hugs". Story
While likely a Feist mix, Crissy is pretty irresistible as she at times looks like a miniature boxer with a squared back muzzle, a sleek coat and a gorgeous glow about her. Crissy is an adult gal who weighs about 28 lbs full grown. Crissy is an old soul with eyes that speak of a soul that runs deep and a soft and quiet temperament. She is good with other dogs and is very tolerant of the antics of some of her younger friends, finding a way to remain polite and yet indicate that she prefers more adult pursuits. Crissy is a little shy still for sure, but is likely going to be a gal who bonds quickly and completely with her people and sticks like Velcro after that. Crissy would likely prefer a somewhat more quiet home with older children, as lots of commotion is not her jam. Crissy is a sweetheart and will melt your heart!

Molly is 9 months old and weighs 16 lbs now so she will not be very big. She is in foster with both dogs and cats and does well. She can be a little shy to start so older kids would be better for her. She is potty and crate trained. Molly was dumped with her brother on a back road and found by a good Samaritan. She has been very loving and playful in her foster home. She is well behaved too! All our dogs/cats are vaccinated, microchipped, heartworm tested, on preventions, and spayed/neutered if old enough.
