Story
Paws has welcomed in The Ears pups. These kids came in from a local hoarding situation where a total of 28 animals were taken into custody. They were underweight, under socialized, and in survival mode. We are working to bring them back to puppy mode. They don't need to fight each other for food - everyone will get fed 3 times a day. Teaching them to play; to have fun. And to just be silly lil babies with big ol ears. Momo (from Avatar) is the female of the trio. She's the most energetic, the biggest of them, and has the BIGGEST ears. She's also absolutely adorable and very sweet with people. She really enjoys playtime with people and then wants to cuddle afterwards. These pups are very loving and soaking up the attention they are getting from our volunteers. She does great in the bathtub. She enjoys going out into the yard to run around and chase after the balls that the volunteers throw for her. However, she also enjoys a little sunbath on a sunny day. Puppy energy needs to have an outlet. A tired pup is a happy pup (and house)!! Adopting when they are this young allows you to expose them to various activities so they can learn to love the hobbies you love. Hiking, swimming, going to dog parks, boating, walking.... Its an endless supply of possibilities. The adults that came from the home all seemed to be some type of hound mix and its obvious by the ears, that these pups are also some type of hound. The exact breed is unknown so we are guessing based on appearance and stature. They do not have big paws so we expect them to be on the low/mid end of medium size. If you would like to open your home to Momo and help her forget about her rough beginnings, you can submit an application to come meet her (and her siblings) to see if one might be a good fit for you. ##2309666##

Teaching them to play; to have fun. And to just be silly lil babies with big ol ears. Meet Scrappy Doo.  Scrappy is so cute with his floppy ears and handsome tan coat with the black mask. He is very loving, but also enjoys a good romp in the yard. Scrappy has quite a bit of puppy energy that will need to have an outlet. A tired pup is a happy pup (and house)!! Adopting when they are young allows you to expose them to various activities so they can learn to love the hobbies you love. He did great in his bath, enjoying the water so swimming or boating could be in his future. Hiking, going to dog parks, walking.... These pups are very loving and soaking up the attention they are getting from volunteers. They've already discovered the joy of toys and walks. One of the volunteers is working on their leash manners with them and says Scrappy is pretty decent on a leash for a newbie. If you would like to open your home to lil Scrappy Doo and help him forget about his rough beginnings, you can submit an application to come meet him (and his siblings) to see if one might be a good fit for you. ##2309669##

Teaching them to play; to have fun. And to just be silly lil babies with big ol ears. Meet Wile E Coyote! Wile E is the smallest of the trio. He's got the most adorable droopy ears that give him such personality.  Puppy energy needs to have an outlet; a tired pup is a happy pup (and house)!! Adopting when they are this young allows you to expose them to various activities so they can learn to love the hobbies you love. Hiking, swimming, going to dog parks, boating, walking.... Its an endless supply of possibilities. He enjoyed his bath and was such a good boy. They've already discovered the joy of toys and walks. One of the volunteers is working on their leash manners with them. Wile E is actually more of a helper (carries the leash in his mouth) than a walker, but we've no doubt he'll get the hang of it soon. The adults that came from the home all seemed to be some type of hound mix and its obvious by the ears, that these pups are also some type of hound. The exact breed is unknown so we are guessing based on appearance and stature. They do not have big paws so we expect them to be on the low/mid end of medium size.
