Story
🐾 Meet Rico! 🐾 Rico is a stunning 5-year-old Shepherd who made an incredible journey all the way from Mexico in search of a better life. After everything he’s been through, it’s no surprise that he can be nervous in new surroundings and fearful of meeting lots of new people. Because of this, Rico will need behavioral training to help him continue building confidence and feeling secure. Despite his fears, Rico has found comfort in the pack he’s made here—he bonds deeply once he trusts you and shows his true loyal, gentle nature. He’s a sweetheart at his core, ready to give love to the people he feels safe with. Rico is looking for a calm, patient home where he can settle in at his own pace and continue his journey with guidance and structure. He deserves a second chance at life filled with stability, kindness, and belonging. If you’re ready to open your heart to a dog who has overcome so much and just needs support to thrive, Rico could be the perfect match. Help him write the next chapter of his story—a chapter filled with love and trust. 💕
