Story
Rocket Man is a dog with a strong personality. He is short and stocky, making him stand out among other dogs. Rocket Man enjoys being in control and likes to be the boss of the pack. He craves attention and loves being around people, always seeking out affection and playtime. However, his assertiveness can sometimes lead to him bullying less dominant or submissive dogs. Despite this behavior, Rocket Man's loving nature and need for human companionship make him an ideal companion for an active and experienced dog owner. He enjoys running around with other dogs at the dog park. With proper training and socialization, Rocket Man can become a loyal and loving pet who will always be by his owner's side. Story
Candace Giles   8:35&#226&#128&#175PM (30 minutes ago)       to me             This very unique looking boy is call Gremlin and he is a 6 month, 22 pound boy that will probably be 30 pounds when fully grown.  He appears to have many different breeds that certainly stretches the imagination for identifying all his relatives that came together to create his look.  We think Feist, Beagle and  Pit mix might be the major relatives lurking in the past.  He and his sister Gretchen are almost identical and really sweet pups that have lived in some rather challenging circumstances the first 6 months of life.  They are now spayed and neutered and looking for someone to give them all the best things in life that they have not had until 2/20.   He will be a small dog when fully grown and a loving temperament that begs for attention and how to learn manners in life.  He is a happy boy that meets new people well and good with other dogs that come in to his life.  We see Gremlin participating in your life as a best friend forever.  Can you be his best future?  Please contact Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrtennessee@gmail.com if you are interested in this funny and happy character of a  young pup.   PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comFebruary 21, 2025, 9:36 pm

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. To apply to adopt this dog now, complete our adoption application   HERE To see our upcoming events where you can meet some of our dogs, please see   HERE Age: Adult Weight: 40 lbs. (as of 2/4/25) Location: RI Sweet Maggie Bella is thru and thru one solid love! She is described by her previous fosters as adventurous, athletic, chill, clever and confident. Maggie Bella is also known to be enthusiastic, extroverted and food motivated. This perfectly crate trained girl loves to run but also loves the comfiness of a bed and blanket too! Maggie Bella is precious beyond words. She gives the sweetest of Sweet Eyes that are possible. Maggie Bella loves all. She gets along well with other dogs and with kids too. In the beginning of her rescue she had to be fed out of a puzzle bowl, but she has overcome that along with many of her rescue journey trials. She is a resilient little mama.  Maggie Bella was dumped in a cold southern shelter while nursing a large litter of 1 week old babies. She never once complained. All of her babies were adopted and now it's her turn. Maggie Bella has completed all of her veterinary needs and she is healthy and good to go! She is ready to find her forever home and has so much to give to a family. Outdoors she loves to play and explore while indoors she wants pets and snuggles and she enjoys the comforts of  home with her people. She isn’t a demanding girl and takes life as it comes. She is easygoing. She really is all good things rolled up into one beautiful pup! An adoption donation is required for each adoption; please see   HERE   for more information about this. To apply for this dog, fill out an adoption application on our website:   Adoption Application - SOS Animal Rescue League in Rhode Island (sosarl.org)   **Additional info you should know - For most of our dogs, we are only guessing at predominant breed or breed mix. We get to know each of our dogs as an individual and do our best to describe and place them based on personality not breed label. Some dogs may not yet be in New England, nor ready for immediate adoption. There may be additional vetting, quarantine, waiting periods and/or fees depending upon your state of residence. If you have questions or concerns on any of this, you can discuss this with your Adoption Counselor.  Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.February 22, 2025, 5:12 pm

Story
Adoption Donation   $699   Located: RI (Transportation costs included to the Northeast , plz ask for more details) Age: 13 weeks old as of 2/7/2025 Weight: Est 13 lbs     This sweet girl was found with 14 other pups and 3 mama dogs living in a dilapidated structure. They didn’t even know which pups belonged to which mama. Luckily, they all got rescued, were named after football teams (go Raiders!) and now this adorable pup is being fostered in Pawtucket RI. Raider is estimated to be 12 weeks (2/3) and currently weighs 13 lbs. Pictures don’t do justice to just how beautiful this sweetheart is. Her fur is so soft and minky- she seems like she will be a low shedding dog (which is always nice). She will probably be 50-60 lbs when full grown- the perfect sized dog for keeping you warm while snuggling on the couch or out adventuring with.  Raider is so affectionate and loving and will always seek out your lap to come curl up in. She is a wonderful player with other dogs and seems to have a certain gentleness to her. Raider is being fosters with dogs, cats, an 8 year old child and seems to bond just as well with men as women. Raider is crate trained (she goes in her pen on her own during nap time- it’s so cute!) and is doing great with her housetraining progress. She really is a wonderful little thing and I can’t wait for a fabulous family to come scoop this gem up!     ***  As part of the adoption donation this pup will participate in FOA's spay/neuter program or other programs available through FOHA. All puppies will have age appropriate vaccinations.   All small Pups need to be adopted by by children old enough to understand how to be respectful and gentle in handling a small young pup. ***     If you are interested in adopting me, please fill out an application on our website   www.fohari.org and email my foster parent for more information: cassanired@gmail.com Please verify the location and readiness of this dog with us.  Because we save lives from various locations through out the United States, some dogs may not be in New England yet, nor ready for immediate adoption.       Our adoption application can be found here: https://fohari.org/application/  Our Adoption Process:   Go to our website and select the animal you are interested in.
